A small shop with goodies packed into every corner. The selection is smaller than at some larger stores but the fabric that they have on hand is just beautiful and of excellent quality. I was having trouble figuring out a quilt theme and the owner spent an hour with me, even staying past close, helping me select colors and patterns that went well together. She even helped me figure out the yardage. The owner is very skilled and knowledgeable and would highly highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Another thing I love about this shop is the care they take when cutting the fabric. The fat quarters are super straight and the by the yard fabric is lovingly cut with a rotary cutter and ruler for super straight cuts. You really get the most out of the yardage and not some hack job like at certain fabric retailers. Also featured in the shop are adorable tea cozies, appliance covers, and the like made by the owner. I received one of her appliance covers for my standing mixer as a gift and I love it so much. It is reversible and the shape is tapered so that it’s not blocky looking on the counter. The quality is superb and I’m super happy with it.

This is a very small quilt shop. They had a lot of batiks. The woman working at the front was informative, but not particularly friendly. They had a selection of pre-cuts that was pretty, but limited. I was really in a quilting mood when I shopped here, and left with only one jelly roll, which is unusual for me. I can usually go nuts finding fabric for multiple projects, but between the limited selection and slightly know-it-all service, I just found myself not in the mood to browse. I was also hoping for any kind of craft/quilting magazine to take my house-bound grandmother, and resorted to a newsletter because I didn’t see any magazines. They do make use of a very small space, I recall fabrics up to the ceiling. And this is still probably the best quilting selection in Beaverton, but that’s just between Mill End(not good) and Joann.
