Always loved iHop and would drive to West Chester previously. Excited when one was built in Beavercreek. Difference in dining experience though. Waitress was hardly seen but she was friendly. Food was average and not worth the drive to go. Disappointed.

So this got 2 stars because at least *our* order came out as ordered. But… To start, the confusion and mess at the host desk was not promising. Because there were only 2 of us we got seated pretty quickly. But from the food and paper and mess on every part of the floor throughout the restaurant, including under our table, you would have thought no one ever heard of a sweeper. There were six tables nearby us. Of them, one had no problems we could see. One had a wrong order to be sent back. One had raw food to be sent back. And THREENEVERGOTDINNER. That’s right. Three. Of those, one table of 7 was served drinks and waited over half hour without getting dinner(kids, too!). One table of 7 gave a drink order and never got it, and left 20 minutes later after informing the manager, who, instead of apologizing, scolded them for having left a wheeled leg brace in the aisle. One table of 3 left after 25 minutes of waiting without Ever being greeted, let alone having an order taken. When they got up to leave, a hostess said«have a good night!» cheerily, and the poor woman customer nearly bit off her head, understandably, telling her they had never even been greeted, and no she would not have a good night because now they had to find dinner. Our own orders came out in stages. The chicken fried steak(his) and omelette(mine) came out first. About five minutes later, my husband’s pancakes came. Then another three minutes and my pancakes. Though I had left the empty syrup jar on the edge of the table, I had to ask for it to be filled on the waitress’ third trip out. The pancakes are not being cooked right.(and it’s IHOP) I had harvest grain and nut, which I always order when back in NJ at IHOP. Here they were completely separated into layers — a top layer resting on a bottom layer — which means they aren’t being cooked at a proper temp. The very center was raw, the rest overdone. My omelette was dry as a bone. I know this place only opened up a few months back. Issues include a lot of demand(long lines) and not enough space. But worse. It is dirty, chaotic, and messy. The managerial staff looks like they slept in their clothes. The back of house needs some retraining on how to cook menu items properly and in a timely manner. And front of house — well — between the lack of greeting, lack of oversight on orders, and lack of cleanliness — this place needs a visit from corporate and a week or two of training or the long lines are going to shrivel up SOON.

This location just opened and in a great area. We have drove by many times and it was to busy to stop. The service started bad. The business was not busy but we sat a good amount of time before we were spoke to. The food was great.

What can I say… had such good service and food at the West Chester location but was a total mess at this one. Coffee was weak and Luke warm pancakes were dry and the bacon was burned. Asked for new bacon never received. The waitress seemed disengaged and tired. I was so disappointed as I truly thought this would be the go to place on Sundays. Will stick with First Watch.

Our whole experience could probably be a bad sitcom that would get cancelled shortly after the pilot aired. The customer service is AWFUL. Waitress, inattentive. Manager, over his head. Everyone working is confused by having people to a attend to. Sad, because our food was good.

Standard IHOP fare, pretty good selection day or night and tasty food. Can’t knock the value either. Hardly haute cuisine but a perfectly reasonable place to eat, a cut above Waffle House and Denny’s and a solid bob Evans alternative locally.

I visited for a weekday brunch. The hostess seated me quite promptly. My server took my order after I looked at the menu for about 5 minutes. The atmosphere is very family friendly. The large tables look spotless, and the seats feel comfy. I ordered the breakfast plate of scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and the banana crepes with Nutella. Since I ordered a tea, my server also brought out a black pitcher of hot water. The black tea(an orange pekoe) tasted quite comforting. I asked for an additional milk, and my server quickly brought out a 2% milk. My brunch tasted delicious. I wasn’t the hugest fan of the banana crepes because it tasted too sweet for me. I loved the eggs and the hash browns. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by other diners, but I think that IHOP’s breakfasts are great if you just want hot food and a hot drink. I would probably visit in the future.

Food was good. My 2 star rating is because their men’s bathroom was horrifically gross. I mean I’m a guy. I can pee anywhere. I didn’t want to pee in there. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a week. The manager was rude and blew me off when I told him. The waitress admitted to me it probably hadn’t been cleaned in days and even she doesn’t like using the restrooms there. 8 people standing around and hardly any guests and not one can clean a toilet? There was old dried vomit on the floor in the stall and pee all over under the urinal. The sinks and counters were nasty too. It really makes me question their hygiene and coming back here.

As an experienced ihop connoisseur I have to say my experience here was pretty good. We arrived at about 7:10 am were promptly greeted and seated. The food arrived after maybe a 10 minute wait. I had the raspberry and peach pancakes. My husband had the French Toast. Food was good and hot. The only real downfall was the bathrooms were pretty gross. We complained to the manager and they sent someone into clean.

Waiter was good but took forever to get our food. They did give us a 20% discount for the wait but you would think they would have the kinks worked out by now. I would still go here again but I’ll wait awhile to give them more time to get their act together.

Absolutely horrible service — Dine in — 1 adult &1 child. I don’t mind waiting for tbl. I do have a problem with the wait staff not acknowledging our presence for 15+ mins after being seated. 40 mins later we rcvd our food. Not sure what the fuss is abt food is mediocre at best.

I understand this Ihop just opened about a month ago and it’s the first one in the Dayton area to do so. There’s gonna be long wait time to be seated. Everyone is still in training and bugs need to be worked out. With that being said, I will over look that in my review. My party of 2 arrived at 10:30 a. m on Friday. We were told 30 to 40 minute wait. We were seated at our table about 35 minutes. Our waitress came within a couple of minutes. She was very nice and was able to get our drinks and take our order with in 5 minutes. We finally got our food at 11:45. The food was hot and exactly what we ordered. Now the only thing I do not like about Ihop,(and all the ihops do this) is that they keep their syrup bottles right there at your table. So that means your syrup is going to be cold and has been handled by everyone who has sat there before you. I asked my waitress if I could get a little cup of warmed syrup. She was very nice and said«no problem at all». She brought me 4 little cups of warm syrup. In short. The wait time was long but that will pass as the newness of the place wares off. The food was very good and the menu had lots of choices and they are willing to modify your order. The prices are very reasonable. 2 people and it was less than $ 20 with the tip. The place was clean and everyone was polite. The parking lot was small and unable to handle all the cars. I’m sure they will be fixing that issue. My only tip would be that if you like warm syrup on your hot cakes, ask your server. She will get you some.

Being relatively new does not excuse poor service. After waiting 10 mins for the server to remember to come over and welcome us and get our drink order(and by that time the meal order too) after being seated it was another 12 – 15 minutes before drinks were even brought out. Once our complicated order of water and juice(with a dirty cup) was brought out we had to wait an additional 15 – 20 minutes for the food which seemed to have been forgotten and reheated in the back. Our order of «sunny side up» eggs were way overcooked. The yolks were solid and whites tough. A side of bacon was ordered but dry overcooked sausage was brought out instead. The omelette had a greyish tint and the chicken within it was tough, dry and rubbery. The shredded cheese on top had the distinct look of being microwaved, which would also explain the over cooked eggs and chicken. The hashbrowns tasted more like cooking oil than potatoes or any seasoning. After finishing what we could stomach we were given our check. We put our card on the check at the end of the table and 10 minutes later a different server who had seen us sitting there waiting to get out came over and said shed try to find our server and took the card. Another 5 – 10 mins go by and we finally paid our bill and get out. With the exception of one or two the wait staff was rude and poorly trained. The hostess told everybody, one party after another until the lobby was full, its just a 10 minute wait. Eventually you have to start increasing the wait once you have no tables and a full lobby don’t ya think? Very disappointing. Will be avoiding this place for a long time.

This is a small ihop restaurant. The wait time is insane for both dining in and carry out. I went there today to order carry out and I waited almost an hour and a half for my food to get ready. I ordered pancakes, omelet and quesadilla and it took way too long to be cooked. The people who placed their orders after I did got their food first and they ordered more food than I did! The cashier groaned that I paid with a hundred dollar bill. It’s already 11 am and they have had so many customers already I thought change wouldn’t really be a problem. The cashier was short 97 cents, I just told her it’s ok and I understand they’re very busy. The workers and the manager could’ve done more for the customers, both dining in and ordering to go. I know this ihop is newly opened but they really need to get it together!

Worst dining experience ever… First we were told 30 – 45 minutes but waited 70 minutes as the dining area dwindled to nearly 25% occupancy because of «kitcken problems». They were not being very clear, maybe they got backed up but with so few people eating I doubt it, maybe pests or something. Be honest and not vague. Then, finally got seated and waited 15 minutes without seeing our waitstaff. Tables seated after us got drinks and had their orders taken and we never saw our waitstaff member. Looked for a manager but they were not available. We just left, nearly 90 minutes I will never get back. I gave it a 2(even though it deserves a 1) since we never got to taste the food… it would have to have been off the chains to make up for the experience though. Go at your own risk and be sure you have plenty of time to waste or wait.

This place has a long way to go. A long way! We checked in and were told a 45 minute wait, which was pretty spot on. The problem? The guy at the counter was muttering names out so people were missing their tables. Strike one… We sat down and weren’t greeted for about 10 minutes. It took another 10 to get a diet Pepsi. In fact, we had to stop the manager to get it. Strike two… After placing our order we patiently waited for our food… for well over 30 minutes. Meanwhile the silverware was filthy. Absolutely disgusting. After the 30 minute mark I flagged the waitress down to ask about the wait time. She said a few minutes more. Being the pregnant lil mama that I am I finally grabbed a snack out of my purse to munch on. This is the first time I have brought my own appetizers. Oh well! Strike three… After a long 40 minutes, the food comes out however, the order is incomplete. We bite into the food like ravenous savages(ok we cut our pancakes) and every single thing was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. Strike four… We flagged down the manager again… who replaced the items. Albeit, the order was incorrect again… strike five… The food was really good! We enjoyed everything. I have to say though the waffles were definitely he best followed closely by the pumpkin pancakes! But then things went south again… We got the bill and our waitress had rung every single item incorrectly. We were overcharged $ 7. Strike six… It’s supposed to be three strikes and you’re out but being this is a new restaurant we cut them some slack. A lot of slack. Quite honestly after our 2 hour(yes, no exaggerating) IHOP experience I do feel that a discount should’ve been extended. I think something should’ve been done. Like I said, I understand glitches and fully expected for there to be some but this was excessive. Staff is CLEARLY not trained yet. That’s not fair to staff or customers. Seriously do yourselves a favor and spend a bit more time training your staff or if you are doing it on the job warn your customers. Extend courtesy discounts. Do something! This was ridiculous.
