Delicious pizza and wings! Everything was nice hot when the very nice delivery guy strived. Usually we wouldn’t get pizza from here but today we did and it was worth it. They had a deal so we were able to get two orders of wings and an XL pizza for $ 25.

Just wanted to take a minute to voice many years worth of both appreciation and frustration with this Papa John’s location. The pizza tastes like Papa John’s, the drivers look like Papa John’s… the parking lot is a bit awkward and it’s really small inside, but other than that, it’s a-ok as far as Papa John’s goes. They’ve never done anything criminally wrong to my order. My only frustration is that this location — and I’ve ordered from a few different locations and this is the only one that does it — is ridiculously stingy with the best part of the PJ’s order… that’s right folks, the garlic sauce. It is nearly impossible to get it, let alone in acceptable quantities. With the exception of The Bountiful Year of 1998, when they had apparently hired one very generous cook or pizza packer or whoever puts those little packs of dipping heaven in the box and they always put 1 in a medium, 2 in a large box. Those days were beautiful. In the days before the internet, you’d phone in an order and ask for extra sauce. You stood a 50 – 50 chance of getting 2 packs in a box. Fast forward 20 years — we’re all ordering online. It’s convenient. Best of all, if you order online, you get to take advantage of the PJ’s Rewards… a free pizza for every $ 125 you spend in online orders. A beautiful incentive to order pizza from my couch without having to talk to anyone. The problem with that is the standard«Hey and could you please throw in a couple extra garlic sauce cups?» that always used to be right before the«Great thanks bye!» of an order is no longer an option because you never speak to a real human being until they are at the door, standing there with your pizza. By that time, any request you might have is too late. Delivery drivers aren’t waitresses or waiters. You can’t ask for sauce as they bring your meal and have them come back. YOUNEVER have a delivery driver come back twice to your house in the same night unless someone is fatally allergic to something they accidentally put on the pizza, and you don’t have any sandwiches for said allergic to enjoy. Yes, I could call in my order — but I won’t earn any free pizza EVER. So you have order online. Requesting additional sauce in the delivery directions box is futile. If you think you’re getting extra dip that way, you can fuggedabouddit. So you order online, and you expect 1 complimentary garlic sauce with your order. That’s WHATTHEYDO. THATSWHY we order Papa John’s. It’s not the stupid crust or the marinara or your special blend of cheeses. ITSTHESAUCE. THEGARLICDIP is why I order Papa John’s and I expect a complimentary one with a pizza. Period. You’d think if you selected«1» sauce at check out and spent $.75 extra, you’d get 2 sauces. And from any other Papa John’s location in the world — that would be true. Except this one, because they’re sauce nazis. If you select«1» sauce at check out, you get 1. The kicker? This is true even if you order two pies. If you order 2 pizzas and 1 garlic sauce from say, the Aberdeen location, you’d get 3 garlic sauces. If you order 2 pizzas and 1 garlic sauce from this location, you’d get 1 garlic sauce. As soon as you start forking over 3 quarters a pop for a cup of juice, they take away your free juice. I just don’t think it’s fair to take away my free sauce. I’m happy to pay for 1 to get 2, but I don’t want to pay for 1 to get 1 and it’s not fair to pay for 2 to get 2. Other than that, this location is a-ok.
