I found Phil’s Fireplace Service here o Unilocal.I called him on Wed January 6, 2016. He was out on Saturday January 11th at 11am. He is the most honest service professional I have ever had to my home. Not high pressure. Does not try to sell you something you do not need. He charged $ 140 and my gas fireplace insert is working like brand new. No parts involved just a good cleaning on my 18 year old unit. I recommend him very highly. Very experienced and knowledgable.

Phil is an independent businessman. He knows his stuff about fireplaces and inserts.
He diagnosed our problem and came back the next day with the part. He didn’t charge for the return visit and did some extra work to make our gas fireplace glow, by adding in some rock wool pieces.
I highly recomend Phil for his skill, customer service and all around helpful attitude.
