I came here to buy some flowers for my sister as a graduation gift. I bought two bouquets and asked them to combine them as a big one. They did a horrific job!!! That guy only used one paper to wrap them up and did not make it look organized and nice. The bow was poorly tied. Not to mention the paper was ridiculously wrinkled. By the time I gave the bouquet to my sister, the paper was almost ripped! I was so mad and disappointed ! Since it was a big day for my sister! I will never ever come back again!

Expensive. Small. But I enjoy their wine and beer selections. Also, the wing bar is enjoyable as well, but I think you need to get your timing right, because if you come towards the end of the day, the wings are dry and chewy (not in a good way). They could also invest in some new tongs, because I’ve almost burned my hands trying to stock up on wings, or it was the universe’s way of telling me to say no. Obviously I didn’t listen.

I continue to be seriously underwhelmed by this store.
Located in Bellevue’s Eastgate area, just south of I-​90, in a dowdy strip mall, this Albertson’s feels and looks outdated and run-​down, like a throwback from the 70’s.
Perhaps I’m spoiled, as I’m used to larger, more contemporary grocery stores, with larger selections of everything, but this store has a noticeably smaller inventory of nearly everything I buy for my family. Yes, there’s a salad bar, but the rest of the deli department — especially concerning its ready-​made meals — is severely lacking. Ditto for the bakery. I saw today a cute display of cupcakes on a three-​tiered display plate; from a distance, I thought the adorable cupcakes were plastic, as they were decorated like slider hamburgers (on the top tier), and like sundaes on a lower tier, with small sundae spoons in each one. When I approached the cupcakes, however, I saw that there were NOT plastic, they were actual, unwrapped cupcakes, that people had handled, with finger indentations and hand dents in many of them. Who leaves iced cakes out for people to touch (perhaps even taste? I mean, who knows what the public did to these cupcakes? And wouldn’t they attract bugs? Grossed me out).
For such a older, dated store, you’d think they’d attract and/​or keep customers coming back here by offering great prices on their merchandise. But no! The prices of everything I checked out today were the same or higher than the QFC by my house. Only a few sale items offered a lower price than other stores, but these items were few and far between.
Whenever I’ve purchased food or wine here, the cashiers all have been courteous but I wouldn’t say any were overtly friendly or warm. Just business-​like.
I’ve always found it odd that this grocery store is just a few blocks west of a large synagogue, yet they carry so few Jewish foods. Today I was in the market for some Passover foods and all this store had was one small end cap at the rear of the store with just a few basic items (ex., matzo and gefilte fish and a few other staples). Not much. Come on, Mr. Albertson’s! You have more Jews visiting your store than the QFC and Safeway by my home combined, yet these stores carry a TON more Passover foods! It defies any sense to me. I guess I’ll have to go back to the Mercer Island Albertson’s to do my annual Passover order.
My last gripe about this store concerns the parking lot. They have these unconventional pedestrian crosswalks painted on the ground: they are narrow, and going in diagonal directions from the store entryways, and people just walk on these diagonal yellow-​striped narrow «walkways» without checking to see if cars are coming from down any of the parking aisles. Today I was literally halfway turned around a corner as I was attempting to exit the lot when a woman, pushing a shopping cart, just walked right out the store and into the diagonal crossway without looking. I was smack dab in the middle of turning into this main «artery» to exit, my wheels just a foot or so from this wacky crosswalk, and she just stepped into the path of my moving car! I think these pedestrian crosswalks are a hazard and should be re-​painted to be wider, and to emanate in 90 degree angles (i.e., go straight across the artery, as all crosswalks do). The way they are now, it’s a hazard.

I’ve had great luck with this store! Employees are always friendly and helpful. If I can’t find something, they generally walk me right to the item. It is admittedly a small store so they don’t carry everything you might find in a larger grocery, but they definitely make good use of the space they have. Great wine sales and selection!

It’s probably bad to sum things up to one statement, but the cashier made a racist remark to me after I complained about him taking too much time (chatting to his co-​workers, no less).
The employee was a fella named Kah and is somehow a supervisor. Classy store, classy organization.

They have these really good cookies that I like, but this store is always dirty and it’s kind of gross, to be honest.

It is difficult to give a grocery store like this much higher than a 3 star. The pros are that the folks here are always friendly, eager to help, and prices are decent on most things. They have gotten rid of their card system, so you no longer have to type that in.
The cons are that quality is average. I generally buy most everything here (because average is my budget :)), but then get my meats at Metropolitan or Whole Foods.
This is definitely my go to store, easy to park, easy to make a quick trip, and I like the people here.
Note that they are starting to carry more vegan/​vegetarian options, but you still have to watch closely. For example, the vegetarian cheese contains milk — that just seems odd to me…

This grocery store is close to where I live and convenient… Yet the people who work here are generally rude, the produce is rotting and the prices are about average. I’d skip this grocery store and drive a few miles away to Mathews Thriftway in Lakemont, or QFC or Safeway in Factoria, all much better and less frustrating than the Eastgate Albertsons. Do yourself a favor and skip this store.

Blech. This Albertson’s is way high priced. There is never any one on the floor when I have questions, which seems often, since signage will be missing or they will be out of things (where do all your bagels go by 6:30 in the morning?!) The chicken here always smells funny– they have a chicken wings bar, mostly minus the wings, so think deep-​fried chicken chunks. Bland, icky, boring and gross looking deli. I can’t blame the deli people, they just make what they are told, but seriously, there is a reason Albertson’s went bankrupt if this is what they were cookin’. It’s no longer 1985, but Albertson’s seems to think so.
There is a business park across the street, which is the only reason this place is still open. I think most people who live in the ‘hood go down to QFC. The selection here is poor for a lot of things, from fruit, vegetables, flour, and even frozen dinners, and as I mentioned before, high-​priced. Drive down to Factoria on 38^th for cheaper deals at Safeway and QFC.

I stopped in today on the way home looking for two items that we ran out of. The sales clerk at the front desk pointed me perfectly in the right direction, was polite, and I found exactly what I was looking for with his help. While there I signed up for an Albertson’s card because it was so painless and easy to find what I was looking for.
Young man, I regret not catching your name, but you made my day that little bit easier, and it was exactly what I needed when I needed it. Thank you.

I hardly ever go to this Albertsons even though it is in Bellevue. It is not really all that far away from my house, but the fact that it is across I-​90 makes it seem farther away than it is.
It is located in a shopping center in the Eastgate area alongside a Rite Aid. This store had a renovation not too long ago which has brightened it up a little. But it is still a relatively smaller store. The one on Mercer Island is bigger and my preferred Albertsons location. My visit a few days ago reminded me why I don’t come here very often. They don’t have what I am looking for.
Out of the three items from their weekly circular that I visited this store for, they were out of every single one. It is a burden to visit this Albertsons given there are so many good grocery stores nearby.
I did find a couple items that were worth purchasing, even though I didn’t come here for them. The jalapeño cheese breadsticks here are delicious. And at least they have self checkout lines to get in and out of the store quickly. But this store needs to do a better job of keeping items in stock if I am going to give them another shot.

Clean, stocked, with lots of options. Large produce selection for such a small-​ish store and the prices can’t be beat (at least not around here). Employees are always helpful, smiling and friendly. I love that this store is practically around the corner from me. They also have a great beer and wine section :))

Tiniest store I have been in, BUT… they do pack it all in.

I usually come to this Albertsons after work since its on the way home and let me tell you you… RUDE employees! I won’t go into every single bad experience but today stopped the cake for bad. I went in during my lunch break to get new Lotto tickets and check my old ones the lady at the «customer service» counter rang up my tickets and I paid her, then asked if she would check my tickets and she said «no I can’t you will need to go to the end of my counter to do that I am way to busy to do that» there one one person behind me that wanted lotto and she say and visited with him for a good 4 minutes while I couldn’t get my tickets to scan. Mean while no one else ever did come through her line. When I left she was still flirting/​chatting with the customer.

How can you hate on little Albertsons?
Of the grocery stores in the area (competition includes QFC and Safeway in Factoria, DT Bellevue, and Lake Hills), this Albertsons HAS SAMPLES! (In the bakery, deli, and/​or produce section).
The produce is average. Their day-​old bakery items are typically plentiful.
Lines aren’t ever bad — especially with the self-​service lanes open.
And they have an instant coffee machine!

This is the closest grocery store to my house, but we primarily shop at Trader Joes (cheaper and healthier) and we only come here if we need one or two things and have to go buy it really quick, which this store is good for. They have pretty good deals when things are on sale though.
Some people working are a bit unfriendly. Some of them seem like they are in a bad mood and roll their eyes at helping other people. But there are a lot of nice people working at the deli and butcher and there are nice cashiers too. But with the coinstar machine, the guy helping us didn’t seem happy that he had to open the safe and get change for us. And people at the self check out seem a bit annoyed sometimes when people need help.

ATTN: I-​90 drivers.
Do you need to make a grocery pit stop? Here it is! I needed some chips en route to a party and this was perfect.

Being here is like being in some strange post apocalyptic market. There never appears to be anyone actually working here and the shoppers are all zombie-​ing about looking for some one to help them find something or fill a deli order.
How about somebody get to the register before I just walk out with 30 dollars worth of over-​priced crap. Seriously… terrible customer service!

Really good fried chicken. (Yes, it DOES vary, a lot, from store to store!) And the store personnel are really friendly, contrary to some other reviews.
The parking lot is truly terrible, but there are always spaces — just not right in the area in front of the store. Their handicapped carts are always charged, which is a big plus for someone like me.

This Albertson’s was remodeled a few years ago, which made it better… it REALLY was kind of ghetto before they redid it. The same cashiers have been there for years and years; I know three of them from 2002, at least. They are friendly and fast. I like that!
Albertson’s runs hot and cold for me. Their normal prices are too high. Their sale prices are great. So… I shop the sales and only buy those things. I usually end up at Target, QFC, Safeway and/​or Trader Joe’s for the rest. I shop the sales circulars and since they’re all within three miles of home, tend to hit one every other day or so to keep us stocked up.
There’s nothing special about this smallish store except those cashiers. If it’s in your neighborhood or on your way, bonus! Otherwise, don’t bother.
