We have eaten here often but only for breakfast. The waitresses are very friendly and willing to accommodate changes in your order. The breakfast is good but the hash browns are not cooked well enough for me. I asked for the Senior discount and when they were Honey Tree they would let me pay for the whole table using the discount, now they are Leo’s and even though I am paying for the whole table only 2 breakfasts were discounted. I liked the previous policy which made me and our family come back. We will go to L George’s in Canton, better food, better discount.

great prices, incredibly fast service, friendly staff. I was there in the middle of the afternoon, so there were not a lot of customers. I ordered a gyro and the lemon rice soup. The soup was wonderful and the gyro was pretty good. Honey Tree is very easy to find from I-94, has good parking and is very clean. I’ll be visiting again.

Food tastes like 2 day old leftovers. This place is suffering from lack of business — the food is not fresh. Wife and I had two gyro plates. Starter salad was not fresh and had tasteless chick peas and wilted lettuce. Gyro meat was probably sliced a day or two earlier and then reheated on the flat top grill — Overcooked and tasteless. Limp fries were probably only 20 minutes old — yuck. Vegetables were so salty that they were inedible. We probably should have sent everything back, but were rushed to meet friends. I did let the waitress know that food was mediocre and that we didn’t need boxes for almost two plates of food when asked. She agreed that the vegetables at this place are too salty. Our waitress was nice and attentive — Probably another reason I didn’t complain. Place was huge, clean, and empty. Bathroom was clean. Probably should be 1.5 stars because the waitress was nice and building clean. Eat at Dimitris Or one of the chains down the street if you want greasy and easy that is at least fresh.

The owners are so kind. Extremely clean Don’t even try to eat two fully loaded coney dogs and fries. You will burst!

My wife and I love this place. Great service, fresh food and great atmosphere. I only wish more people would come to show small town restaurants are better than national food chains. I love their salads while my wife loves the Mediterranean food. We have brought friends and they have been returning too. P. S. Great BREAKFASTS!!!

This place is super close to my house and is a reliable restaurant a step up from a diner. There are Honey Trees just about everywhere and I find them to be an ok choice for the most part. My fave thing in here is the chicken stir fry. Lots of fresh veggies and sliced chicken in a nice teriyaki glaze over rice. The athenian half chicken works too. Both are plenty filling and I generally take half home. My parents both like when they feature lamb shank and my dad is hooked on the sauce they put on the rice. I myself don’t get the sauce’s appeal but I have been known to dump tzaziki on my rice instead. The gyro stuff in here is just ok but I am picky. I think the sandwiches are basic, not bad but nothing I am going to bother typing out. I usually upgrade my salad with any meal to a greek. I love the sweet-ish pink dressing and they give you a ton of feta, nice olives, spicy pepperocini and two thick slices of beets. The tomato is usually bland though. I have had the chicken lemon rice soup a few times too and found it pretty good. They have a good bread basket with soft bread with a bit of a firm crust and crunchy sesame breadsticks. Occasionally I will get a rice pudding here and with some whipped cream it works. Solid, standard and comfortable fare.
