This is nasty — ordered Orange Chicken and it tastes like freezer burn. I will never eat here again.

Had the Pad See Yew today and it was decent. The price is decent and flavor was good. What I liked about is that it isn’t oily. Typically with high heat cooking and Thai food, I find lots of oil at the bottom of my plate. I’ll come back.

I won’t be coming back. Their food is not bad, but it’s not good either. I ordered their pad thai, $ 8, and it’s all noodles. There is barely any flavour. No thanks!

My husband just ordered from the food truck at the South Lake Union location. He ate the drunken noodles and found a very sharp metal fragment, possibly a staple, in his food. No answer when I called them; no website or email address; no way to reach them except by going all the way back there. Avoid.

Honestly speaking, the food is just average. Friendly service though. I have been to Thailand so I know what thai food should be like… This is too sweet…

The Djung food truck shows up near my workplace two or three times a week, and there’s almost always a line for it — there’s good reason for that. They offer an interesting mix of thai and Asian dishes — from rich, flavorful curries to a surprisingly tangy orange chicken, all accompanied with rice and a crispy spring roll. They also have pad thai and pad see ew, though I tend to gravitate toward the curry dishes, especially since I’m often arriving later than most of the lunch crowd. The popular items — orange chicken and pad thai especially — sell out quickly, so be sure to get there early if that’s your thing. Even if I arrive too late for those, I’m never disappointed by the yellow curry, a favorite of mine. The pad see ew and garlic chicken are good but not especially memorable. Portion sizes are enough for a satisfying lunch, and not so much that you’ll have any left over for later(at least, I never do). All in all, Djung’s food is fairly basic, but comparable to, and sometimes better than, many of the thai offerings in the South Lake Union area. The service is always friendly, even when they’re busy, and it never takes more than a few minutes to get your food and get along with your day. They use a simple numbering system to identify which order goes to which person, and it never fails to amuse me that the numbers follow no particular order — you never know which you’ll get, though they always get the food right! Hot, fresh, delicious thai and Asian fusion dishes, served quickly and at reasonable prices? I feel lucky that Djung shows up so nearby, so often.

This food truck is in South Lake Union at Virginia and 9th on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It might be in Bellevue other days, but I’m not sure. The food: You can get all of your typical, Thai favorites such as drunken noodles, red and green curries, phad thai, etc. Some are served as combos and come with an egg roll and rice. The quality is pretty mediocre compared to nearby, sit-down Thai restaurants. You will not find your 5 star rating of spiciness, nor do the flavors really blend that well. The curries are probably the best option in my opinion and they serve them a lot faster than the other dishes(probably because it’s sitting in a large pot on the stove, ready to serve). Price: Fair. Dishes are about $ 8 on average. Service: The two stars are really for the service. The people that run the truck are very friendly, making it tough to rag on the quality of food, but that’s how it is. Convenience: Obviously, a food truck is pretty convenient. Wait times are a lot faster than other places — maybe 5 – 7 minutes, and like 30 seconds for the curries. If you go before noon-ish, that is the best time to avoid the Amazon rush just fyi.

Very disappointed. They are frequently located outside my office and always have a big line. I was finally convinced to give it a shot. I got the orange chicken. Boy was I disappointed. Mushy chicken with no flavor. The chicken barely had any sauce on it. Very underwhelmed. Will probably not go back with so many better options available in SLU.

Djung on Wheels offers decent Thai at a great price. I believe almost everything on their menu is under $ 7, and their portions are very generous. Nothing I’ve had here is particularly outstanding, but good enough if you’re battling a Thai craving and in the SLU food truck core. The Panang Curry was mostly chicken with maybe 3 – 4 strips of red/green bell pepper. I absolutely despise bell peppers of all kinds so this was fine with me, but if you look forward to red peppers in your curry, you may be disappointed. The Pad Kee Mao was okay, very mild and a tad bit too greasy. I will probably stick to the curries next time, since I have a feeling that all of their stir-fried noodle dishes will be a bit heavy on the oil and I’m not confident that the Pad Thai will be tamarind based. If you’re not feeling like a meal, they do have Thai Iced Tea which is a steal at $ 1.50. The line can be a little long during peak meal times, but rest assured that it does move pretty quickly!

There are a lot of food trucks jostling for attention in south lake union these days, and as you might hope, that makes them try harder. Seems like every single one is putting out maximum effort, trying to entice people with good cheap grub. Djung is on Boren almost every single day at lunch, it seems like. They definitely have a place among the fleet. The basics: –Most meals are about $ 7 –There are about 10 things on the menu –They do take credit cards – automated tipping, paperless receipting –Staff are really friendly –They promise super-fast cook times if you order a curry(red, green, or panang) They prep a lot ahead of time, so you get plenty of fresh chopped vegetables. The rice is fluffy and tender, the protein’s in good shape. They’re very *light* on the spices, but there’s a bottle of Sriracha at the to-go counter. The staff are really nice, and they have a fair bit of space in the trailer, so they seem relaxed and comfortable. I walked away with a big compostable clamshell of chicken, rice, and vegetables for $ 7, and the flavors were really good. I’d gladly come back here.

Had noticed Djung on Wheels parked near my office a couple of days a week. Learned, from some co-workers who’d been, that they served Thai food. Being a Thai food lover, I was excited to check them out. Finally had the chance to one recent day. I had the Panang Chicken Curry, the special of the day. My verdict: Not great. Far from terrible. Since it was pre-made, it was also pre-spiced, and was a bit milder than I would have liked. The serving included lots of chicken. The accompanying veggies — green and red bell pepper — were fresh and crispy, though there could have been a bit more of them. The meal included rice. White. I prefer brown rice, but did not see that as an option. My meal cost $ 7, as do all the entrées at Djung on Wheels. This was an ample serving, though not enough to stretch into a second meal. The service was friendly and my meal was served up fast. I would(and almost certainly will) go again, but can’t say I’ll become a regular.

Hot. Fresh. Fast. Delicious. Reasonable. I’m sad that they are only downtown near my work once a week. I’d love to be able to go there more often.

Got food from their cart in SLU. Really good red curry, ample sauce and chicken was delicious. Huge portion of rice was a little too much to eat and ran out of sauce. Service was very quick and easy with square. Order the red curry as it is ready immediately and you don’t have to wait with the throng of people waiting.

This food truck was parked outside where I work because our cafeteria is being remodeled. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but it was a most unpleasant experience. I ordered drunken noodles and spring rolls for $ 11. I was immediately worried when I opened the box and the noodles were largely uncolored by sauce. The noodles and vegetables tasted of nothing but oil and the chicken had just the slightest flavor. The spring rolls tasted like any you would expect to get in a bulk frozen bag from a discount store and were undercooked. This was at the start of the day and they were not at all busy. Not that there is ever a good excuse for quality this poor, but they certainly had the resources to do better at that moment.

I had them many times, they have their up and down, and I think their chicken is a little on the dry side, but might be just i’m so picky when come to food. but i will keep trying for a while. keep it up. however, their ice tea is good price and taste better than some of the thai place around.

Djung on Wheels– Bringing Yummy Thai food to local areas Our work area had a no real food options, So Djung on Wheels was one of the first Food Trucks that came out to help us with our food problems. I tried the Golden Cashew Combo It was served with a scoop of rice and a egg roll, it was pretty good Portion size was pretty small for the price of the combo(7.00 $). But again you are paying for the convenience. For lunch rush, it took them about 3 – 4 minutes to take order and cook the meal so I was pretty happy about that.
