Progress Liquor Store

I end up on the Westside more than I’d like, but I never miss a chance to hit this OLCC provisioner because they have a deep selection for a smaller store and they’re super nice. I just landed back here in Oregon from WA, land of Crappy Selections in Supermarkets for $ 4 more a Fifth, so it’s comforting to be back in the warm, loving grasp of liquor control and lower prices.
You’ll note a pattern: people go out of their way to come here. There’s often three stores in the metro area that stock what I want and all of them are somewhere in the Greater Beaverton Co-​Prosperity Sphere. So I come here, because if you call ahead and admit you’re coming from a distance they’ll hold your bottle for a couple of hours, and the staff really cares about making you happy.
Can’t top the mixer selection, either.

I primarily only review restaurants, but had such a wonderful experience here that I felt it warranted some praise, so that this establishment could get the credit it deserves.
Liquor store visits are typically very uneventful: you go in, often knowing what you want, you pick it up, you check out, and you leave. The customer service is commonly nothing to write home about, and usually the only time you leave upset is if they do not have what you want.
First of all, this place is recently renovated, and the renovation shows in the sheer improvement to the size of the place and the amount of variety of alcohol that they are now able to sell; they have a very excellent selection of mixers as well.
But even with superior selection, the real star of this place is their staff. I had an extremely pleasant experience with both Tina and Shane, who went above and beyond in assisting me. and making sure my experience was so pleasant, that I’m now spending time out of my day to write about it.
Just as Colleen W. says she does, I will happily drive a couple of miles out of my way to bring my business here.

Prior to the Murrayhill store opening, I would come here. Everybody is super friendly and they recently remodeled and the store looks great! I will drive the extra couple of miles to shop here when I purchase alcohol because they are much friendlier than Murrayhill and they double bag here. Apparently, they are told not to double bag at Murrayhill.

Awesome store! Wonderful and super friendly staff! Love the selection and if they don’t have it they will get it for you! They also have lottey! Go and check it out! It’s the best liquor store in Oregon!!!

The staff’s always friendly and willing to help when you ask. They recently finished a big remodel that doubled the floorspace and really spruced up the place.

Really excited by the new remodel — this place ROCKS now! Best selection of Scotch and Vodka around.

small store. nice owner — i used to sell hard liqs and he was kind to a new person, trying to give a pitch.
decent selection. you can take your time browsing the shelves and only the pints and minis are behind the counter.
lots of fun and some nasty gifts and accessories. They sometimes feature samplings during prime time hours. They sell Lottery!
parking easy in a strip mall. i think they close a little early.

This liquor store is on the small side, but the location is great (a block from the mall). They have a good selection of items. I’ve always found everything I’m looking for. Sometimes they have tastings from local distilleries, too. Who doesn’t like to try before they buy?

This is just about the closest liquor store to my house. I don’t drive past it often due to where I work, but when I make a dedicated trip this is where I tend to go.
Good selection, price obviously same, and generally nice people.
I tried the new deal vodka. And I love it. Makes an absolutely amazing martini.
I will be back when I need more.

Small but friendly. Closing at 7pm is a bit ridiculous, but it’s a nice place.

Small, but lots of pints. Just tiny, good for booze on the side of the highway.
