Very disappointed! Had sweet potato fries — they tasted like they had been sitting for a while. They were awful. Had a turkey burger. Bun was hard and all not very warm. The place is fairly empty. Close to home but won’t be coming back.

How could you hate this place? I can’t even with some of these reviews. I love B. Good. I love their concept and their execution and their food is always delicious and fresh. This location especially is great! It’s spacious, and the staff is friendly and even brings your food over. I have no qualms over paying a few dollars more for fresh and healthy ingredients. And even then, it wasn’t unreasonable… I think I paid $ 10 for a turkey burger, fries, and a drink(of which there are unlimited refills of natural soda, tea, or juice). That’s great! It’s about on par with Panera prices, but fresher and less processed. This isn’t a McDonalds, people. You won’t be in a fast food hangover after eating here. You’re supporting local farmers. You really can’t go wrong by spending your hard earned cashola here.

Tasteless, over cooked, and overpriced regardless of what we order. But at least the dining room is dirty. No, really — how do they procure such great ingredients and then turn them into unseasoned hockey pucks? Even the fries are a travesty. Friendly staff!

I like the idea and thinking of «a healthier burger» and B. Good Burger does a real good job of following through and delivering a nice product. Your not getting a greasy burger and fries belly bomb here(don’t get me wrong those are good sometime too!!) but your going to get a tasty«better for you» burger and fries that make you feel a little better about the world after your meal. They source everything from local purveyors so your veggies are from the farm down the street and your beef is from a few towns away. Makes you feel a little better about your«carbon footprint» while your stuffin in that burger and fries. They always have great veggie or vegan options and do a nice shake. Give it a try you’ll be satisfied and feel better about yourself after.

We love the food, service, and ambiance at this location. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. The food is fresh and healthy and is worth paying extra for the premium and farm grown ingredients. The employees are very friendly and will accommodate your order if needed with no pushback. This is one of our favorite restaurants we visit and it’s so much better for you than the other hamburger joints out there.

After eating there several times, received an offer for a free smoothie or shake since I hadn’t been back in a while. I went to the Dedham location to obtain my freebie– going out of my way off 128 after 5 in traffic and after a bad snowstorm. When I got there the clerk scanned it in and told me it was expired. I showed her the email that I had just received a week earlier with no expiration date on it(I have received other offers from Bgood with expiration dates but this was not one of them). She seemed disinterested and told me she couldn’t give it to me anyway. I asked if there was someone who could help she said I had to go to the store I opened my account at probably. I said it doesn’t say that on the email? She had nothing in response. Then she summoned over the person behind me(there was only one person behind me — otherwise the store was quiet with few people). I stood there as the guy behind me gave her his order and then I said softly well okay i guess i’ll try Hingham. She just ignored me and I left. I was upset at the treatment I received after going so out of my way too — it felt like she didn’t care at all about me or my offer. I called the Hingham store once out in the parking lot but the clerk didn’t know anything about this free offer and said sorry I can’t help you and hung up. When I came home I emailed the company on their online form(since there isn’t a phone number anywhere online or on their site to speak with an actual person — bad sign). it’s been almost two weeks — no response from Corporate on how I was treated and the non-offer I was sent. Wow. i guess I’m not going back there again. If I want to be treated like a nobody — perhaps I will but I don’t see that coming anytime soon.

I’ve been here a lot since they opened. Their burgers are good. Also like the orange/avocado salad and the chili but both are seasonal. Lately, however it has not been so good. The staff look different and I wonder if it changed hands. I ordered an Oliver burger today. The burger was overcooked and charred as was the bun. They omitted the«Oliver» dressing and the cashier(manager?) seemed a bit argumentative. I have placed them on probation and may switch to their Burlington locale. Nashua is also good when I am up there. Bedford is the closest but not worth it unless they get their act together…

Pros: Like the fact they use local farmers and give incentives(coupons) to come to the place. Cons: — A small ¼lb burger with a piece of lettuce, 2 tomatoes, 2 pickles and a small piece of onion, with small bag of fries — $ 10. –Kitchen staff is not organized or efficient and lack of confidence. I feel bad that they were trained so terribly! Because it shows. Final thought — it’s sad there isn’t more competition in Bedford for burger places because if there was, this place would be in trouble. Five Guys, Smash Burger would run this place out or force it to step up.

Love the food. The service is slow but I otherwise have no complaints. Great interesting drinks. Yummy food. Good meat and vegetarian options. Deilicious shakes. It’s got it all.

Not sure why folks are down on this location. Everyone is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is well prepared. I frequently order here with a big group at work, and they are one of the very few places in Bedford that reliably gets our order exactly right each time. Lately I have felt like the portions in their salads and quinoa bowls have been shrinking, hence the 4⁄5 instead of 5⁄5. A note on franchise vs. corporate: Some of the reviews on here(a notable one-star one, for instance) slam the b. good concept and menu. Don’t give a poor review to a single place simply because they’re executing on the corporate philosophy: review the PLACE. How’s the service? Is it clean inside? Did they prepare your food well? If you don’t like the chain menu and philosophy, for goodness’ sake just don’t go there! RE corporate(not affecting this review): I recently contacted corporate due to issues with their Android app, and the portion issue mentioned above. They responded quickly, personally, and kindly, with the detailed info I was looking for, an assertion that the portion issue was already being looked into, and comps in recognition that they had disappointed. You can’t ask for better customer service than that, and I was really pleased. Also, FWIW, I *love* the b. good concept, am thrilled to have a fast food place where the food tastes likes real food and was sourced from actual farmers. I have never had a bad experience with their beef burgers(well seasoned, juicy), though not a huge fan of their turkey burgers. And the avocado lime quinoa bowl is my favorite thing. Oh, AND they made me like kale smoothies, which I didn’t think could be done, so… win.

My pre-wife and I discovered b. good in Bedford, MA recently, and we particularly enjoy the beetroot ginger and rosemary lemonades. So much so that we wanted to serve them at our wedding. I called the Bedford b. good, and asked to speak to the manager… Mark Murphy got on the phone, and I asked him if we could buy 10 – 15 gallons of the rosemary and beetroot ginger lemonades for our wedding. Anyway, Mark and Chef Tony decided to give us the lemonade for free, and to have it for us in Portland Maine, so we don’t have to have one of our guests bring it up.(We’re getting married in Maine.) We didn’t ask for this generosity, nor was it expected. It totally blew us away. Thank you so much, you guys are awesome! (Semi-related: we also recently noticed from the pictures on the wall, that b. good gets their beef from Pineland Farms, which is an awesome place. Coincidentally, Pineland is doing the food for our wedding. Small world!) – Their burgers are also excellent. I’m basically Wimpy from Popeye… I would eat nothing but burgers if such a thing were feasible, and b. good’s are some of the best. Their fries are, too.

This location is so horrible, I felt the need to write a review to warn people. First, they do not know their food safety. Handling raw chicken and the burger toppings with the same gloves is not only disgusting but dangerous! After pointing this out, they still didn’t do anything! Last week, I had a burger there that was so disgusting I complained. It was so overcooked, full of gristle, flavorless, and not to mention not what I ordered. After they made another burger it was equally terrible. And again, they touched burger meat with their gloves and continued to touch people’s food. The fries were so oily and soggy they were I edible. I hate writing poor reviews, but this is a safety issue. Never again. The Bedford dept of public health, beware!

I’ve enjoyed the Burlington location of this chain for a long time, and I expected the same here in Bedford. No such luck. I tried their quinoa bowl, and while it was tasty, it was filled with inedible shells or pits of some kind. I had to throw it away. I also tried their new natural sodas. One flavor was good, but another was just colored seltzer with no flavor. Someone didn’t bother to follow the instructions on how to mix it, apparently. I pointed this out, and got a shrug and a blank stare. The veggie burger is good, especially the special version with barbecue sauce. The interior is awful. It shouldn’t matter in a burger joint, but this place looks like a prison cafeteria — a huge open space with tables around the edges and uncomfortable chairs. The staff seems harried and disorganized. All of this speaks to poor management and thoughtless service. Unless the Burlington place has also deteriorated(haven’t been there in a while), maybe they just need to hire some new people. And an interior designer.

What is the deal with the organizational skills?(or lack thereof?) I placed an order for 2 burgersw/2 fries to go… we were the only ones in the store… after our order was placed I waited over 10 minutes… and no one called our name… there was a «bag» with what looked like what COULD be our food sitting in the grill… I had to GOUPANDASKIFTHISWASMYFOOD! and no one KNEW! BUTTHEREWASNODUPEONTHEBAG…(no one expedited the food… and I had to ask where my fries were…) This should never have happened… IF I DIDN’T COMEUPANDASK… WOULDANYONEHAVECALLEDOURNAMES??? I don’t know if B. Good is trying to emulate the success of Five Guys, In-N-Out, or Shake Shack, but if they are, they’re doing a fairly awful job. It’s not bad stuff, by any stretch, but if they’re charging such exorbitant prices for burgers, it either has to be larger or far more tasty. The drinks don’t help either, in terms of price or quality. And the fries are genuinely awful. Burger King has better fries, and that’s a travesty. Like those other burger joints, there’s no true service; you order the burger and pick it up yourself. The seats are aluminium and flimsy and the deco is weird. Just find yourself a Five Guys.

I walk by here almost every day and just can’t bring myself to go again. The pros are that they are at least trying to do healthy farm to table burgers and such. The cons are … Weird disjointed interior, cold feeling. Inconsistent food(sometimes dry, sometimes undercooked and soggy sometimes just right). Priced high(I can live w that if it’s great but it isn’t!). Too limited menu. Service as irregular as the food inconsistent(so it’s order at the counter which implies fast then it takes forever?). My advice: the model is fatally flawed and the execution of the model is mediocre at best. Not a recipe for success. Go elsewhere.

For a fast food burger, it’s pretty good. Nice whole wheat bun, great sauce, & the actual burger has good flavor & is not a paper-thin, grey puck of meat. I would like to see them use patties that are a bit bigger, however — sometimes they seem skimpy. The fries were perfect the first time I went, & overcooked to the point of not being able to taste the sweet potato through all the burnt the second time. Since I usually opt for take-out, I’ll be sure to look inside the bag before I leave next time to see what state they’re in. The interior of the place is… awkward. Tons of open floor space with all the tables & chairs pushed to one end. I’m not sure I would enjoy eating there, so I’d just recommend getting your food to go.

A healthy and fresh burger joint where I can feed my burger addiction and not feel guilty? Sign me up! At least that’s what I thought. The problem with healthy low fat hamburgers is that they are so goddamn dry you need to load the bitch up with so much mayo you ruin any sort of perceived health benefit(and feel bad about yourself in the process) The fries here are good. The burger choices are creative and the toppings on the burgers are fresh and good. But those dry-assed barely bigger than Mcondalnd’s hamburgers… for a not quite pricey but not quite fast food level price… man no thanks, that’s just disappointing. When I went here I was one of 2 customers and about 8 or so employees. All the employees were meandering, texting, making phone calls, etc. That’s fine but when it takes over 10 minutes to get my food… not so much. I couldn’t imagine coming to this place during a lunch rush, you’re probably better calling out of work. If I came back here it would only be for the drunk elvis milkshake, that thing is goddamn superb. I know this is some people’s thing but if I’m ever in the mood for a burger I’ll swallow my shame and go anywhere else.
