We went the other day for dinner at around 4:45, got seated right away. The waitress was at table in a couple of minutes to get our drink order. She came back a few minutes later with drinks and fresh rolls, and took our order. Food came out in timely manner and was hot and order accurate. The food was tasty and we had enough for leftovers. Our waitress and manager checked with us several times to make sure that everything was fine. The restaurant was clean, the only bad thing was our table was real wobbly, we will be back.

It’s our 21st anniversary so we did a little shopping at the Mall at Fairfield Commons and quickly worked up an appetite. We decided on Logan’s because A) We’ve never had it before and B) it was close to the Mall and C) we were hungry. We were seated quickly and our server came quickly to get our drink order. Everyone was pretty nice! Time to order! Here’s what we ordered: Appetizer: Fried pickles My husband: Mesquite grilled salmon with garden salad and mashed potatoes Me: Mesquite grilled salmon with garden salad and steamed broccoli Our daughter: Cheesy Roadie(which is like a grilled cheese, and yes we did specifically ask about that) and fries. Here’s what we got: Husband: Mesquite grilled salmon with broccoli Me: Mesquite grilled salmon with broccoli Daughter: Cheeseburger and fries Notice anything? The wrong sides for my husband, completely wrong meal for he daughter and no fried pickles! Now, I love me some fried pickles and was really looking forward to them. But no. No pickles for us. Also, we had to send the water back for new because it tasted like dishwater. Gross. The salmon was tasty, although there was WAY too much seasoning. Broccoli is yummy. The daughter pretty much hated the cheeseburger and if I’d realized it wasn’t what she ordered ahead of time, I would’ve sent it back, as we did for the wrong sides. Here’s what MIGHT have prevented the problem: WRITEDOWNTHEORDER! Our server was one of those who«memorizes» your oder for the entire party but still can’t seem to get it right. Overall, the food was tasty enough and the staff were friendly enough but man, they can not get an order right! And where are my pickles!!!

Great experience. Waitress very quick and attentive. Food served in timely manner and correct. Manager validated our coupon with no complaints. The manager was working hard to serve tables and help his staff. We will be back for sure.

It pains me to write this because I’ve been a Logan’s Fairborn devotee for many years and I am even friends with one of the managers. With that said, the service, selection and quality of food has diminished in quality so I’ve chosen to stop frequenting this establishment. I would usually either dine in or order take out at least once every two weeks, and the last time was the last straw. Two weeks ago I ordered my usual… they know who I am when I call, and I had my daughter pick it up for me. When calling in they told me 20 minutes, so she went 25 minutes later and still had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the food. That’s ok, I thought. Then I took out my highly anticipated baked sweet potato; I stuck my fork into it and the potato stuck back. It was so hard that it was inedible… my first thought was to call in and complain, but after so many similar incidents I truly just have a bad taste in my mouth. I tossed the potato and just ate the wings and rolls, at least they are still tasty. However, I am over Logan’s, sadly. They have lost a long time loyal customer who spent a lot of money for that loyalty.

My family and I went the other day for a birthday and quite frankly I am beyond disappointed. The tables we were sat at felt as if they were going to break apart any moment. Although our waitress was nice and attentive, she couldn’t make up for the food. The next day four of us had gotten food poisoning! I’m not sure what it could’ve been but I’m assuming the chili since that is the only thing we all four had tried. I don’t plan to go back. If I’m in the area then I’ll probably go somewhere worth the time and money.

The friendly attitudes of the staff couldn’t make up for their embarrassing mistakes. Orders were incorrect, including drinks. The whole thing was painful to watch. The food was terrible. Was that a steak I had or a grilled baseball glove that had been sitting in the sun in an empty lot for the last 40 years? This was my first visit and definitely my last. Logan’s is such a disappointment.

I will never go back to this Logan’s! Terrible service! TERRIBLEFOOD! So disorganized and soo slow! We went there on Dec. 15 and made a complaint after we had left on the website and NO manager called me or anything! So I just have up! But I figured that I’d save you some time. DONOTGOHERE! With so much competition around them you think they would care more about their customers and want them to come back!

OMGOSH!!! That was absolutely the best porkchops in 15 years it’s not ever in my whole entire life side salad was good fried apples was better than good. Our servers name is Katrice very friendly very attentive always there when you needed her and served you with a smile make you feel welcome. I almost always got the Logan steak or my favorite prime Rib which is always good but the Best Prime Rib is at WOODYSBBQ. & Logans prime Rib is good but just barely(A Hair) under Woody’s. But I got to tell everyone it’s not easy to cook Pork Chops Good let A Lone Perfect those was PERFECT!!! Lip Smacking Tongue Waggin Perfectly Seasoned & Cooked Poek Chops. One thing I wish they would do to their Dinning Area is either make the booths tables where you can move it either closer or farther to give you more room to be comfortable when Dinning in A Booth.

Worst cut of meat I’ve ever paid for, sides looked like they had been scooped out of a Tupperware and never heated. I wont go back.

Had dinner at Logan’s for the start of a bachelor’s party, expecting it to be similar to other steak houses. Slow service, being passed over during order placement, and long wait times lead to a poor opinion, and then the food arrived. The meal was mediocre. Portion sizes were somewhat small, the presentation(not usually a consideration at a chain restaurant) seemed incredibly haphazard, and the meal was in general not up to my expectations having eaten almost exclusively at Texas Roadhouse /Outback Steakhouse. Logan’s is not a steakhouse I would strongly recommend.

Texas Roadhouse is a Michelin star restaurant compared to this place. I ordered the 6oz sirloin. Although the steak was cooked med rare, it did not taste how a steak should taste. It was almost as if it was marinated in honey or something else super sweet prior to cooking. Absolutely disgusting. I didn’t even finish it. I ordered that along with the sweet potato fries and broccoli. Instead, they sent out regular fries but quickly corrected their mistake. The best part of the meal was the regular fries. The sweet potato fries were disgusting: soggy and way too much sugar so they tasted like a sugar donut instead of a fry. Maybe if that’s your thing then it would be ok, but I find properly seasoned sweet potato fries far superior. The broccoli was not seasoned at all. My boyfriend could not finish his prime rib because of the excess amount of fat. There was hardly any protein to it! Plus, charging $ 10 for barely 2oz of mediocre whiskey, which my boyfriend ordered… outrageous! This place is disgusting. We will not be returning. I don’t think I’ve ever left so much food at a restaurant table in my life. The only redeeming quality was the service. Our waiter was very on top of things and helpful. Sorry, I forget his name.

As you all can see, i’m usually a Unilocaler who leaves tips for businesses rather than full reviews. I basically reserve reviews for businesses that are at the extreme ends of spectrum, be it good or bad. As for Logan’s I can say that i’ve honestly given them three chances to impress and they have failed miserably. At least they are consistent, right? All of my visits have been unimpressive and have me yearning for the real road house across the freeway. The food at Logan’s is so bland, salty and often overcooked. Much of it seems like you can pick up at any food service supply like GFS, so what’s the appeal? There isn’t one. Sorry Logan’s, but I won’t ever be back.

Here on business, came in for dinner. Ordered the 8 oz sirloin, which turned out to be unedible due to grizzle running thru entire cut of meat. Ick. Bartender offered to get me something else, but I had already eaten both sides and passed.

Seriously underwhelmed by my dining experience here. Seriously. Wow! What was good about it? Not much. The manager was very attentive and dessert was rather tasty but that’s about it. We came in on a Monday night for a late night bite(us old people consider 9 pm late) and there were 6 full tables. It appeared that there was 1 server for all 6 tables. Our waitress was nowhere to be found most of the time. I did hear her ask another girl for assistance with something and the girl curtly reminded her that she was no longer on the clock. Wow! We asked for peanuts and sadly never got them. I wanted to be part of the cool kids posse who spits their shells on the ground. Alas… it was junior high revisited. I never achieved cool kid status. Food was mediocre. The rolls looked great… drenched in buttery goodness… um yeah, not so much. We decided to take part in the late night special($ 0.50 wings and $ 2 appetizers). Wings were pretty good. Please note, there are like 3 choices for the $ 2 appetizers. We splurged on fried pickles and a lone slider. Pickles were extremely salty. So much so I could barely eat them. The poor little slider looked so sad. The plate consisted of a large portion of extremely salty chips with a large bun, tiny hamburger patty and one tiny pickle on top. No cheese. No dressing. Nothing. Meat and bun(and a token pickle). Not good. The one upside of dinner was the creamy treat we indulged in at the end. A fabulous tiny bucket of nutter buttery goodness. Yum-O. That was it though. Nothing else was real positive about our experience. Will we be back? Probably not. Head down the street to Texas Roadhouse. They have better food and better service. Logan’s is a no go in my book.

Took my family here the week they opened and service and food were great. Since then, its been a comedy of errors. Their cook cannot cook a steak properly to save their life. If you ask for it medium, it will be ultra-rare. If you ask for it medium-well, it will be grey inside. Guaranteed. I even talked to a regional manager one time who admitted the cook had problems and he sent me coupons for free meals. So, the next time I went, you guessed it, under/overcooked steaks. So, I’ve stopped going. I’ll never go there ever again.

The main thing about Logan’s is that everyone is very friendly and helpful. That is key to a successful restaurant, in my less than humble opinion! However friendly service is not enough to make up for overcooked and excessively fatty steaks. I ordered a rib-eye… and I understand that there is more fat in a rib-eye. However, at least 1⁄3 of my steak was fat, and not edible. My husband ordered«The Logan», and asked for it to be cooked medium rare, and it was over done. We were asked if everything was cooked to our liking, he didn’t complain. he never does. I didn’t mention that my steak was all fat, and I probably should have. One positive comment: the rolls, as mentioned by other« Unilocalers: are awesome. On a final note, I must mention the chairs. They have got to be the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve sat in in quite some time. It has occurred to me that this could be strategic on Logan’s part… the more uncomfortable the chair, the less people will be inclined to linger after dinner. I’m not sure I’ll go back to Logan’s anytime soon. With both a «Longhorn» and«Texas Roadhouse» just down the road, I don’t have to go far to get a better steak.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Logans.(well except that one time I got in a yelling match with my ex. but that is neither here nor there) The service has always been good The beer has always been good The bread is awesome, as well at the butter that comes with it The steaks are GREAT The peanuts are.well.they are peanuts. But they are unlimited and free! Not too pricey, and they have deals on certain days I believe. It’s a good go-to place. They also have a low calorie menu option, the low calorie salad is excellent.

Typical steakhouse type restaurant(comparable to Texas Roadhouse & Lone Star with peanut shells on the floor). Server and other staff were friendly and attentive. We were seated quickly and served basket after basket of warm rolls with honey butter. Food was tasty, well seasoned, and came out quickly on a busy Saturday night, and with 7 in our party. IF I’m ever in Dayton again(no promises there) I’d definitely keep Logan’s on the list of possibilities.
