She is a skillful master, quite knowledgeable in her field but very irresponsible for timing her appointments– could easily make you wait for 1 hour and up, it seems she doesn’t even understand that making your client wait on a regular basis– absolutely unacceptable for a professional! Elena gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I went short recently and wasn’t happy with what I was getting. I saw a gal that had the best haircut I have ever seen. It was Elena’s work. You will pay for excellence, but worth every penny.
I was having to get may hair cut every 3 weeks before at $ 45 a pop. Elena cut my hair 7 weeks ago for $ 85 and it still has great shape, just obviously longer. Hhhmmm, more expensive cut is saving me money in the long run.
She was awesome!

I have been a client of Elena’s for about four or give years now, and I cannot recommend her enough. She has taken my hair and turned it from a regular looking head of hair to a masterpiece. She has studied all over the world and is constantly going to conferences and competitions to keep her styling knowledge up to date with the global fashion trends. Whenever I go in to see her, I don’t ever tell her what to do — I just let her do her thing. I have never been upset once in the entire time that I have seen her. My hair is healthier, longer, and I constantly receive compliments about it. If you want the best hair that you could ever want, go see Elena. You will not regret it.

Elena is my best finding in USA/​Vancouver, BC! She is not just a person who does haircuts. She is the one who brings her client’s personality, highlights beauty and makes her clients look «expensive» and gorgeous. I cannot say how many times per month I get compliments from strange people outside in coffee shops, food stores, at work, etc. She does special treatments to hair so they not just look healthy — they become healthy and shiny! She makes haircuts in the way that client doesn’t need to spend hours trying to make it look good after washing it. Also… Elena uses Japanese techniques that are very unusual for American hairstylist but help to make haircut look good even after 6 weeks after its being done. I am proud to be a client of super-​star stylist who competed in Europe last year. In addition, Elena will never make any addition service that your hair doesnt need. She will never do any coloring/​highlights/​lowlights if they actually damage your hair. Her honesty and customer appreciation are most valuable for me. I don’t believe to any of review below because they are not proven. Those who tried Elena wont be able to go back to any other stylist.
Elena also had hair done for my ballroom dance competition on Seattle Starball and I looked gorgeous :)

Elena Basimova is the BIGGEST BITCH i have EVER met. Thinks too highly of herself and if u expect customer service DONT! This bitch is plain rude and thinks that because she supposedly studied in Paris or has been to a hair show competition, apparently asking her questions about technique used and outcome expected is out of line and immediately takes it as you questioning her «EXPERT» ability. No manners whatsoever, let alone basic courtesy. Extremely unprofessional, im guessing they dont teach that in Paris. Typical of a Russian, bougie, bellevue highclass wannabe, who acts like a mannerless villager! I know a very extensive community on the eastside and will make sure that everyone knows how horrible and demeaning of an experience I had. This stylist and subsequently salon itself lacks service, manners and class. My guess is judging by experience same is with skill and self proclaimed expertise.

I recently got my hair cut again and I LOVE IT! She incredibly knowledgeable and I have never been upset with anything she has done with my hair. I have been seeing her for years now, and I will continue to see her and refer all of my friends and family. You will thank yourself for seeing Elena.
She also will not gouge you for product prices, her prices for all products are reasonable and they are the best products on the market that will keep your hair healthy and maintain colour.

wow what a great service Elena provided!!! I was super nervous cutting and coloring my long hair at first. As soon as the appointment began, I knew that I was in hands of a true hair master. She is extremely talented with a bubbly personality. I can confidently say that I have found my hair stylist. My hair looks wonderful the cut is shick and the color is beautiful. Elena definitely keeps up with the latest hair trends, and her educational background is impressive. I would 100% recommend her to any one who is looking for a one in a lifetime salon experience.
