Hands down my favorite coffee place on the east side but they’re hard to get to unless you’re on foot. They’re located inside the expedia building downtown.

Like here a lot, tasty coffee and pastries, I’ve been here for a few times during my visit. Very friendly staff here also, like the table setting also.

One of the best coffee shops on the east side. The baristas are excellent, the menu is innovative, and the breakfast options are superb. Using a gift card get you TWO free drinks every ten drinks you buy.

I walk past the Starbucks in my building everyday to get my coffee from Café Ladro next door. The baristas are top notch. They know their coffee and make me a perfect hemp milk latte every time! They are also very friendly and welcoming even when they are super busy. Cookies are also fantastic.

Every time I’ve stopped by for espresso, Caffe Ladro has always been on point. Their espressos never taste overly bitter and are always well-made. So glad that downtown Bellevue has places like Caffe Ladro to provide options other than Starbucks.

This was my go-to place Monday through Thursday in May and June 2015 when in the area on a long term work assignment. The vanilla lattes were mostly excellent, only suffered from scalded milk once. The staff was pretty friendly and the questions of the day made for great entertainment while waiting. Don’t be afraid to ask for the not-on-the-menu«Jumbo» size(20 ounces I believe) — I wish I had discovered it sooner than three days before I left!

Really great healthy snacks if you want to eat something Vegan, or something that’s more fresh than your average pastry(although if you like sugary, yummy pastries, they have those as well!). The coffee is always on point, and even during lunch the line is never that bad. Try the Shakerato; it’s a nice pick me up in the afternoon. Totally worth passing all the starbucks on this road for this place.

Coffee is good, lines not long, and samples of good pasteries.

They’re in the lobby of the Expedia building with plenty of good seating. I got a humongous, soft, moist raspberry scone that was just delightful and a piping hot bold Americano. Glad I only have to see them this week or my waistline would be in danger.

My favorite items to get here are either an Americano, 12 oz Latte, or an Oatmeal cookie. The staff are very friendly and the prices are competitive. Drinks are served very quickly even when they have a line. The wait time is pretty hit or miss. Either the line is rather long(but moves quickly) or no line at all. Even though I can get free coffee from my employer I choose to stop by here most mornings to pick up an Americano because they have such excellent flavor. The reason I went for 4 rather than 5 stars is because I think there could be some room to improve with the baked goods. I love the cookies but the rest of the baked items could be better. I wish they offered a few additional breakfast items like a breakfast sandwich. I have had the quiche a few times and it is pretty good. The croissants are fantastically dangerous because I like them so much I could eat myself into a coma. I would definitely like to see a few more delicious breakfast options. But, overall I am pretty happy about this place and will continue to go here regularly for my coffee in the mornings.

Located in the Expedia building in Bellevue, Caffe Lardo serves up your traditional coffee shop beverages. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The drinks are made fast and correctly. They offer 24 oz iced drinks with 4 shots, bigger and better then Starbucks, yahoo! One thing I wish this location had though was a larger selection of pastry and food items. As far as I can tell, they only have a limited option of sweets available. Some basic grab and go lunch items would be great, but perhaps they have tried those and there is just not enough margin in a perishable item as such… All in all though a great coffee shop with great staff. The espresso flavor in the drinks is a bit of a more mild flavor but with all the kick of the strong stuff.

This is fancy coffee. Everything about Caffe Ladro is nice. It’s clearly quality everything, and they have alternative milks — soy, and almond I believe. But it’s just not to my taste. I really wish it were, because I swear everything is so nicely made, but then I just don’t love the taste.

They are located in the Expedia building which I usually walk by on my way to the Bellevue Transit Center. I usually get my drip coffee or Americano from here when I feel like getting fresh coffee vs Keurig brewed coffee from my office. The line can get really long or none at all depending on the time and day. I’d say their coffee is pretty good and worth paying for it even if you can get a free coffee at your office. I suggest you try their frozen espresso drinks during summer season because they are very delicious and addictive. I wouldn’t say this place serves the best drip /Americano I’ve ever had in Seattle area but they are still pretty good for a morning coffee.

I love Caffee Ladro. This shop is hard to find, but the coffee is very good. I think this one has a nice quality, but I really love the one down in Seattle best.

They have unique coffee here from all over Africa that is light and fruity. I can’t speak for their espresso drinks, but this is my favorite spot to grab a nice drip coffee. They have floor to ceiling windows and plenty of seating. The baristas are quick and friendly.

They know your name. They know your drink. The Ladro beans are amazing. To top it off, they know what a «dry cappuccino» is!

The iced mocha beats the pants off of a Frap, any day. After finding their iced mocha, fraps taste watery to me now. Extra points for being able to make them with ricemilk and for having a non dairy mocha base mix.(however, you need to ask for it. Baristias don’t always remember to point out that they have the option) If you are vegan, keep an eye on which container they use. More than once I’ve had my non dairy mocha in a blender that I could see still had milk in the bottom and was not washed out.

Dear Caffe Ladro I really do enjoy your coffee, it taste so much better than the chain coffee place that surrounds us. I like how your store front has seating capacity for around 30 people; with a 6-person table or 8-person table, it makes a perfect spot for impromptu meetings on the fly. I do ask you, please, pretty please, can you build another facility elsewhere away from Downtown Bellevue? Perhaps on Bel-Red between 124th and 156th? Please? I don’t like how you don’t have street parking or even 15 minute validated parking to get a cup of coffee. And paying five or more dollars for the paid lots on top of the coffee is pretty high. Not to mention the amount of time needed to find an open parking, pay the lot machine and to walk to your facility. So, I ask of you, please consider building another location away from Downtown Bellevue. Build that location and I’ll become the Duke very quickly. :-) Thanks!

My girlfriend always raves how she loves Caffe Ladro coffee and despises Starbucks… well I am a sbux junky but I thought I would check this place out and mix it up. I ordered a short white mocha and remembered to ask what the standard milk was — WHOLE — yuck, non-fat please. The foam on the mocha was perfect, velvety and smooth, with a hand crafted little leaf design. Unlike Starbucks mocha’s it was not that sweet but I was trying to evaluate the bitterness of the coffee and it was pretty bitter to me. I give it an A-OK review because that is how I felt the coffee was, it was drinkable and had it’s high and low points to it. It was worth a shot.

My coffee spot on lunch. Ladro, you make my work day sometimes. Especially those days where I am desperately in need of a little caffeination to help me along. :) I usually ordered a breve with orange zest. One of the baristas decided the appropriate name for my drink was a Zesty Breve. I’m down. :) Also wonderful is the Medici, or well most any coffee from here. And get the Vegan Oat Bar or the Biscotti. MMMMM. Also, I had a mini-quiche and it was delectable. Free wifi. Which made for bliss on lunch when I brought my iPad. Or I would just bring some headphones, music and a good book. Only thing is during the normal morning rush hours and the time right around and after lunch it can be pretty busy as it is in the base of the Expedia Building. But for me that is to be expected.
