I really like this place. Fortunately I was able to get in today and they booked me with Kim. She was very nice, informative and gave me a great haircut! I would def recommend this salon!

Oh how I love love love Lindsey Kirkpatrick-Sears at Salon Cheveux. I first found her back in June of 2013 when looking for someone to do some last minute blonde highlights on me. I called the salon and asked for someone who was«good at blonde» bc i’ve got some pretty dark locks naturally. I’d been a fake blonde for many a year at this point but was looking for someone new, with a more modern technique than my normal stylist. They got me in that morning and my beautiful relationship with Lindsey was born(A perfect stylist/colorist is a once in a life time thing ya’ll… it deserves THISMUCHDRAMAINMYWRITING) She gave me the perfect summery look and took out all the horrific orangey blonde I had left from my previous person, she didn’t use bleach which didn’t kill my hair, and she can rock some pretty sweet highlights, for a super sassy and stripey look. Because I am so dark naturally, I would have to go back and see Lindsey about every six weeks to achieve the look I wanted. and she is a popular gal, so make sure that you book early! Fast forward to 2015, and highlights aren’t so on fleek, Biolage is the new hit thing. And since my stay at home mommy budget isn’t quite cutting my blonde obsession, I knew I could trust Lindsey to take my light locks to dark tresses for the first time in 15 years. I came out loving my new color, with some beautiful biolage sunkissed tints, and not sure why I hadn’t made the switch years before! So Salon Cheveux is a small, quaint, mom and pop owned place. Both of the owners(Mom and Pop) work on site, as well as their pretty darn cute son-in law. There’s an assortment of customers on site so I can imagine that they’ve got a stylist for everyone there! They have tons of little gifts in the front waiting area where I pretty much always end up spending an extra 10 – 15 bucks on a trinket or two(don’t tell my husband), and a full selection of salon products, make up and other beauty products. Its super cozy and really REALLY relaxing. I love to go here on Saturday and make a day of it! — The waiting area is cute and plush. Coffee, wine, wine, tea or soda. NOKIDSALLOWED unless they actually have an appointment. The prices are FAR better than places like Shelton’s and the service is spectacular. EVERYONE is friendly. Another thing that is pretty awesome is that once in a while(every quarter maybe) They have a trendy stylist person come in and show/train the employees the new«it» looks(like grey silver/purple reds colors) –things that are current right now. I only know this because I was there late one day and got to watch from a far as my color was processing. I’m thinking I want to go that purple/red next and I know Salon Cheveux will have the tools to do it!

I am new to the Bedford/Euless area and was stressed about finding a new stylist. I found Salon Cheveux through the many positive reviews on Unilocal. This is a bustling salon, full of energetic stylists. My appointment was with Kim. She was fabulous. She listened carefully to my past experiences and to my ideas for my hair. She explained what she recommended so that I’d know exactly what her plan was. It worked out great. I’ve got a great color and hair cut. One previous review said that it won’t be cheap, but it will be good. I’d like to add to that… I found the cut and color totally reasonably priced at ~$ 90. However to add any highlights, the prices jumps quite a bit. I’m not sure I’m going to proceed that way, but I will be back!

I found my hairdresser soulmate!!! Destiny is amazing. She is the first hairdresser who LISTENED to what I wanted and gave me advice on what I should do, how to maintain my hair and knows her stuff. I am so happy to have finally found her. Thank you Destiny!

First, I just have to say that Sydney is an artist! I walked in with a disaster from another salon and she gave me a BEAUTIFUL ombré complimented with the perfect cut. Salon Cheveux is a relaxing place to get your hair done. I haven’t tried their nail services yet but they do offer them. I love the décor and their track lights, it’s very stylish. Highly recommend!(reasonably priced, too)

I had a milestone birthday to celebrate. I wanted an over the top fancy updo with flowers. I ordered floral hair picks from Cooper’s Florist and took the floral pieces to the salon. A blonde lady who also is the nail tech did my hair and she did a spectacular job. Pics posted. The stylist took the time to talk with me about how I wanted it to look and was excited I had brought pictures from Pinterest to help her get a better idea of what I wanted it to look like. Another stylist even came over to see the pictures and offer some ideas of how to achieve an updo that would stay put for a night on the town. I have very thick hair and my stylist pinned it so that it never moved. Later I counted and she put 45 bobby pins in my updo. I would totally go here again. The shop was very clean and I felt like the employees were all a class act.

I’m not the kind of person who gets their hair cut very often. I’m a bit lazy when it comes to that sort of thing, and when I feel the urge for a change I want to get it done fast. That’s why I cut my own bangs recently… thanks YouTube! However, there are some things you shouldn’t do by yourself. Like, trying to make your hair white-blonde without absolutely killing it, re-layering your hair, or trying to make your hair look more naturally blonde after you’ve gone white-blonde without absolutely killing it. That’s why I’ve started to see Lindsay at Cheveux! My sister and girlfriend had already been to her a few times and are both highlighted-hair-gals like myself, so when I saw their golden locks that didn’t look too yellow or brassy or rootsy, I figured I’d give Lindsay a shot! And she rocks. First of all, Lindsay is honest about your hair without demolishing your dreams and vision. About six months ago, I wanted to have ultra-white hair like Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, duh. I’ve been to a stylist who once said, «No, that will look bad.» I was all, «What?! First of all, it would look rad. Second of all, even if you thought it wouldn’t look great, I’ll pay you to give me super-platinum locks!» Lindsay, on the other hand, had a much more professional response to my request. She said something along the lines of, «We can achieve close to what you want without using bleach that will kill your hair. But your hairs are damaged, so maybe we should do a conditioning treatment too.» I followed her advice, didn’t feel like I was being scammed or told what to do, and I ended up with pretty damn blonde hair. Yay! Cheveux isn’t cheap, so know that. If you’re doing any kind of color I wouldn’t expect to pay anything under $ 100, and a simple trim is still going to run you around $ 30. Everyone here that I’ve talked to is extremely polite and professional, and you’re not going to pay as much as you will in most boutique salon. I think you pay a really fair price for great work, and my blonde color here has lasted much longer than when I’ve gone to other places. My hair is naturally a dirty blonde, but nowhere near as light as I’ve colored it… I’m probably a bit more comfortable with dark roots than many, but I’ve gone months and months between coloring without looking trashy. Yay! I definitely recommend this salon for anyone. I’ve seen women, children, and men of all ages in here, and it’s a cozy little spot. They even have a small selection of jewelry, candles, boutique-y gifts, nail polish, and of course hair products for sale upfront. So fun.
