Famished working next door today and Kent the chef his-​self whipped up a loaded lobster roll. The delivery system was a buttered gently toasted New England style hot dog roll and just enough mayo with tiny crispy chunks of celery.

Fast, good and cheap. My kind of lunch spot! What THE GAZEBO lacks in size it makes up for in convenience. Just over the bridge on Route One in Belfast and right on your way to Acadia National Park. Stop, stretch your legs, visit the shops (Perry’s Nut House and Bennett’s Gems & Jewelry) and enjoy a yummy fresh Maine lobster or crab roll or a freshly toasted (real) chicken salad sandwich… for three bucks it beats fast food! And there is a nice view of Penobscot Bay… how’s that for ambiance?
