We’ll go here when we need a change from our other usual hangouts. The prices are pretty cheap for drinks and the nachos were decent to snack on. We ordered a bucket of beers(6 for $ 12) last time we went and the beers weren’t very cold. We had to order ice water to fill the bucket so the beers would cool off since the beers had been opened prior to serving. Service was good considering it was her first day. She was very attentive and constantly checking on us. We ordered Irish car bombs and were disappointed when the shot glass didn’t fit in the beer glass. It may have been the bartenders first day too. I’ll be back for football season because I like the TVs and it’s a cheap place to drink.

It’s a bar in the suburbs — filled with Beer and Dads looking for an escape from the kids. It does a great job filling this service.

It’s a sports bar in a shopping center. With all the charm thereof. I’m not sure what to expect from a shopping center based chain, but it’s got to be more than this. The upside? Plenty of room, ample seating, lots of tv screens, decent selection of beers on tap, and outdoor seating aplenty when the weather’s nice. Parking is ample if not stretched out far from the bar. Downside? No charm at all — garish signs and displays, clunky furniture and devoid of any aesthetic. Want to knock back a couple of cold brews without being distracted by anything? Here’s your bar. Devoid of all soul. In my first(and last) visit to this location I noticed a weird lack of friendliness from the bartender and server both. Meeting a friend later I ordered a 512IPA at the bar: this was only after the bartender tore herself away from her regulars(hey I get it — they’ll be back: I won’t) and then corrected me on the fact that 512 is an IPA not a pale ale. Uh, yeah, I know, can I get a drink sometime tonight? Later, my friend arriving, we moved to a table and ordered some drinks and appetizers. The server wasn’t bad — she stopped by the table many times — but her demeanor was weird. Almost as if she was on speed she spoke terribly fast, hardly ever stopped moving and was so quick to take our orders she cut us off as we spoke. Repeatedly. Go if you want but don’t blame me.

Great atmosphere. Unfortunately, that’s it. Our server was more interested in making sure her shirt was slung off her shoulder just right. We went to eat and should have noticed nobody else was eating, just drinking. We had a burger ordered med rare, a salad, and two dozen hot wings. The burger was well done along with the wings. When we mentioned the burger being inedible, our server did nothing, she just looked at all the uneaten food and took the burger away. She didn’t even refill our drinks. Service by far ranks in the top 5 of the worst services we’ve ever had. When my husband received the $ 66 tab, he asked the server to speak with the manager. Our server said«she’s working the bar and too busy to come over». Guess she didn’t realize we have legs and could walk over. The manager was great. We explained we were not looking for a freebie, we just wanted her to know what a disservice her server was doing for the restaurant. She was very receptive. We gave 2 stars for the manager and atmosphere. Note to the self absorbed server: Being a server is not a job for everybody… in fact it’s one of that hardest jobs in the world! I suggest you find another career path… preferably not in the service industry.

CLOSED. New(old, confusing) bar in same location. Little Woodrow’s used to be Woody’s(out of Houston)…and the original owner recently bought the location in Bee Cave back. Alas, Little Woodrow’s is closed… and Woody’s is re-opened. *See review for Woody’s.

Really? The ONLY wine you have by the glass is Barefoot? I can get a whole bottle of that for $ 5, and it’s not even worth the calories. I’d rather be sober. Some of us are just got beer drinkers, so would it kill you to have a few more options?

CLOSED! Granted, we did not come here that often other than a few weekend afternoons because we could bring the pups along. I’m sure this area wasn’t too conductive for business as they were located literally around the corner from the friendly folks at the Bee Cave Police Dept who apparently liked to hang out and pull over patrons. Except for the one evening when BCPD weren’t on patrol and a Woodrow’s server was brutally attacked and raped in the parking lot. And BCPD made no mention of it to our community until over a month later. Lil’ Woodrows was fun and they did a great effort to make it work in the depths of suburbia. Apparently there is a new place in its place, so we will check it out, have ONE drink, then a water and ride our bicycles back home. Stay tuned…

Little Woodrow’s is an OK spot. The only really memorable thing here are the boobies in the bathroom. They have cold beer. They have pub food. They have TVs for sports. Done. The service was good. If you need a sports bar in the Bee Caves/Gallaria area then Little Woodrow’s should be your destination.

Great spot to catch a game. They play EVERY game and typically priortize where they’re showing them. Nothing pisses me off more than having to watch the Texans game on a little tiny screen in the corner while the Redskins are on the big screen. Staff’s consistent and there’s a low turnover — they treat it like it’s their bar so you feel welcomed there.

I went to Little Woodrow’s to watch some college football games and meet up with friends. Coming from North Austin, its a bit of a trek, but once I finally got there, I had a good time. Plenty of tv’s to watch whatever team you want to watch. They have one big screen with the most popular game, which was the Longhorns game that night. The table service is a bit slow, I suggest going straight to the bar your self. If your not wanting to watch the game, they have a shuffleboard table and a pretty nice set up on the patio outside. If you find yourself in the area and looking for a sports bar, Little Woodrows would be a good choice.

Solid sports bar. I don’t write a reviews often(this is actually number 2). I have a wandering soul and this place has kept me wanting to come back over 7 months. For me that is an impressive feat. The service is incredible. As long as you treat them nicely. I’ve seen them toss out drunks and hide from jerks as any reasonable human would. For me I have a few waitresses that I can honestly say I want a blank type of beer, surprise me and not have a problem. The food is solid bar food their steak night is an amazing deal for 15 bucks you can feed two people. If you want little black dresses, heels and nearly unpronounceable drinks stay away. If you want an awesome beer or stiff basic drink this is your place.

Not a bad sports bar, though sports bars aren’t my first choice. If I was really into sports bars, I’d think the TVs were too small to really follow. Otherwise, our service was very good. I liked the wide variety of beers, and enjoyed a couple new ones. The outside area looked like a nice place to hang out at night(we were here on a Sunday afternoon), despite location in a strip mall(it’s at the end, and the outdoor area looks away from the mall mostly). All-in-all, not bad considering the local choices. I’d go back.

I have been a few times and have written one review. I’m currently sitting here giving this location another try. Positive: the bar atmosphere is good, people enjoying karaōke. Negative: bartender was responsive at first. She is now consumed with plate of food next to the register. Eating and serving. Taking shots with friends behind the bar. My point again, what happened to the customers? I would love to give this a great review, but I haven’t experienced it yet. Just some basic 101 hospitality and common sense would make it a great place. Side note: love Woodrow on 6th.

Confession: I not much of a bar gal. In fact if I’m at a bar it was probably someone else idea! Verdict: I actually liked this place. I didn’t have food because it’s just my personal rule. The atmosphere was really inviting and cozy. I love the open layout of the dining/seating areas. It really made me feel like I was able to breathe and relax. It’s a great place to gather with friends. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. Good mix of brews on tap. I’ll definitely be back.

From the outside, it’s an unassuming strip mall(albeit a nice strip mall), but inside, this place looks great! I love the pool tables, the bar, the auto garage type doors that open to a fantastic patio. It was a Saturday afternoon so my sister and I got a couple of delicious Micheladas at the bar. My boyf got a beer — his only complaint was that the beer is serve a tad bit too cold. I don’t live in the area but I think it’s a great addition to the Bee Caves community.

Beer, open architecture/high cielings, great service, football on the big screen, 100ish beers(tap and bottle), overstuffed couches to hang on, and a pool table. All you need to add it some friends. Had a blast with friends, can’t wait to do this again at this outstandingly executed location!

This is my favorite Little Woodrow’s — love the large dog friendly patio that is partially covered over looking a wooded area and hiking trail and pond with ducks who wonder around. Stopped by again today with Peter P. and ended up hanging out on the patio for 4 hours with our Pups and had a great time. Super friendly service — they even brought our dogs out some raw burger patties! 1 star — Before we even ordered the waitress brought out pails filled with ice water for the pups. 2 stars — decent wine list for a brew house and huge 100 + beer choices. 3 stars — 3.25 Mimosa, Frozen Margaritas and Miceladas until 7PM Sat & Sunday. 4 stars — with otherwise greasy pub food they make a surprisingly fresh and tasty Greek Salad and they don’t skimp on the Feta and other toppings. 5 stars — Their Fried Pickles are some of the best I have had the pleasure of eating and their Bloody Mary also ranks among the best! Since, I always have my pups with me I have never had the pleasure of enjoying the inside. But, I would love enjoy the dark wood and deep comfy leather couches interior with multiple flat screens, pool table and arcade games some time other than walking through to the bathroom. By the way the Girl’s Room has«squatters» on the door and Guy’s «standers» = cute!
