Totally BS they need to put up baskets in this park they have all the tea pads and they even have the hole to put the basket and I’m a disc golfer for life and this place is a thumbs down

The trails are nicely marked, the playground is abundant and always filled with kids and parents. The bathrooms are clean. The one thing they really didn’t think through was the«dog park» it’s all the way on the other side of the highway and you can’t park close to it. You have to park across the way and walk through the tunnel to get to what looks like an after thought. Or you can risk your life playing frogger and make your way across the 4 lane road. The park itself has 3 benches that are covered, and an enclosed entry area. The park itself is filled with dust and dried mud. It looks like a dried up ditch they decided to make a dog park. My dog seemed uninterested but made the best of it.

To just call it a dog park as this is listed is to slight the other 80% of the park. With two playgrounds, an amphitheatre area with bars and drums for playing, and a lot of paved walk way, this is a pretty pleasant park. It has aspirations of being a disc golf course, but the city is evidently having issues with ADA and disc golf. Doesn’t make much sense, but that’s why there are no baskets. While the pathways are nice, they are very serpentine and when you’re done wandering around, chances are high you’ll be walking off the path to get back to the parking lot. And the parking lot, or lack thereof. Not sure how they thought one strip of slots along the main drive was enough. i’ve been many times that there is essentially no parking. Why are there no spaces next to the dog park too? Just a generous painted out area with no parking signs. Good try, Bee Caves. But I won’t let the negatives keep me out.

Great place for family, friends and pets! They have great walking trails, dog park, kid playground, little kid playground, disc golf course(kinda), basketball court, and music playground. Great place to fly a kite, kick a soccer ball around, picnics, whatever your heart desires. Sometimes if you are lucky, you can hear musicians doing sound checks and a couple songs on the day of their performance at The Backyard, which is a music venue behind the park a ways.

After visiting this park I looked up the website to see if some world renowned architect designed it cause the play-scape is über futuristic and other worldly — I got lots of nieces and nephews who I take to parks and this play-scape just blew my mind!!! I was waiting at the gates at 8AM when the park gates opened and asked the gate opener why the off leash dog park was«closed until further notice» He said there was some issues with 2 different contractors that were on contract to get some grass growing(long story short the off leash dog park will have grass before it will reopen mid July). This is Bee Cave after all and they expect a dog park to have grass(Me holding back laughs:) My pups and I did the 2 mile paved loop and loved it thanks to the nice late June cold front! and peeked into The Backyard backstage. This park backs up to the new Backyard and there is a measly barbed wire fence separating the two. Seriously Backyard? I ended up becoming a Willie Family member with a 6FT fence…
