I have breakfast here now and then and like most of the Elmers I’ve patronized, this one is consistent. Service is attentive. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous. Quality is good. There are several five start breakfast restaurants in the area otherwise I’d probably go to Elmers more frequently.

First omelette I’ve had in years that I would eat every day. The prices at Elmer’s are great and the servers friendly. I got the«Looking for Sun» omelette with breakfast tea and it was fantastic. I was still hungry afterwards(although the portion sizes were fine, I was just exceptionally hungry) and so got a short stack of blueberry pancakes. They were fresh, fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. The berries were definitely not fresh, but the flavor was good nonetheless. This place could be better, but even without improvement, it’s a solid 5 stars.

Very nice chain restaurant. Had breakfast here and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was well prepared, cooked just right, and had a homemade taste. Apple chicken sausage was great. Buttermilk biscuits were also great. I highly recommend this over chains with similar menus like Denny’s or IHOP.

Super good food & service! This was my first time here and our server, Enrique, was so friendly, fast, and considerate(he brought us to-go coffee cups at the end of our meal). The Crabacado Omelette was the best omelet I’ve ever had! Order hash browns with«the works»(they add green onions, bacon, & sour cream). Coffee was always hot and fresh, biscuits & eggs were perfect. Enrique gave us $ 10 gift certificate for our next meal! Definitely coming back here.

Alway a good place to stop for a meal. Breakfast is my favorite. Services is great, unless you get Sarah, then it is awesome.

For a Dennys style place. Definitely a 5 star. Service was prompt, place was clean and my Crab blt salad was fresh and crisp. Cup of Ivar’s clam chowder was hot with a small piece of sand in it so you know it was the real thing. I have been before for breakfast and they also have great omelettes. A nice go to for a conistent goid meal at a fair price.

First, our server was SOFRIENDLY. She was great. So, this review has nothing to do with her(or the host who took our drink order — he was fast and nice too). This was my first time here. I liked that they had a lot of selections on the menu. Maybe I just got the wrong item. I had one of the skillets. The veggies and hash browns were way too oily. It ruined the meal. The coffee was good and the biscuit was tasty. Husband got one of the omelets. He thought the portion was small for the price and it was average. Service was slow from the kitchen… It took over 30 minutes for our meals to come out. That’s a really long time for breakfast food. I don’t think we’ll be back.

In general, I’ve found this place to be pretty consistent. Not so good today, however. The coffee tasted terrible, the biscuit under my gravy was so hard I couldn’t even cut it with my fork in some places, my eggs were not cooked over medium as I requested, the hashbrowns were undercooked on the inside, my daughter’s French toast sticks were overbaked… Anyway, you get the picture. I would probably give it two stars except that our server was good, my husband’s Egg Benedict was decent, and I have had good experiences in the past. Will update if we ever come here again, although that will probably be in a little long while, if ever.

Went here for breakfast. Typically we stay away from chains but this place was close to our hotel. It’s similar to ihop or eat n park if you know what those are; an affordable 3 meal chain with good quality and a large house. No complaints about food, price, or service(we had an amazing waitress but I forgot her name!).

I came here for the milkshake, and was not disappointed! I was given more milkshake than I could drink in the half hour I was here — anyone who knows me can attest that that is a feat! I also had the butterfly shrimp which was delicious, if a bit over priced. Visit and you’ll enjoy. :-)

Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated on a Sunday morning but totally worth it ! Great for a weekend breakfast.

Good food but lacks the most basic ingredient, salt. The hollandaise lacked flavor, and egg yolks(not sure what it was made of). Seems to be the«in spot» on Saturday morning. I will try something different next time, but overall it was good.

Still a 4, but when I was ordering my omelette, the server asked me what kind of cheese I wanted. I told him, «cheddar, not that ‘american’ cheese». He said, «We don’t have American cheese.» This place just went up another notch in my book! Ordered the build-your-own omelette once again. This is one of the few chains that has pretty darn good food no matter which one you go to. Again, 5 stars are reserved for *exceptional* establishments, so this is the highest rating I can rightly give this place. And I must say, they’re leaps and bounds better than Denny’s or IHOP!

I came here with my husband and my mom, and it made for an excellent Saturday morning! There were quite a few people in the waiting area when we arrived, but they made it through the queue pretty quickly and we were seated within a few minutes. I ordered the potato pancakes, my husband got the blueberry pancakes, and my mom got the lighter portion of the chicken-fried steak. We were all very pleased with the food and the portions were large! I thought the chicken-fried steak was the winner, lightly breaded and crispy. Although it took a little longer to receive our food than expected, everything else went quickly and the service was good. Compared to other breakfast chains, Elmer’s is definitely a winner.

We went to eat here today. I’d been to Elmer’s before, but it had been so long that I couldn’t remember if I liked the place or not. When it comes to customer service, Elmer’s is a «team». The manager who brought us to the table was excellent. He not only provided customer service, I actually thought it was sincere! The waitress we had, well, she was in training. She didn’t fill our drinks very timely, forgot to give us silverware and then we waited a little too long while our food got cold, and generally reminded me overall what a blessing a skilled waiter or waitress is. The food was excellent however. I got the Bacon Avocado burger, my daughter got the Chocolate chip pancakes, my son got the Cheeseburger sliders, and my other son got a pancake in the shape of Mickey Mouse, which kept him happy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’ll be back. The food was good, and overall the service was good. Can’t be too mad at the waitress in training. The only thing that spoiled it was a really loud party of young guys who were drinking at 8 in the morning and were really loud. We could barely hear our conversation with each other at some points. I thought that the staff should’ve said something to them, but overall I was satisfied.

Wow. This place lists the farm they bought local ingredients from on menu. Nice! I’d never heard of a Dutch Baby, but, man, I’ll never forget it now. How delicious! Service was super friendly and the place was quaint and cozy. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast. IMHO, everyone should know about a dutch baby. get in there and try it!

Cheap, good consistant breakfast good. Large portions. It is not the most swanky place to go to breakfast, but that isn’t what you are expecting either when to drive to an Elmer’s anyway. You are expecting Grandma’s house, so you are happy with that. The only problem is that Grandma got a little lazy with a couple things and you need to remind her not to slack. Let me explain: I like my scrambled eggs fresh cracked, cooked slowly(so that they are not rubbery), I also assume that most people like their eggs this way this way too. However, here, grandma, pours them from a carton(eeewwww) and cooks them on high(gasp!). Now, now, grandma. Knock that off. The server told us that you can order your scrambled eggs«Country style» where they will«actually crack an egg, and scramble it» for your order. Does it seem weird to anyone else that this isn’t the norm?

Elmer’s sources high quality beef, cheese and bacon, so what could possibly go wrong? The best ingredients put in the hands of the worst line cook results in a shoe leather tough, over cooked burger with salt and pepper. this sad excuse for a burger was sandwiched between a stale bun that completely feel apart half way through trying to choke it down. the featured bacon and cheese, while not being bad were sadly not enough to make up for what this cook did to what could have been a decent burger. Elmer’s, train your line cooks. a spatula is not a weapon to squeeze the life out of a hamburger patty. it’s really simple… gently place the burger on the grill, lightly season it, let one side cook without molesting it, gently flip the patty one time, add a little more seasoning, place the cheese on top and when it’s ready, gently pick it up and slide it on to the toasted bun. *do not* smash it flat. Do not flip it four or five times. You have the right ingredients but your process is way, way wrong. A little QA would make your customers way happier. Until you figure this out, I’ll be eating somewhere else.

I really like Elmers. And this location shares the same menu, food quality, and friendly service as the others. The establishment is clean, well kept, and in good repair. The wait for a table at 9am on a Saturday was not long, but the wait for food was the longest I’ve ever experienced at any Elmers. Good thing we weren’t in a hurry. Portion sizes have gone down just slightly, which is also fine with me. The ambiance here is a completely different vibe than the restaurants in other neighborhoods. It was way louder. The servers don’t seem to have that sixth-sense«I’m right behind you» thing going on that I’ve seen at the other locations so they were tripping over each other a bit in their business. Overall, I would definitely prefer to eat breakfast here 9 times out of ten over any other breakfast chain.

Think slightly better Shari’s. My friends and I came on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy. Service was a little slow and our food took a while to come out, but at least our server was friendly. I ordered the Farmer’s Omelette and my boyfriend ordered the Mango Turkey wrap with refillable fries. It was solid food. My omelette was made with three eggs, and it was hearty — filled with peppers, ham, and sausage… all topped with country gravy. The biscuit was pretty good too. The hashbrowns were your typical diner variety, but I enjoyed them(though I wish they had been more crispy). The turkey wrap was surprisingly better than expected; but order your refill of fries early, because they take forever to come out. Probably not a place I’d be rushing back to, but definitely an option if I’m in the area.
