A friend showed me this place while I was visiting her — we met up after her work at U of Dayton. We actually have one in Dublin, Ohio around Columbus but I haven’t been able to stop by at it. Although, I can vouch for their chocolates since my boyfriend gifted me their chocolate wurtles not once, but twice because he knew how much I liked em.
Their coffee here is strong but flavorful, and their wait staff is welcoming. Their bathrooms are singles and I think the woman’s lock was broken so even though there was a sign to knock before coming in, I saw a person or two get walked in on for a harmless laugh or two.
Also, follow them on Instagram to sample a free piece of chocolate! That’s a pretty sweet deal to me!

Excellent coffee option besides the normal chains! I was super excited to see they offered almond milk, as not even Starbucks can get with the program on this one. They have an extensive coffee, latte and frappucino menu including the «buckeye». My husband got this and it tasted like, you guessed it… the chocolate peanut-buttery goodness that you expect in Ohio. They also have wine and tons of chocolates and truffles. It would be a great place to get a gift for a friend with a serious sweet tooth.

Best matcha green latte ever. They never add sweeteners to this and it certainly doesn’t need it. What a perfect place to enjoy a chocolate and a tea solo, with a friend or over business talk. I’ll be sure to stop in on my next Dayton visit.

I absolutely love this place! Let me start off by saying that I’m not an avid coffee drinker, but this place has certainly earned my business. Each time I walk in, I am greeted by the people working, who always seem to be pleasant and in a good mood. If I have a question regarding an order, or if I want something different, they’re happy to make suggestions on what would work best. Recently, I stopped in for a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine as a gift for a friend, and they took the time to wrap it up for me in a gift bag– how thoughtful! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re surely missing out. Again– I can’t attest to much in regards to the coffee because if I do order one, it’s usually a decaf Frappé of some kind. However, the chocolates are to die for, and the drinks are delicious! :)

In town and came across this gem! I had a Milky Way chocolate latte! And by far best latte I’ve ever had!!! The location is prime and the space is clean and beautiful with lots of room. Great study place for those study coffee shop lovers! Only downfall is the price of everything in that store! Super expensive for even one piece of chocolate non the less a small drink. Otherwise, no complaints!

The staff is very friendly, and the selection of chocolates is excellent, but the coffee just isn’t that great. I’ve had the Highlander Grog and the Seattle recently. Both were drinkable, but not what I’d expect from a coffee shop.

The cashier was complaining about a customer the entire time she was taking my order, and then having to have me repeat the order numerous times because she was distracted. The woman who made my coffee glared at me the whole time and did not even tell me when my coffee was finished, and then my order was wrong and disgusting. My last visit for sure.

RIP Peet’s coffee… :(
I went in to grab a coffee today, and the caramel apple cider caught my eye.
It was delicious!!!
And the service is friendly too!
I just wish there was a much larger selection of pastries/small snack items to complement the drinks. I saw a couple of items in a basket: a couple muffins and slices of dessert bread.
They had a great selection of chocolates. I’m just not too keen on pairing my coffee with anything overly sweet.
