Average diner .huge dinning room and menu selection… food is okay so is the service…24 hours is a place specially on late night… parking lot ;) too

Triple crown is a nice family diner with some solid diner food. They get the basics right and their service is friendly. If they’re crowded the food sometimes takes a while to come out, but that’s to be expected. Even when they are busy you can be seated pretty quickly. The parking lot is a beast on its own though, and that can give people the illusion that the place is packed. That’s because people here can’t park. On numerous occasions I’ve encountered a car taking up 3 spots, come on people.

Love them! When I lived closer, dinner at the TCD was a weekly Saturday evening tradition. I always ordered their amazing chicken francese. Dinner comes complete with salad and dessert. Their house salad with french dressing and a side of fresh warm bread was a meal in itself. Would top the meal with a cup of cappuccino with a piece of their creamy, rich, delicious cheesecake. Love the atmosphere — very warm, friendly and family-​like. cannot wait to dine there in the near future.

I stopped here after a business meeting on the island and what a gem! The menu was extensive, portions huge and desserts fabulous. I was eyeing up a pastry as I was leaving and the owner insisted I take one with for the baby (I’m 6 months pregnant). I’ll always remember how kind they were and will make a point to stop again.

Good location, great service and prices are very reasonable. Food wasn’t too bad, and I would definitely visit again.

Food is excellent as always. Management is especially nice. Thought I lost my wallet and some other craziness. One of the owners went above and beyond when I got my key stuck in the ignition. Thanks so much!

Nothing as good as diner food. But the problem is, because it’s so good it seems like it takes forever! Yes there was a bit of a wait for my food and the place wasn’t packed (it was 2a after Halloween so that’s why they get 4 stars for the wait on my food) I had calamari, which was pretty much the best calamari I think I’ve ever had. And I also had chicken Quesadillas which were to die for! Every single bite was full of goodness. Yum. And I had a cup of hot chocolate which was so good, with extra whip cream. The staff was nice and friendly, always smiling.
My friend ordered some breakfast platter which she was very happy with. She couldn’t finish it but said it was just as good as it was the day before.

Stop 20 dinner food is much better then this place and so is the service. Food came out extremely fast so I know it was not freshly made. I had two eggs scrambled with burnt turkey bacon and seasonless home fries. My boyfriend had the Belgian waffle (half decent) asked for strawberries and was given some crappy can strawberry preservatives burnt turkey bacon and toast. Would not come here for brunch. Although the place was pack on a Sunday I would be fooled! Food is trash.

Great neighborhood diner, located in Bellerose Terrace NY. It is your typical diner so I wouldn’t go ordering a five star dinner, try sticking with their breakfast and lunch specials. You will be immediately seated the second you walk inside. I would say nothing takes longer then ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes to get your food and it’s always hot!
If you somehow make it to the diner after 11:00 pm though it is a completely different story. This must be the local hot spot for the munchies. Expect it to be a little loud (depending on what day of the week it is) and the waiters will have you in and out as fast as possible.

I’ve been here many times over the years just because it is really close to my house. I’ve never had a bad experience or a good experience. It was just always okay.
There’s nothing on their menu that sets them apart from your average diner. The service is mediocre and so is the food. I liked their grilled cheese sandwich and their hot wings.
If you’re going late at night prepare for a LONG wait. The pricing is kind of up there for a diner as well. However, if you’re hungry and it’s late it’s not a bad spot to check out.

What can I say… I’m not thrilled but I’m not going to complain. It was edible and I guess that’s ok.
I had a well done burger. I like my burgers medium well but I did not feel like taking a chance on E-​Coli tonight. You know the little voice that speaks to you… mine was screaming at me.
Water was great. Sometimes it’s the best thing on the menu.
Will not return.

This diner is an anomoly!
For all the many years that I have eaten in NYC diners this is the first tme that on the burger deluxe they give french fries and onion rings! It is always french fries and then you can substitute or pay more for onion rings.Impressive.
Food was good quality, onion rings good and cole slaw above average. Good free butter cookies on the way out. Dinerlicious.

This is a great place for a simple breakfast. I live close to this area and it’s nice to have somewhere cozy and clean to go to. The employees are friendly and attentive. It can get busy but they do the best they can.
The coffee is really good here, idk what they add to it but I instantly get a crazy rush. I usually get home fries, eggs over easy, toast, bacon, and waffle/​pancake. I’m fat, I know. Every thing is always good. I also get fries and a side of gravy. TRY IT!!!
I’ve gone here multiple times, great quick stop or a Sunday breakfast spot.

I had been to the diner once before and I remember it being really good. The food for the most part, was good and the portions were large. My only problem with this place is the fact that the wait staff were a bit slow and we ended up waiting 20 minutes for the check. We eventually got up and went to pay at the front. We had to ask for more coffee and water for tea opposed to them coming around and offering like a lot of other places do. All-​in-​all, it’s a nice diner and I’d still go back again.

Second time coming here and this place is great for an early breakfast. They have a wide selection of items and they offer free coffee refills.
I really love coming here ! I come here only when I am in long island for work and its well worth the car ride here !

Great neighborhood diner! I don’t live in the area but I’ve been here quite a few times with a friend that does and we’ve had a great experience every time. Triple crown is fairly big and almost always packed but they are so efficient that I’ve never had to wait to be seated. The portions are big, the prices are fair, and the service is top-​notch!
I’ve had their french onion soup and it’s delicious. However, I need to point out that it’s not your standard french onion soup… there’s a hint of something else in it, can’t pinpoint what it is but I want to say it has more of an Indian flavor. Regardless it’s very, very good (even though I look Indian, I don’t eat Indian food that often, nor do I have a spicy palate).
Mozzarella sticks are amazing. Turkey reuben is amazing. Salads are amazing. The grilled chicken portion that comes with the salads are HUGE (see photos). Everything I’ve ever tried here is quality, very satisfying, and well worth it. Definitely one of the better diners I’ve been to and I will continue to come back.

A regular diner with OK food and overpriced. I got one egg with cheese and bacon and it cost 8.10!!! Service slow and not very friendly.

I normally don’t give low ratings but this place was disappointing. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette. Both the spinach and mushrooms were NOT FRESH. They use pre-​chopped frozen spinach and mushrooms from a can. I would have thought they would use fresh vegetables. Apparently I have to ask for fresh vegetables. That’s what the manager told me.
Even the juice at Triple Crown was from a bag. I won’t be returning.

Love this neighboring diner. Comes here often especially when it calls for a simple celebration. Tonight is no exception.
Hubby tried their liver steak. It comes with onions. I had their chicken gyro with fries on the side. Both of us enjoyed our meal. My husband was surprised on the way they cooked the liver, tender and juicy. I myself had no complaint of my gyro. The price is unbelievably favorable.
Service was fast, direct and courteous. Place is huge and noticed that there is room always for every visit no matter how crowded it is.
Will keep coming back.
