Quite possibly one of the worst financial institutions I’ve ever dealt with. The folks in each of the branches are extremely nice and helpful, but the CU’s policies leave much to be desired if your balance sheet isn’t up to snuff. I’m disabled and my spouse works 2 jobs in order for us to make ends meet. We have multiple direct deposits a month, but are on a tight budget because of medication expenses as well as normal everyday costs. Rivermark does not allow access to «pending» credits even though the money has been electronically transferred. In other words they have my money for multiple days before I’m allowed access. They earn interest on my money. Then if transactions come through, I’m assessed an overdraft fee because the credits are pending. Unacceptable. However, if you’re flush with cash, I’m sure they’d be the perfect CU.

After an abusive 21-year relationship with Wells Fargo, I finally switched my banking (2 checking accounts and a credit card) to the Progress Ridge branch. Since then, my personal banker Judy McAndrews and the counter staff have been absolutely incredible through some personal difficulties and banking mishaps. While a credit union does not always have all of the instant 24-hour customer service access of a commercial bank account, the genuine good will of this institution and great benefits like no-charge use of almost any ATM in the US as well as fantastic credit card rates make this great credit union and branch my choice from now on. I would give six stars if I could. As you may read from other reviews I am a picky guy with regard to customer service but these guys get a solid BRAVO from me, keep it up, folks!

After banking at so many other establishments such as Bank of the West, Key Bank, etc. I have finally found one worth sticking with! The customer service here is remarkable. They all had me recognized and knew my name by the second time I came in which is more impressive than it is creepy. Ha! Pam is incredibly helpful and personable. She made setting up accounts, online banking, etc. Incredibly easy. The fees are minimal, almost non-existent, and I earn rewards points that may prove to actually be useful! All that said I never thought I would come to enjoy going to the bank but I do! I’m definitely glad I made the decision to switch.
