Zero stars. I placed a delivery order at 11:07 am. I received my order minus the drinks at 12:15pm. They stated they will be right back with the drinks. It is now 12:53pm and I still have not received them. I am approximately 1 mile from the location. I will never order from here again

Pita pit works like subway, with preparation and assembly while you stand at the counter. They have pitas with all kinds of meats, and a couple of non-meat options too. Sodas, juices, chips, and cookies, and there you have it! This location has one of those fancy soda machines where you can choose from up to a million flavors :) Their offerings are usually pretty fresh, and I definitely crave the gyro. We used to order delivery often. Until I realized that their loyalty program is pretty worthless. I have had a card for a long time, then I created my online account a couple years ago, and entered the code on my loyalty card when prompted. So I figured I was racking up free pitas like crazy. Come to find out, their online program is run by a different company, and it doesn’t communicate with the loyalty program system. Why did they ask for my code then? Kinda disappointing, and when I inquired about it, the manager didn’t seem to care. Could have at least offered me a couple of free pitas, which is what the loyalty program is for. You missed a chance to make it right, sir. Thus, I’ve decided to take my business to tons of other locations in the area, instead of giving my money to a business which doesn’t treat loyal customers nicely. P. S. I used to be an employee wayyy back, and it was fun then. Hint: the ‘secret sauce’ is just the juice from the banana peppers container.

Best pita I’ve ever had. I eat a lot of pitas and have lost over 150 pounds by just eating pitas. I have a pita for breakfast one at lunch and I also enjoy a pita for dinner. All in all this place is pita good!

I’ve only ordered from them once so far but everything that was ordered was great. Good prices for the large portions you get, delivery was fast and friendly and the ingredients used all tasted very fresh. I definitely plan on ordering from them in the future.

So I ordered apple slices with my gyro. And the girl charged me for my meal. And then ran to the back to grab my apple slices, and brought me a fruit cup instead because I guess they stoped selling those. I was irritated she charged me for something she should know is no longer on the menu. All together the staff wasn’t very friendly or organized. Disappointed for my first time in.

So delicious. I love gyros but don’t have the time to run out and grab one on my lunch. Enter Pita Pit. You can order online and have it delivered! My coworker and I have ordered from here about 3 times now and our order always arrives on time(or early), has always been correct and has also always been fresh. The gyro doesn’t taste like an authentic gyro but is still super tasty.

I love this option! I really had not stepped in one till a few days ago. And now I have been back already. What a great simple concept. The subway if pita except it is cook fresh not microwaved as you order. Calorie counts are posted for ease of ordering. Breakfast options are really tasty! Meat the day is my fav. Why go to any fast food places anymore when you have pita pit, chipotle, jersey sub, noodles and co, and subway options?

I had a $ 5 gift card to Pita Pit, so I went in for lunch yesterday. There were 4 workers up front, but it still took about a minute for anyone to acknowledge I was there. However, not a huge deal by itself, but after the service I received later, it’s definitely worth mentioning. A guy came and took my order, then a girl came and made my pita and was ringing me up. I handed her my gift card and then took out a credit card for the rest. She ended up only adding some sort of points to card but never applying it to my order so it all went on my credit card. She seemed really confused when I explained it was a gift card and then slid it and told me it had a $ 5 balance. I told her I knew that and advised her that I had wanted it applied to my order. She seemed pretty confused by this as well and had to call over the guy who, also very confused, started shuffling through a manual. After a couple minutes of that, he said he would need to call someone about this. I was on my lunch break and told him it was fine. He handed me my gift card back and walked away. Not once did anyone apologize or even show an ounce of sympathy. No one even told me to have a good day when I left, let alone said anything at all. If someone had simply said, «hey, sorry about that» I wouldn’t be writing this review. I felt like this tiny, minuscule issue was handled really poorly by the staff.

I eat here on the regs. It’s very delicious and quick and thus good for a lunch spot when at work and only have a half an hour. Sometimes I have come when there is a line and, though it takes a bit longer those days the line is always moving and the quality doesn’t suffer.

I live just under a half a mile away from this Pita Pit. The first order I made was for three gyro pitas, delivered. The taste was… ok… not great, one of the blandest gyro’s I have had, but that really wasn’t the problem. The problem was the delivery time. 95 minutes to deliver food. When it arrived it was ice cold, all the veggies were wilted and soggy, and the Pitas were soaking wet. I gave them one more chance last week. Two souvlaki pitas for delivery. This time… amazingly it took 2HOURS and TWENTYMINUTES for delivery. Again, the food was a bit bland, and ice cold and soggy. I don’t exactly know what the issue with delivery is with this particular place, but I do know that I could have literally walked there and back 10 times in 140 minutes. It’s not in any way acceptable, especially when the sandwich place next door to them delivers in under 30 minutes anytime of the day.

My food was an hour late from when they said id recieve my food when they only had to deliver it .3 miles. Once i got my food it was cold the lettuce was soggy and gross over all wordt 20 dollars i have ever spent on two sandwitches with little to no meat on them. Food tasted like $*@/

I’ve eaten here many times over the past few years and have recently started feeling like I was risking my health because if you watch the food handlers, there are too many cross contaminations to count. Last week, I ate here on Christmas Eve day and got terrible food poisoning. Ruined my family’s Christmas. Thanks.

HAIRINFOOD!!! I am SOOO grossed out and disappointed that there were MULTIPLESTRANDSOFHAIR in not only my gyro but also in my fiancé’s gyro too!!! I only recently discovered Pitapit about a month ago and I’ve had it 3 times now but after tonight, I don’t think we’ll be eating PitaPit anymore. The food was good the first 2 times I tried it, however the second delivery arrived over 45 minutes late. But tonight, as I said above, there were multiple strands of hair in both of our gyros. ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING!!! You’ve lost two new yet loyal customers. Very disappointing!!!

My husband and I needed a late dinner snack after a busy day and decided to grab a couple out as from this place. Were new to the area and really wanted to give it a try… I ordered the chicken souvlaki and he got the Dagwood. We were both very impressed! It was a pita version of subway and very yummy! We will be back!

I love Pita Pit! I used to go on dates with my husband to a Pita Pit when we were dating. We moved around a few times and didn’t have one close until now! I was thrilled there was one here and this location didn’t let me down! Awesome customer service and awesome food! Whatever you do… Stop and eat here!

Love that it’s open fairly late for the area(midnight on the weekends). Really love that they deliver(though expect wait times of an hour or more, frequently. Jimmy John’s next door to them, meanwhile, routinely gets big orders delivered within 15 – 20 minutes). Good deal of variety in the menu, although the level of quality in the product is so Subway-like that it’s just not feasible to award the 5th star. Their BLT, for example, was certainly generous w/the shredded iceberg. But the tomatoes were few and far in between, and the bacon bits, even more(less) so… PP, take your employees on a mandatory in-service field trip to El Masry, and/or Cedo’s, and learn the proper ratio of meat in your wraps. Then we’ll see about star numero cinco…

Maybe I’m just over Pita Pit, or I just don’t like this locale much. I’ve been here twice and service has just been weird. The staff is always half confused about what’s going on and kinda stares at you for no reason… it’s weird. It’s not rude, it’s not bad… it’s just awkward. Not a fan of that feeling. Plus, it feels like food quality has gone down. Stuff isn’t as fresh, it seems like the meats are mega salted and I just feel blah after eating there. A plus is they have that cool Coke products where you can make all sorts of flavor combos.

Yay! a new Pita Pit near my workplace. I never been to a Pita Pit before, and I was surprised how much I like it. I was expecting a thick crappy pita with cold meat, but was I wrong. As soon as we enter the line, the cook ask me what kind of meat, which he immediately put on the grill. Many different toppings for you to put on your pita and very friendly service. I got the chicken caesar and it was quite good. The coke machine with 20 different drinks to choose from is cool too. I’ve seen it before, but not too common yet. The place is clean and can’t say anything bad about my first experience here. With the competition around(Jimmy John’s next door, Pizza Schmizza across the parking lot), I hope they survive!
