Good beef sandy – had the warm sub. OK, great beef, good roll, tasty sauce. Next up, kebab salad.

Grabbed a large beef with cheese, sauce and mayo. Melt in your mouth rare roast beast topped with cheese on a tasty seeded roll. Sauce and mayo mingling and dripping down the sides, making a delicious mess. Exactly as it should be, and a very good value for the price.
I’ve never had much luck with fries at beef joints, so I hit the McDrivethru down the street for the fries to go with it.

One of the best roast beef places in the area. The Jack’s special with extra bbq sauce is a must try.

The roast beef is to die for and we are new to the area and WILL return and tell other to go there. Great sizes for the price and great customer service.

Best roast beef ever!!! Fried seafood is awesome as well. Great family run business that puts out some amazing local fare. Summer time lobster rolls are among the best you will find anywhere. The beef will literally melt in your mouth!

Best lunch in Bedford hands down. Quantity and quality of food can’t be beat for the price. I hear everything is good but since I only ever get the Jack’s Special I can’t say for sure!

Such great chicken kabob subs. The women who work here are so nice and the men in the kitchen are friendly also! Gets busy everyday around lunch time but definitely worth the wait!

Went here again the other day, got my usual, Jr. Beef. They’re putting less meat it them than even before. The beef is still good, but they continue to skimp. Once again… WHERE’S THE BEEF!!!

This is my go-​to place for takeout in Bedford. Their Garden Chicken Kabob Salad is to die for! The house dressing for the salad is terrific, and the chicken is always cooked/​seasoned to perfection. My daughter is a big fan of the chicken wings. The menu has tons of variety; there will be something even the pickiest eater will like!

Since discovering this place, I have tried several different items. Always fantastic food and always very efficient!

OMG so good. the roast beef is so tender the meatball grinder is really good and the pastrami was amazing. We will definitely go back when we are in that area again.

Best roast beef around bar none, just enough fat for flavor, sliced just thin enough to be tender but not disintegrate into a blob of meat. The chicken kabob greek salad rocks, the chicken is simply grilled, not dry, placed on a classic nice crispy greek salad with feta, home-​made dressing and fresh pita bread.

I made Duke and I live in Jersey! Haha. This is my place to stop anytime I’m in MA. Best roast beef around and I grew up on Riley’s when I worked in Chelsea!

This review is only for the onion rings and fries. I must be crazy or something when I ordered these. I know the name of the restaurant is house of roast beef, but I only ordered the onions and fries.
The onion ring was full of grease it wasn’t all that great. The fries were average, nothing special. Some of the fries were cold.
I’m looking forward to try this place again sometime and actually get a sandwich or something.

Just tried this place tonight. One of the best and most fresh roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. Highly recommend ordering from here one night if you’re in the Bedford area!

My roommate and I are total beef snobs. The beef needs to be soft, thin, soft, juicy, with a buttery-​soft texture, cooked rare, and did I mention soft? She’s from Wakefield so we’re always very weary to shy away from the legends that are jimbos, simards, kellys, harrisons, etc. (in no particular order). We just moved to Waltham and were having vicious beef cravings, but didn’t feel like driving 40+ minutes to any of our North Shore favorites. We read a few reviews for BHORB on Unilocal and saw great pictures of beefs, so we figured we’d give it a shot– and hot damn am I gald we did.
The staff was friendly, they took our order and the food was ready within 5 minutes of us sitting down to wait. The beef was PERFECT. rare, soft, saucy, juicy, flavorful, perfection. The beef was actually so soft and buttery that I could see my own teeth marks from where I took a bite through the several layers of beef. THAT SOFT. There’s nothing i hate more than biting into a beef that is dried out and impossible to bite because the beef is stringy and hard.
If you live remotely close to this place and are an avid beef love like my roommate and I, do yourself a favor and get your butt over to BHORB. you seriously will not regret it.

I grew up in Bedford, and Bedford House of Beef (colloquially know as B-​Hob) is the place for the kind of Deli Sandwich that makes your arteries clench up in anticipation.
First, some back story. As a young boy, Ken’s NY Deil down the road was my goto place for a Steak Bomb. It was essentially an entire cow worth of shaved steak on top of some white bread with American cheese. Some caramelized onions, some peppers, and just enough pastrami to add a kick.
Alas, Ken’s was renovated and the new Ken’s can’t make the sandwich I fell in love with. Never fear, however. BHOB has stepped up and has mastered my first childhood love. Order the Steak Bomb, and make sure to order a schweppes ginger ale to go with it. It’s one of those simple pleasures.

We ordered lunch ahead based on a co-worker’s recommendation. Arrived 15 minutes later and everything was ready upon our arrival for takeout. The place has a few tables, but we had already chosen the takeout option.
I had the Super Roast Beef sandwich. It was a very large serving of tender roast beef with horseradish sauce, pickles, and I added hots because that is what I do. This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.
I split the order of onion rings with my friend, and barely made it though the whole thing. Cannot wait to go here again very soon. Once I recover from this food coma in a week or so I will then plan on my return visit to Bedford House of Roast Beef.
