long story short, love the pizza hate the people (except delivery men)… charged $ 2 for red pepper flakes after placing a $ 30 order… gave snarky answer when asked about the unreasonable charge for pepper flakes… Customer service should be a high priority coming from a place where great pizzas not hard to find…

Been going here for years. Food never disappoints and for a great price. The chicken parm is really good, and the sandwiches are great

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is really good & it has enough space inside to sit and eat comfortably. The pizza is good, but by far they have amazing sandwiches. The chicken and broccoli rabe sandwich is delicious. I don’t like how they can be inconsistent with their delivery times. They tell you 20 minutes and the guys shows up 45 minutes later. It’s not always like that though. I’ll still eat here :)

I used to love Gino’s. It was my favorite pizzeria growing up and I have went here for over 25 years. The people who worked there have changed and I always got extra marinara sauce with my dinner and was never charged. The last two times they charged me $ 3 for it and I just thought to myself wow, 20 $ for eggplant Parmesan and some extra marinara and the person who now works there did something pretty messed up to a family member and there’s just no morals. I can’t go back there while that person is working there anymore and to know that they all knew what was going on is just too much for me especially since it almost ruined my family. Not anymore, actually never again. I thought those guys were my friends.

Delicious Pizza each and ever time. I usually get a small pie and hot hero when I order and the taste never disappoints. On a few occasions, I’ve had a sit down meal in the small but cozy dining room. I’m not into décor and don’t typically care that much as long the food and the service are good. Check out the menu and try for yourself. Typical North Jersey Italian Pizzeria but a cut above some others.

Average pizza. Wouldnt go out of my way to get it. Counter service is terrible. There are so many other pizza places in the area. Today was no different, so i walked out and went to another place in Nutley, right down the street. I wont be back.

Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. The pizza is really good! I ordered a large pie and a large Italian sandwich, it came at a reasonable time, the driver was friendly AND the food was delicious. I’ve been eating here for years and this place never disappoints!

I’m always on the prowl for a good Italian restaurant and pizzeria. About a year ago, I was in an elevator with a now former member of the New York Giants. He was carrying a pizza box and a few bags with Italian food. So, being the inquisitive person that I am, I struck up a conversation and asked him where the delicious smelling food came from. His response, Gino’s Pizzeria in Belleville.
Fast forward a year, and we finally made it to Gino’s for dinner one evening. We decided to try entrées instead of pizza. I had one of the specials, Gnocchi with Chicken and Pesto Sauce and my husband had Ziti with Meat Sauce. Both dishes were massive and there was enough food left over for another meal. We both really liked our respective dishes. We were also given a basket of bread and butter to start.
The waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive. Our drinks were refilled before they were even empty.
I’m looking forward to returning to try the pizza and the rest of the menu.

Hands down the best pizza in Belleville! There are lots of other pizza spots around but none as good as Ginos. The whole sandwiches can feed a family and are tasty and priced right.

In the mood for great pizza or awesome baked ziti with meat sauce in Belleville? Gino’s got ya covered. Awesome food, great prices, friendly service and yes delivery folks. Average cost per person varies but I’ll wing it and guess $ 9-​$ 15 per person.
Here’s a quick list of things we love from Gino’s:
— Margarita and Pepperoni pies.
— Rock shrimp. A lovely buttery and garlicky shrimp dish. Awesome for proteins only on a cheat day.
— Baked ziti w/​meat sauce. What’s not love with pasta, cheesy cheese and meat sauce? This pasta dish is awesome and makes for great leftovers.
— Penne a la vodka with chicken. Good sauce and plenty of chicken, simply seasoned.
Gino’s has never disappointed us regarding flavors, portions, service and delivery time frames. They also stay open pretty late, matter of fact later than their competitors I believe. We mainly order takeout here, but they also have tables in case you’d like to dine in. I believe they can accommodate a small group of 4 – 8 and still have enough seats for 2 – 3 couples.
One of these days we will dine in and as you can tell we will continue to be loyal patrons here as everything is pretty darn good. Enjoy folks!

One of the best pizza places around! Prices are pretty average and the amount of food you get is phenomenal. I had the shrimp parm and it was amazing! They always give me a lot of bread with any dinner order or salad which is great. If you’re Italian you know what I’m talking about!

I’ve been going to this place since I moved to Belleville a few years ago and every time it’s worse. Not so much the food which I have to say is AVERAGE but the customer service/​counter help. Many of the girls are rude and unprofessional including the owner who doesn’t even greet you as you come in. Despite this I continued to order ONLY take out from this place until today. I placed an order for delivery — 1 chicken parm (for me) and 1 eggplant parm (for my fiancé). Delivery time was decent. As my fiancé cuts into her supposed eggplant parm she realizes it’s chicken parm instead. I decide to call back while my fiancé finishes the piece she cut into because well she was really hungry. The girl answers the phone and I explain the mistake. Instead of an apology I get a, «Well I read the order back to you and you said it was OK.» Um, no you couldn’t have read it back to me because I wouldn’t have OK’ed 2 chicken parms. She must have realized she made the mistake and quickly says «Oh you ordered the eggplant parm with the salad. Hang on». Still no apology… instead she comes back on the phone and says, «Did you eat any of the chicken parm?» WTF!!! Why yes I did!!! My fiancé cut into it thinking it was eggplant parm and ate the piece she cut! How else would she have known it was or wasn’t eggplant parm. At this point, it’s taking a lot of self control not to get pissed off but the smart girl on the other end says, «I understand. We’ll send you the eggplant parm but you’ll have to send back the chicken parm.» I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING! Never received an apology by the way. Eggplant parm arrives 15 min later. Awesome because now my fiancé is starving. We’re eating and my cellphone rings. It’s Gino’s calling. 2 rings and it stops (she must have realized it wasn’t a good idea to call a customer back to question them about anything when they made the mistake) before I could get to the phone. I should have listened to my fiancé and not called back but at this point I’m fuming and call back. After about 7 rings (I’m sure they didn’t want to pick up when they saw my number) a customer friendly lady answers (enter sarcastic tone here). She has the audacity to say, «Yeah, I noticed you ate a lot of the chicken parm that was returned.» Yup I flipped out. How quickly we change our tone. «It’s OK sweetie. I just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong that’s why I called back. No the manager’s in the back he can’t come to the phone right now. There’s no problem». What a difference from the lady who answered the phone a few minutes ago. We will NEVER order from this place again. Gino’s you just lost a customer of 7 years because of your TERRIBLE customer service!!!

I tried this pizza place for the first time today.
The food– the food was ok. I ordered the scrimp scampi. The sauce didn’t have much flavor. The shrimp were fairly large. The garlic knots were nothing special, it could have used more garlic. The rigatoni was really good! And I also ordered the cannoli, which was excellent. All portions were large and very filling. Overall the food was average.
The delivery man was really nice. There was a mistake on our order and he took it back. He also apologized for the long wait.
On the other hand, the counter girl was rude and unprofessional. First when I called she rushed me. Fine it’s busy. But when she gave me the price it seemed very high. I called back and asked for the prices. She failed to tell me about the extra pasta dish. I just assumed there was a high delivery charge. I returned the extra item with the driver. She called me back and was very rude, telling me I ordered it and hung up on me. Very nasty attitude.

Best Italian food and pizza in Belleville. I worked here for 3.5 of my 4 years of undergrad. The Staff is wonderful (esp Steph & Vito) and Joe the owner is a good guy who does right by his customers. Nice dining room/atmosphere…Oh and there is a liquor store directly across the street.

One of my favorite pizza spots around! Great flavor with decent prices. It is the right balance of cheese and sauce. The crust is not too thick, which makes it perfect to devour a few slices in a sitting.
I’ve tried a few of their specialty pizzas which are great too. One of my favorites is the bruchetta pizza and white pizza. Don’t forget their garlic knots too.
They do other Italian specialties and have a decent sized seating area inside. Sadly, parking is hit or miss in this area and delivery takes an eternity, so just bring a friend when you come pick up your pizza. All in all this is a great alternative for a casual dinner.

Went for the first time with coworker.
Very good menu selections. I went with the Chicken Cavatelli with Broccoli and Garlic.
Was brought a basket that had excellent warm bread.
My plate or should I say deep dish, was brought out with a very generous portion of pasta. It was an excellent combination with full garlic flavor that was not overwhelming, and perfectly cooked broccoli.
I had to ask for more bread to soak up the tasty sauce.
It will be difficult to go with something else in the future, but I will try and post updated review.
Even though it is on the small size, there were plenty of tables.
The owners daughter served us and was very friendly and courteous. She recommended the dish to me when I was torn between several.
Definitely a return trip soon.
