Do not waste your time here. My family of 6 decided to eat brunch on a Sat. We arrived and were seated promptly. We sat down in a corner round table. This is where it immediately went downhill. We sat there waiting for someone to even acknowledge our existence and ask if we wanted something to drink for a good 20 minutes. There was an attentive waitress to the left and another one to the right promptly waiting on the tables around us. They didn’t even look at us, despite having to squeeze passed our table to fetch things for the surrounding tables. We were visibly getting irritated, when the manager at the cash register made eye contact with me, and called a waitress over to him from another section acrossed the restaurant. He whispered something to her, and gestured our direction. She looked at us, and slowly came over to our table. She must’ve been expecting us to be really angry because you could barely hear her introduce herself or repeat our orders back to us. That was at 12:35. She came back to our table with our food at 1:40pm. You read that right. One hour and 5 minutes. Then the Border Scramble Omelet that I ordered had two small pieces of sausage in it. All tomatoes and huge potato pieces. If you know anything about this dish, it’s heaping with sausage. No apologies. The manager didn’t even come by our table. We will never waste our money on such poor customer service again. Just so you know, I’ve never written a bad review before. That is how bad it was.

Terrible service. Extremely slow. Should walk out. You would think they would be adequately staffed on a weekend.

Average food for a Bob Evans, so better than average food in general. Very crowded on weekend mornings.

Tammy was our server again this visit! She’s the best! Our food was delicious too! Thank you!

I like Bob Evans but was less than impressed. Food was terrible. Crepes were hard and chewy. Eggs were runny and bacon chewy. I was not impressed. But service was good though. I prefer another Bob Evans over this one.

Food was good as usual, but the customer service was awwwwful. My family and I ordered for carry-out about a month ago for 6 people. Once we got our order home, there were several items missing. A couple people had to share their food. We are not ones to complain, but we called to let them know. We were told Bob Evans restaurant would fix the issue and we would have credit put on an account, and they would also send us coupons in the mail. We weren’t expecting all that, but great! We received a very nice apology letter and a $ 10 coupon in the mail. Yesterday, my brother and I go around lunch time with our coupon. We explained to the server that we should have money on our«account» due to our order being incomplete last visit. She informed us that our meal would most likely be paid for at this visit. «Oh wow!!!», we thought. The manager approaches us without saying hello and tells us there’s no money on our«account»(this is also the manager my brother spoke to at the time of the first incident, the one who told my brother we would have money on an account) and that all we get is what we got in the mail. He was very rude, very accusing somehow as well. And maybe this is a strange thing to rant about, but literally 6 different people asked us «how everything tasted» MULTIPLE times. It’s annoying when you’re trying to enjoy a meal and conversation to be interrupted every 2 minutes! Pay attention to what’s going on in your restaurant! Be consistent with what you tell customers over the phone! I will definitely not be going back to this location after the manager treated us.

Let me start off by saying that I love the Bob Evans franchise. I usually visit the Bob Evans restaurant closest to our house at least 2 – 3 times per week. The price is right; the quality of the food is delicious, and since my wife and I have been on weight watchers; it’s easy to calculate/watch our points. Unfortunately, 3 of my last 5 visits have had problems. Not with the food, but with the service. Three visits ago, my son and I ordered our dinner; only to be kept waiting for an extended period of time. This visit had nothing to do with our waitress; as we heard her asking the cooks several times to get our order out. It wasn’t until 40 minutes had passed that the cooks told our waitress that they didn’t have any chicken(my order) and it would be another 40 minutes(at least) before it was done. Unacceptable. The manager offered to give me another meal at no charge, but I was so frustrated, that I declined the free meal. A couple of visits later my wife, son and I visited the same restaurant and ordered our meals. The service was extremely slow. After 30 – 40 minutes, we made a comment to the manager about the slow service. She offered to give us a free desert; but as mentioned earlier, we’re watching our weight, so declined the ice cream. Tonight, the three of us visited again. There wasn’t a large crowd, but the waitresses all seemed to be stressed; and running back and forth. The hostess offered to get our drinks and take our orders since the waitresses were busy. Great initiative on her part. The problem this created was that she had to go back to her job of seating customers and checking out those that were leaving. After 30 minutes of not having anyone come by our table, I called the manager over to inform her that we felt as though we were abandoned. The couple at a table next to us overheard us and made the same comment. The manager assured us that our server would be right over. When the food finally came out, my wife’s order was COLD! I told the manager that I saw it sitting in the window for an extended period of time. My wife was so upset that she didn’t want to wait for another order and left. The manager was very apologetic and said that she felt the food and verified that it was cold. She comp’t our entire meal. This time I accepted the gratuity. I love Bob Evans; but unless this particular franchise location gets a handle on its service issues, they will lose business; eventually mine.

We had breakfast here this morning. We ended up sitting at the counter because the wait was fairly long. And it was fun! I was so impressed with the good-natured teamwork that we witnessed. And it just wasn’t a few, it was everyone. I ordered the strawberry-banana crepes and they were very good, as always. I got a side of bacon and it was cooked perfectly. My husband got the homestead breakfast and enjoyed it quite well. While we weren’t seated in a comfortable booth, sitting at the counter was a good experience. We were served promptly, the food fresh and good. A very good experience!
