Tammy is really good with men’s haircuts; always friendly and has a good sense of humor. Nice massage chairs. Good manicures. Lots of places to eat close by.

Don’t even bother making an appointment. I thought since this place was a few doors down from my dry cleaners that I’d give it a try, so I made an appointment in person and gave them my info. When I returned a few days later for my appointment, they had no idea who I was, made me wait, and then ignored me for 30 minutes. I walked out after that, and I won’t be going back.

Vonda is amazing. I got highlights with some low lights to my Carmel ombré I already had and it turned out great. I loved that she cut my hair so I could part my hair on either side. She also altered my highlights so at when I part my hair one way the color is more subtle but the other side the color is more dramatic. She knows what she’s doing and is super nice.

I wanted to love this place because I literally live 5 minutes away. The location is great! I went in for highlights, and she quoted me a set price. The day of the appointment, she caught be blind sided saying it’ll be an extra charge to strip the color from my hair before she can put the highlights in!!! I’ve had highlights a few years back on my virgin hair, and I’ve never had to strip my whole head. When I went home everyone pointed out how brassy/orange my highlights looked. I called the next day to come back in for her to tone my hair, and she«fixed it» but of course charged me extra! 120(color removal & highlights) + another 20 to tone the brassy highlights she gave me in the first place! I’m never going back. I will make the extra drive into Portland to go to a better salon!

I love these ladies! They are so nice. Make sure you get Tammy to do your nails and Vonda to style your hair. I have gotten my hair cut, styled here. I have had facial and manis, pedis and eyelash extensions done here as well. All of them were well done, for a great price. They ladies not only do a great job, they are open on Saturdays, totally flexible, priced very well and are extremely personable and have a great sense of humor! I would very much recommend this place!

Please don’t go here. Really! I would also give negative stars if possible. First, let me say that the woman who performed my services was very nice. If nice were all it took to make a good salon visit… I bought a Livingsocial deal to this salon, which included a microdermabrasion, a «deluxe» manicure, and a detox foot bath. The package should have cost a little over $ 100, which is a great deal anyway for a microderm alone, but at half price I thought I’d give the place a try. I didn’t expect luxury, but I did expect decent. The service started with the microderm, which was administered in a broom closet. I’m not exaggerating– it was the storage closet with a massage table crammed in so that the door could barely shut. Supplies, boxes, and junk piled up beside the table and no real light. The service itself was laughably bad. I have microderm treatments regularly, so I know what to expect; I had to ask the technician whether the machine was even on, as apparently just sheer force of pressing the wand into my face was supposed to do the trick. None of the typical suction and, well, sanding, involved with a microderm. My face was not cleaned beforehand and after the 5 minutes of pressing the ineffective wand into my face, I believe hand lotion was applied to my face using– I am not kidding– a set of disposable gloves as the method of application… as in rubbing the lotion into my face using the limp gloves. It was gross and ineffective to say the least. And I spent the entire treatment repeatedly rejecting the technician’s offer to remove a mole from my face using a laser. ‘Cause a $ 10 mole removal on one’s face while crammed in a dark broom closet is such a good idea! Next came the foot bath and manicure, which they did at the same time. I will first say that the detox foot bath is total crap. I don’t believe the ancient looking machine with its submerged fishtank-like pump and wrist contract strap actually does anything– particularly sucking toxins from my body through my feet. The unknown substance the technician sprinkled into my foot bath from a popcorn topping canister did help the water change color, but that’s the extent of it. Regardless, I thought the foot bath would at least be relaxing, right? No. There is no circulation of the water, only still, lukewarm water that you soak in for 30 mins as the water turns orange. You have to hold your arm at an awkward angle because of the wrist contact and can’t move. And the worst part— the tub is clearly not cleaned properly; I saw a significant variety of hair floating in my water, none of which was mine. Meanwhile, the technician attempted my «deluxe» manicure. Have you ever had a manicure where the technician doesn’t clean your hands, clean under your nails, or push back cuticles? Now I have. She also did an incredibly poor job of the filing– so bad, in fact, that I ended up asking her not to apply any polish because I knew I would have to come home and file the uneven and jagged mess first. Have you ever, ever had a BAD hand massage? Now I have. I had to redo the entire process when I got home– but then again, what can you expect when your manicure is done by a technician standing up and standing over you with sub-par lighting and equipment. Manicure uncompleted and the detox foot bath completed, my feet were patted dry(weird orange color and strangers’ hair not withstanding), and I was sent on my way. So, have I had a worse spa experience? There was this one time… in rural Cambodia… administered using a bucket of cold water borrowed from the restaurant next door… And that’s a toss up. Please do not go here. Unless niceness is all you look for in a «spa» service.

The last two times I went here for my haircut, I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time because they took walk ins. If I go to the trouble to make an appointment and I show up 5 minutes early, I feel I should have been served on time. I will not be back!

Whenever I am in Beaverton and if it is time for a haircut then Vu-Miche is where I go. Tammy is awesome and will do exactly what you want. I took my girlfriend to Tammy during one of our weekend’s trip to Beaverton and she loved it and she said it’s cheaper than her usual salon in Seattle.
