Besides Dickies food being average for bar b q, they do not honor their coupons. The meat cutter wasn’t friendly and the first thing he did was send my coupon off to be evaluated. I saw the manager huddling with others and they decided to reject the coupon because it didn’t have the restaurant address on it. The coupon had no qualifiers like«good only at address printed» on it. The manager wouldn’t even come talk to me about it but sent a part time server back. Very poor way to build a business. Too many good BBQ restaurants around to waste time here.

Came here for a quick bite during my lunch break because I was craving BBQ, and it definitely satisfied my craving! There’s a drive thru, or you can opt to order inside as well. If you’re dining in, you go down the line and pick your meats and sides, similar to a cafeteria line. Pretty simple, and it gives you a visual as to what you’re getting. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, and they piled a lot of meat into it, which I obviously love. However, the pork itself was pretty flavorless. They were skimpy on the BBQ sauce as well, so most of my sandwich was just dry. The parts that did have BBQ was great though. I didn’t take a picture because it didn’t look appetizing haha. Overall, it was a good sandwich for the price and considering it doesn’t classify itself as a high-end BBQ joint. The best part of it all is that you get free ice cream! Free is always good, right? Haha. No need to spend extra on dessert unless you’re craving their banana pudding or cobbler, both of which didn’t look appetizing to me. Come here if you’re looking for some quick, affordable BBQ but don’t expect it to blow your mind.

My wife and I tried Dickeys for the first time last night. When I walked in an noticed the school cafeteria style serving line I had my doubts. The sides looked as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp since they opened. The staff was not helpful all employees just standing around waiting for closing time. The pulled pork was not fresh, it had no flavor an looked as if it was cooked in a crockpot not smoked as bbq should be. I did not get sides as they looked unappetizing. The Apple cobblers top layer of crust was under cooked an raw in most places. I will not be returning to Dickeys not even for free ice cream.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and it was alright. As most bbq around here it was cafeteria style which was very convenient and we had plenty of choices. I ordered the brisket on recommendation from the staff and it was good but dry and could have been better seasoned. The sides were pretty average and nothing really stood out. They also had a complimentary ice cream cone station which would really be a hit with the kids. The staff was friendly and was the best part of my experience. While the food is not stand out, it is a good option for any lunch or dinner, kid friendly and competent staff.

Great breakfast tacos, but I recommend that you either get them to go or bring your own coffee(BYOC). Been there many times, they only had coffee once and look at me like I’m stupid for asking. Don’t know about you, but breakfast tacos says coffee to me.

I don’t see what the hype was about had the brisket and it was cold. Not that good and the rolls weren’t hot … I won’t go back.

Decent BBQ for a fast food joint. Jalapeño beans were good, not great. Macaroni & Cheese was creamy. Grilled polish was the best. Brisket looked great, but was dry and pretty flavorless. Oh, almost forgot about the turkey — that was very good, would make an excellent sandwich. If you’re in a hurry, this is good BBQ, but in the area, but there are better within a short drive.

We picked up chopped beef sandwiches at the drive through. They are now about half the size they used to be. The taste was fine — but not a deal for the price. We ordered baked beans and got home to find that they gave us their potatoe casserole which was terrible and is now in the trash — 3 people tried it and no one liked it. For an okay small sandwich you might try it but for me… I doubt that I will go there again.

Love this place! Go here all the time. I always get the same thing: brisket — which is always perfect. Always get the potato casserole and baked beans with it, both of which are great. Lots of great condiments, and iced tea is great, and free soft serve ice cream. What more could you want? :-) This is one of the smaller Dickey’s. But it has a nice homey feel to it.

I really enjoyed the food here. Go earlier in the evening as to avoid the, «no, sorry, we ran out of…»

Its not the best but it’s not the worst BBQ. it’s decent BBQ and they have a really good selection on their sides which I like. but I’m a little disappointed in them going up on their prices because it’s good BBQ but not great. give me rudys over them anytime but there is no rudys close by so this will have to do.

After a hard’s day work, I went to Dickey’s to pick up some dinner for my family. They were having a sale on pulled pork sandwiches that day. If you ever look up at their sign, usually, they have great deals for weekdays when it’s too hot to cook or you just don’t want to. The guy at the drive thru was so friendly and even helped me order for a picky eater in my bunch. When we got to the window he asked if we’d like bar-bque sauce and our food was piping hot. I left thinking what great, friendly service. The pulled pork sandwiches were delish and so were all the sides. We won’t hesitate to go back there and have some good food and even better service. That is a commodity to have in the restaurant biz nowadays. Thanks Dickey’s!

Stopped in with a thought of comparing this to the precinct line location. It’s a shame that under fhe same franchise name, there is such a great disparity in the quality of merchandise. Unlike the hurst location, the staff here acted like they enjoyed their work and the beef was hot, juicy and tender. The okra was indeed hot and crispy and green beans very tasty. No more trips to hurst when Euless has the superior product and is just as close . So, bottom line is it seems to be better than Hurst, just remember it is a chain franchise and quality varies between stores. It will do in a pinch and save a drive to Richardson to the Railhead.

Good price and fast service, plus they have GREAT sausage. I have not yet found a BBQ place that has sausage as good as theirs. Plus I like that they have a large variety of sides, not your run-of-the-mill beans and cole slaw. It’s a great place for low-carbers who crave their BBQ. I like the brisket, too. It’s always tender and smokey and although the sauce is a little too watery and sweet for my tastes, it’s not the worst I’ve ever had. Did I mention the sausage? I LOVE their sausage! I’ve had better brisket at higher-priced places, but for a quick, inexpensive meal they’re pretty good.

It’s cool to be a Spring Creek or Dickey’s hater around here, but I really think that their BBQ(we’re just talking about Dickey’s in this review) is OK. Dickey’s is my closest BBQ place, by far, so I made my latest foray to Dickey’s on a lazy rainy day when I didn’t feel like venturing far from home. Dickey’s has great sausage. It is nearly as good as the sausage from some of the best independent BBQ places around here. Their ribs are good, and their brisket, while VERY inconsistent, can be pretty good at times(often better than the much raved about North Main BBQ down the street.) I like their sides and sauce. Not much else to say. This is a pretty textbook 3 star BBQ place. Sandwich quality brisket, and good other meats. Nothing special, but much better than just edible.

Decent BBQ for a fast food place. To my surprise, they were open on Easter. I was in town for the day and starving, lonely, and craving barbecue. When I saw the«Open» sign, I nearly exploded from delight and went scampering in. The guy who served me was really nice, and didn’t have that«Ugh… I don’t want to be here on Easter» attitude about him. lol So in the end, I decided on(of course… it’s all I EVER get) brisket and hot links, with green beans and macaroni and cheese. Here’s how it went down: Brisket — pretty gross. The second I stabbed each piece with a fork, it broke in tons of little pieces I basically needed a spoon to eat. Hot links — Really really really good: D Macaroni and cheese — I loved it. Probably the best mac n cheese I’ve gotten at a restaurant. Green beans — Tasty and had a good flavor to them Overall, the food was definitely edible, but the brisket killed it for me. At that point all I could do was pour sauce all over it, and scoop it up with my bread to eat it.
