Eye exam was fine. Doctor prescribed me very expensive contact lenses when I have been wearing generic lenses that are half the price. Was traveling heavily last year and wasn’t able to sit in one place to order contacts, so I waited 3 – 4 months to order the contacts. Found out they were half the price as the generics which are just as good. Called the doctor last week to ask if I could get changed to the generic brand that I’ve been wearing for about 10 years, she said they normally charge $ 35 but she’ll let it go and to come in when I’m back in town. I come back into town specifically to get this prescription and obviously with the heavy miscommunications in the office, 3 of the staff members tell me that I need to pay $ 35 to have them«refitted.» That’s pretty frustrating, coming back into town for the prescription and being told I have to pay for it now. On top of that their staff kept putting me on hold and eventually got an attitude with me, which granted I was getting pretty pissed off at that point as well. For $ 35 they lost what would have been a loyal customer as well as a very dissatisfied review. I wonder if that was really worth $ 35? maybe to them. I would avoid Feather Eye Care, who has an office in the Walmart of Bedford Texas.
