We had a complete conversion to natural gas. The price was reasonable and the service was top notch. In fact, when our new gas stove arrived two days before Thanksgiving damaged(and we had to buy another one the day before Thanksgiving), to make sure we had a Thanksgiving dinner they helped us pick up our new stove and installed the gas lines for us. They were under no obligation to help us but they stepped right up to the plate. All I can say is you just don’t see the level of service much these days. Make sure to ask for Mike Perry to do your install.

Reported an emergency system failure on my Mitsubishi heat pump/air conditioner. Wilkins was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and Alan Hamer arrived early in the morning to install a replacement board which he had to drive an hour out of his way to obtain. I have been happy with the Wilkins installation and their prompt and courteous warranty service.

I own a condo in Nashua, NH, and they were referred to me by Home Depot. I had them recently service my central AC because the tenants said that it would not turn on. For $ 152, Wilkins came out and told me that the blower door wasn’t completely closed, which is why the AC wouldn’t turn on. Not exactly the best way to spend all that money. It was another $ 375 for them to add ¼ of the total refrigerant, which apparently had slowly been lost over time. I can’t comment on how great a value their services are or aren’t, as I was not able to shop around price-wise; my tenants needed their AC up and running as soon as possible. Then again, $ 152 for a very simple diagnosis seems a bit exploitative to me. They were just the first ones who could come out to the condo(appt. was made for next-day). I suppose another learning experience for me.
