I’m no Indian food connoisseur so take this with a grain of salt(or rice), but I liked it. I don’t like spicy foods and I found everything at this buffet to be relatively mild and, thus, palatable. The service sucks. We came for lunch and there was only one guy clearing plates and getting the drinks/naan to the tables. I was done shoveling in my first plate of food before there was a coke in front of me. As such, on my second round, several of the buffet trays were already empty. In general, I’m not a fan of buffets. I don’t like feeling like I need to gorge to get my money’s worth, but boss man footed the bill(is there a past tense for this expression? I dunno. #immigrant), so yeah. I’m sure I’ll be back for some sort of work get together.

Best Indian cuisine in the area! The buffet offers many different options for lunch and is always fresh and delicious.

Delicious food. We ordered apps and naan, all of which were perfect and warm. Our main complaint was that the service was insanely slow. It took an hour and a half to get our main course. Our appetizers took about 30 minutes and then our main meal did not follow for another 45 minutes. Two rounds of tables around us received their food and left, so the good news is, this may not be a regular issue. We will be back to check it out for lunch.

Every time we come here we discover another treasure on the menu. Have never been disappointed and have always ordered well. My husband(who previously disliked Indian food) and I are regulars who come and enjoy not only the regular menu options — but the specials and for special occasions(like Valentine’s Day) the prefix offerings.

We ordered the lunch buffet today for the umpteenth time, and we walked away full and happy, as always. Fresh basmati rice, several vegetable dishes, moist tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala were highlights of the buffet. The service is always respectful and friendly, and our water glasses were never empty. Sizzling Bombay is the perfect place to unwind after the madness of holiday shopping and traffic.

Delivery took almost 3 hours. I kept calling and was assured it would be there within 10 – 15 minutes. Very poor customer service. Pad thai was very dry and luke warm by the time it arrived.

Just moved here from Cali, where I would eat some of the best Indian food at Little India and this place rocks! Amazing food! Amazing service! Super special birthday celebration(but I won’t spoil the surprise)!

Wow. Completely exceeded my expectations. No offense Bombay, but I totally thought that the reviews were too good to be true and would leave me feeling like this place was over hyped. My fave go-to spot for Indian food is Mt Everest in Perry Hall but this place is comparable and yet slightly set apart on its own. I took a risk because I usually wouldn’t take someone to a new place for their birthday, but I bought a Groupon and thought ‘let’s get crazy tonight!!!’ lol. As expected, you get a side of papadom with a trio of chutney as soon as you’re seated. Between the two of us we ordered the lamb vindaloo(level 7 spicy), half an order of tandoori chicken(get it with the yogurt sauce yumm), and the garlic and basil naan. I would come back here for that garlic and basil naan. It’s something that you can’t find at most Indian joints and they did it right! The tandoori chicken was a little less flavorful than I’m used to, but paired nicely with the vindaloo that had a super nice kick to it. The vindaloo was a tad saltier than most places I’ve had it but the flavors in the sauce pulled together so nicely. it was like a party in my mouth! I ordered mango lassi for the first time and I knew nothing about it but had heard about it before. I didn’t like it at first because it wasn’t what I was expecting but it grew on me and by the end of the night I had slurped it all down. The texture was a little thick reminding me of yogurt and it was tangy, sweet and a good complement to all the spice. Service was superb. They had a party of maybe 20+ and yet still had the time to check up on us frequently. They had no qualms about me bringing my own cake for dessert and brought out a cute headpiece for my aunt to wear while blowing out her candle. It was a sight to be seen but it was so fun. One of the male servers Nanda was extremely entertaining and super sweet! The only disappointment really was that they didn’t take my Groupon because it was a holiday(Veterans Day) which I hadn’t even noticed before I walked in. Oh well, turned out to be a good mishap and I would totally come back. Nanda told us they just opened up a place in White Marsh which is even closer to us. You’ll see me there in the near future!

Best Indian food in Harford County. Took a couple of years to realize they were there, but without a doubt, my favorite. There is only one other Indian restaurant that I competes, but in terms of location, this establishment will always come first due to close location.

Pretty solid Indian food, I was surprised considering the area. I opted for carry out and got the Garlic Coco Shrimp, Chicken Tikka, and Garlic Basil Naan. Food was ready pretty fast for a Friday night around 6:30pm. It looks really nice inside and the staff was very friendly. Loved the shrimp, the sauce it was in was SOGOOD– creamy and coconut-y. Chicken Tikka was awesome and the medium portion was enough for me to split with my boyfriend and feel full and happy. I was pleasantly surprised by this place and would definitely eat here again!

En route to Germantown MD, instead of stopping at a rest area we decide to take slight deviation to have Indian lunch. Loved the lunch buffet. Affordable and all the items were great. Loved the naan-Really soft. Tried only veggie stuff which was good. 1 star less since we didn’t like the appetizer.

I have been to many Indian restaurants and by far this is the best Indian restaurant. I have been here at lest 5 – 6 times so far and every single time i am very happy with food quality and taste!!!

A solid Indian food offering, especially for Harford county. I felt that the offerings here were better than India Garden, which has a more convenient location, it’s a tradeoff. This location is off of 924 in a very small shopping plaza. They have a lunch buffet, and if you’re in the area, I recommend trying it. You can also reserve space for events or large parties, and we were happy with the service the one time we did so.

I have been coming here for several years now and every time the food is delicious and the service is great. The people who work here are very attentive and friendly. They occasionally have belly dancing or live music, which is always entertaining.

I’d heard about this place for a while from reviewer Eric R. and finally had a chance to try it. Delicious, rich flavors. I got the chicken curry, garlic naan and palak paneer. Everything was really good, but the paneer was a real stand-out: thick and creamy with thin strips of raw ginger on top — some of the best I’ve had. The staff was really nice, and the tables were decorated with beautifully folded napkins in the shape of flowers blooming from each water glasses. Loved that.

This place is great! Love the food. I’ve dined in and had carryout. My favorite dish is the lamb and /or goat kadai. The flavor is just ridiculously savory! Love it. I also love the rice pudding.

Curry chicken was good, a bit soupy/runny. Spice was adequate at #7. Lamb Kadai, the lamb was chewy & tough, with no sauce to speak of. Service was slow but good. Honestly, probably will not return as Bombay Nights is far better tasting and closer– Perry Hall.

I’ve been going here since 2006, despite never having lived in the area. I come here whenever I go to APG for work. Do not hesitate based on the fact that it’s located in a plaza… The food stands up. Period. They offer a great lunch buffet with fresh naan, but come for dinner to have your socks knocked off. If you are more interested in an authentic preparation… Let them know… You won’t be disappointed. This is one of those places that I look forward to eating… No matter what city I’m coming from. The front of the house staff are fantastic as well, and work tirelessly to make sure your experience is positive. Spotless too!

I’m from the UK so I’ve had more Indian food than I care to remember good and bad and this is good Indian food folks. I’ve probably been through the menu over the years that the restaurant has been there, I have never done the buffet, in fact I mostly get take out. If you have never tried Indian food, then start with the staples which are Chicken TIkka Marsala or Chicken Korma. There are so many Indian restaurants in the UK, that Chicken Tikka Marsala is actually considered a British dish and is served everywhere, not just in Indian joints. It’s a spicy tomato based sauce and this place does it very well. A Korma is a creamy sauce and is relatively mild. Ask them to spice it up a notch. My faves are the Jalfrezi and the Vindaloo which about as hot as it gets. Make sure that you get Naan bread with whatever you get. I’ve never really had a bad meal from this place. Give it a try. You will love it.
