Two Words: Bed Bugs! Location was fine, personnel were fine, everything was very lukewarm about this motel, as it should be for the relative price. But the reason behind my 1 star review is that once me and my friend got home, two days later we both had bug bites throughout our bodies and after some further consultation and research, it was settled that these were bed bug bites. Reported our stay to Travelodge corporate, and they basically informed us that since every Travelodge motel is independently owned and operated, and that they simply use the Travelodge name, there wasn’t much corporate could do. The owner of that particular location called and left a message, but his English was terrible and honestly at that point, I didn’t even feel like fighting with corporate or the owner anymore… it was what it was.

Okay this place should be closed but somehow it remains open. I suppose it is because of their cheap ass prices… trust me there is no other reason. I stayed here once about a year ago and the experience left quite the funkiest taste in my mouth… and smell in my nose. I met a girl online and I took her here because I was broke as hell. She came from out of state and unfortunately this was the best I could do at the time. UGH. When I checked in the room smelled like pee. Seriously. Like someone decided the bed was a toilet and let loose. The place was a dump!!! They offered a breakfast but I did not bother because I would not eat anything provided by a place that looks like this. Most of the guests there are meth heads and alky bums who live here full time. So many smarmy people lingering around. The worst part is the fact that I was sorta being a dog and cheating on my gf with someone else and the hotel TOTALLY invaded my privacy. Somehow my super sleuth gf found out I was there and she called the hotel. I immediately called the front desk and asked if I received ANY calls to tell them I had checked out. Uh no… not only did they continue to send her calls to my room. But over the course of the weekend they kept her updated on exactly what I was doing and who with… lol. Oh GOD. People do not use this place to try to get some on the side because u will be caught… lol. BTW I am a good girl now… that girl on the side is now my fiancée… so there. Guess something good came out of a visit to that pissy ass place.
