I really wanted to like this place. The concept seemed very appealing. I ordered a hot fudge sundae. Sorry we are all out hot fudge. (4:00pm on a Sunday)
O.K. Then how about a strawberry sundae with strawberry cheese cake ice cream and whipped cream. Sorry we are all out of whipped cream.
O.K. Then skip the whipped cream.
Sundae arrived, took a bite. Wrong ice cream. Decided not to tell my server, «Little Miss Grumpy Pants» for fear she might hurt me. (Looked like she didn’t want to be there”)
It looks like someone needed to be in charge.

Other than The Cool Spot, the market for quality ice cream in downtown Belfast has been opened to a variety of contenders. Dave’s Old Fashioned does well to provide great service in a tourist town while catering to locals as well.
