Small hole in the wall breakfast joint. had the Irish Benedict which was good. The Benedict sauce went super well with the corn beef hash. The wait time was not long and the service was good. My only issue was one of my egg was well overdone. And so was my friends eggs as well. Besides that good breakfast joint

Love the cheeseburger club. I also always get the house breakfast for breakfast.

Delicious breakfast and fun, old timer vibe. Biscuits and gravy was on point. Loved the little bar and watching them cook.

Down home traditional café diner — an original. Soda fountain seating, booths and tables. Hand painted murals in the walls. Cute décor. Friendly staff and large windows for light. Relaxed atmosphere. A lot of locals eating here — that gives one a good idea about the price and especially the quality of the food. The simplest dishes are cooked with extraordinary skill — flavors are wonderful and quantities are sufficient. I would be a regular here — if I lived in town — but will definitely eat here often when I’m visiting Belfast. Hey, it’s not wicked fancy, but it’s downright wicked good.

Been eating here for years, but the past few times the service has been horrible. Was seated promptly, but the waitress seemed very put off when I asked for a couple of more minutes. I always get the eggs bennies and figured I’d try something different. Huge mistake! Ordered the platter #2. Eggs came back hard although I ordered over easy. My toast was not buttered and my coffee had one sip left when my food was delivered. After 20 minutes with no attention from the 3 staff that kept walking hurriedly by my breakfast companion walked up to the counter in the main room and asked for butter. I had two bites of my entire breakfast left when the waitress arrived and asked if I needed anything so I asked for more coffee and more water. I ate my entire breakfast without any drink. The water arrived a short time later and I was asked if that would be it in which I replied«that coffee would be great!» Upon paying the tab the woman that cashed me out said the top copy was theirs and then she walked off. Didn’t even say Ty, have a nice day or even see me sign the receipt. Will NEVER go back. Two big thumbs down.

Arrived for breakfast at around 10:20 on a Friday with a family of 6. Ordered our food right away. It was busy-ish, but not packed. A full 45 minutes later, our waitress hadn’t been back to our table even ONE time — not even to refill water and coffee. My mom finally stood up and went over to our waitress to see if our food was almost ready. Come to find out, it hadn’t even been STARTED yet. She said there was a problem in the kitchen. Fine. We’re understanding people. But to not even come over to refill drinks and let us know it would be a while is just unacceptable. The waitresses were essentially avoiding their tables in order to prevent having to deliver bad news. My mom asked to just cancel the order. At this point, you would assume our drinks would at least be comped. NOPE! This was probably the worst dining experience I’ve had in in the area. Go to Chase’s, the Co-Op, Dot’s in Lincolnville, ANYWHERE but this place!

This is the first place that I can get four berry pancakes, and they are SO good. I LOVE it here. The pancakes are amazing, and taste like dessert. Great for me, who has a big sweet tooth. I will be coming back.

Traci’s Diner was a great first place to stop for breakfast upon arrival in Belfast… great service, warm, delicious breakfast and a clear sense of community … A great insight into this historical community and it’s people. I had the Number 1 plate — simple scrambled eggs, 3 links w/potatoes and raisin bread… nothing fancy and done just right … This is a perfect place to grab a quick breakfast!

Ok… This place is the bomb. My son and I went there over a year ago and it was such a memorable breakfast. I had to bring my partner there on our second trip to Maine. It was everything and more. The grilled veggies in the omelette with the great white cheese is to die for. The grilled or baked potatoes for the breakfast were so flavorful that they didn’t need salt or ketchup! The waitress is a little thing that was moving at the speed of light. The place is just a great diner and unbelievable prices!

0826 Monday. Walked in and waited with two other parties of two people ahead of me. From where I stood I could see 6 uncleared open tables. I waited as did the others. 0837 a young girl with a great big attitude sat the the first party that waited then she came back and sat the next party was sat. I waited. Finally the girl with the attitude asked me(as I stood by myself) how many? Just me. She sighs and points to the table that is the waiting area. Seeing other open tables I point to a table in the side dining room and ask her if I can wait for that table to be cleaned. She sighed and said«fine». I wait as she brings things to other tables with her stellar customer service and then she decides to clear the table I ask to sit at. She walks up to me and says«you can go sit now». No escort, no menu, just attitude. After a couple minutes she decides to bring me a menu. At this point I sit and read the menu. No server. I wait. The hostess sits another table. Waitress walks past me, twice. She asks for a drink order from this new table. I wait and watch. One of the other parties that was sat about five minutes before me still have their menus. The table that was just sat now has coffee. The other party has water. Waitress walks past me, again. At 8:40 I am over it and leave. I won’t be back.

Very little reason to have to wait 15 minutes for a table in a half full restaurant. Wait for menus. Wait to order. Wait for food. Wait to pay. Again, if it was slammed and the food was top notch, understood. It’s standard diner fare though. Pass.

I don’t understand the terrible reviews some people have written about this restaurant. We arrived in Belfast by sailboat and went looking for a place to have breakfast. As we walked by Traci’s we asked a local couple coming out if the breakfast was good. They said it was THE place to go for breakfast. It was about 9am on a Thursday. We were seated right away(pick your own table). Service was quick and attentive. The breakfast was absolutely great. I had the Meat Lover’s Omelet. It came with toast and delicious home fries that were good sized chunks of potatoes cooked just the right level of well done that I like. Everyone else in our party of four loved the breakfast. Sure, it’s not the fanciest looking place but it was clean inside and nicely decorated with colorful bird houses all over the ceiling. We saw some people waiting for a table but they were seated in a few minutes. The staff was friendly. There was nothing to complain about. We will definitely go back next time we visit.

Coming from New Jersey, diners are a dime a dozen so I tend to be critical. Having already having 1 bad experience in Belfast, I was hoping the experience here would be better. While the décor is lacking and needs to be updated, the food and service was good.

Stopped in to Traci’s one morning on vacation for breakfast. I had a full meal– pancakes, eggs, ham. All really tasty. Nothing out of this world or mind-blowing, but good. This felt very much like a local joint. We were seated in the upper section near the counter and a lot of people who came in seemed to know each other or the folks who were working there. I have to say, my favorite part of this place may have been the décor. There were big frames with records in them-mostly from the 80s and early 90s. It was great. I took pictures. We’d go back if we were in the area!

We ate here due to the positive reviews on Unilocal. What a mistake! Friday morning, 9:00 a.m. We walk in. There are a number of open tables. We are told that the only table is the one right by the door because it’s the only one that’s set. Um, setting a table here means putting down a thin napkin and a fork, knife and spoon. But, okay. We sit down and look at the menu. We order. We get our coffee. Decent. We wait for our meal. We had both ordered a house specialty – potato cakes topped with eggs and gravy. I ordered mine with a homemade biscuit. We also got a side of blueberry pancakes to share. We wait a while. In the mean time, hordes of hungry people come in. There are open tables, but they aren’t set. So these people wait. Our coffee cups are empty. But we haven’t seen our waiter since we gave our order. Foo. Our food comes! Yay! And we get coffee refills! Yay! The food tastes… not so good. The potato cakes have bit of raw-tasting potatoes in them. And raw onions. First, I hate onions in my food. Second, there was NOTHING in the description that said the cakes had onions in them. Bad! But even worse, the homemade biscuit was made by a baker with the delicacy of a bull in a china shop. Giant, yes. But it had the consistency and flavor of sawdust. It’s really apparent that they don’t taste their food, and that their cook believes that ‘half gooey’ is the right texture for blueberry pancakes. Maybe they were supposed to be goo-berry pancakes. The only thing that was tasty was the sausage gravy. But other than that, Traci’s diner delivers horrible food with lackluster service. We had to hunt down our waiter for the check. We never had anyone check on the food(probably because they knew it was bad). Skip this place. It’s hard to mess up breakfast, but Traci’s does it, and serves it up with a sneer.

A small little diner in Belfast, Maine. OK, so the wife and I are on vacation. If you’re like me and hate those«continental breakfast» things that the hotel offers and you don’t want to pay hotel breakfast menu prices… what do you do ? Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and always seems to be an issue when travelling. Well, the hotel manager actually recommended this little diner in town and we LOVED it !!! Wife had bacon and eggs. I had this amazing dish of eggs, hashbrown casserole which had sausage cooked into it and the entire dish smothered in wonderfully delicious sausage gravy. Sausage gravy is a white, slightly peppery gravy which most restaurants begrudgingly wave some sausage at. Not so here !! The gravy actually had sausage in it and was wonderfully delicious. Complimenting the breakfast was a light and fluffy house-made biscuit which was perfect for sopping up the last of that gravy !!! I wish all our vacations had some place nice like Traci’s t to start our day !!!

Stopped in for breakfast one morning while on vacation. I was jonesing for some blueberry pancakes and sausage and they delivered splendidly. Clean and efficient restaurant. But there’s so much more. The best part is the tribute to early 80’s pop stars! Giant pictures of Lionel Ritchie, Madonna, Tina Turner, etc… in all of their big hair-80’s glossiness, overlooking the place from every wall. Outstanding!

We stopped by Traci’s Diner for a quick breakfast/lunch. A typical diner type atmosphere, clean and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick, we were in and out in 30 minutes. We ordered blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey club, and unsweetened ice teas. Honestly the best blueberry pancake we have sampled in years, fresh, packed full of blueberries, sweet, crispy and caramelized on the edges, The turkey club was made with fresh turkey, it was delicious! The iced tea was freshly brewed, very refreshing. The only thing that would have made it better is if they served their pancakes with real maple syrup.
