3 years after purchase, my pool collapsed. Over 4k and done… Nothing they can do about it…

From the purchase and installation of our in ground fiberglass pool three years ago to the yearly opening /closing of our pool as well as needed supplies /accessories and advice Blue Dolphin has been a very reliable /honest and professional pool installer and supplier. They do their own installations(whereas some contractors we looked at sub contacted this out) and handle all sub contractor(electrical and concrete) work for their customers. I feel the Blue Dolphin crew and their suppliers went over and above our expectations during the install process. Same is true every time I go to their store for supplies and accessories. They are always friendly, answer all our questions and provide great advice. That is why we are on our 4th year of doing business with Blue Dolphin!

I have been doing business with Blue Dolphin pools since 1997. This company put a 42′ X 20′ L shaped pool in my yard that is the most beautiful pool I could have ever asked for. They worked with us every step of the way, from start to finish. The foreman, on the job, Bob,(he worked so hard in such hot weather) had the best crew working for him in 90 degree weather. They followed our plan to the letter, they positioned our pool exactly where we wanted it – our job was very intricate and not easy. This crew had great patience. In this day and age, it is very difficult to get good customer service and good workmanship all at the same time. Blue Dolphin Pools is a well put together organization and we will continue to contact them for all our pool needs. Ken and Kathleen Mulligan

I am sitting by the pool as I write this and as a prior non pool fan can’t believe how much I love the finished product. We built a house last year on the side of a mountain and while we were finishing the house Blue Dolphin built the pool on a mini plateau we built on the back of the house. To say the project was challenging is an understatement as I built the pool to be as big as possible tight to the house and the edge of the plateau. Dick Doyon who did the excavation aside from being a great guy was an artist and when others said no he made it happen. I will agree with some of the reviewers that last summer with a really late start and torrential downpours made the process not great but the finished product is great. I would give a five for the product but gave a four due to the start date and some communication issues early on that got resolved. Tom, Steve and Jean helped calm me when issues came up and the crew that opened and closed my pool did a nice job. When due to the 50 mph winds we get on the mountain. our pool cover came loose on one side they came right out and fixed it no charge in the wind and snow. Don’t build a pool or a house(did I mention we did both at the same time last year aaaaargh) and expect it will be predictable especially with NH weather. That said I can’t say enough about our finished salt water pool that everyone compliments and I get up early to swim in before work daily. Give them a chance to show you what they can do. I am not a relative or employee or friend until after the pool and never met them before moving to Manchester two years ago so this is an honest review I had to do after sitting here today feeling happy with my decision. Give them a chance to show you what they can do.

Glad to see I’m not the only one that has had an awful experience. We recently met with an attorney as well.

I was extremely disappointed with Blue Dolphin. I am writing this review, because I wish I had known what a disaster working with Blue Dolphin Pools would be. I hope anyone considering a pool will take my advice and avoid giving this company your business. They have made a number of mistakes, because they are unfamiliar with setbacks and codes. Go to your town and have multiple checks, each step along the way. The steel braces were placed too far apart, the heater too close to the house, the temporary fence was a joke, and they did not deliver a railing, steps, or skimmer. The job is unfinished and it’s been two months now. No instructions on using the equipment and no start-up kit. Help is patronizing and condescending. BUYERBEWARE and I mean it.
