My experience at EraGem was beautiful. I’d been to other businesses looking to sell my gold and Michael gave the best offer by several hundred dollars. He and his staff were very kind and respectful. One of the items I sold to him was my recently passed mother’s vintage watch — I was surprised at how difficult it was to literally hand it to him and the deep emotions that came up. Michael honored my grief and told me that the diamonds in the watch would be fashioned into engagement rings — symbolizing new beginnings. Do yourself a huge favor and come to Michael to sell, buy, repair your jewelry. Incredibly positive experience.

Originally I charted 11 stores that would buy our precious jewelry. After looking them over on Unilocal and elsewhere on the Internet we focused on 5 stores to drive around for a price quote in one day. We started early in the morning and finished at 5 PM here with EraGem.
I asked each store if they would hold their price quoted today until 5 PM. Each store volunteered a nice polite yes. I replied great, see you later. From past experience and Internet reviews we tried to end up here last which turned out to be the best price offer.
We were paid over $ 2000 better than West Seattle Coins And Bellevue Rare Coins.

I highly recommend Eragem when selling your jewelry. I had tried several other business’ but they did not appreciate the value of my Van Cleef vintage cocktail ring like Michael at Eragem did. My entire experience was very professional. Michael was easily reached anytime I tried to contact him. Eragem showcased my ring, and sold it, on their jewelry consignment website. Don’t waste your time with anyone else, I know I will DEFINITELY go back to Eragem in the future.

Had a fantastic customer service experience with this jeweler. My fiancé picked out a ring that I loved, but after a few days wearing it we noticed there was a slight asymmetry in the band. We emailed them a picture, they immediately sent us a packing slip and were able to ship it back to be repaired. They reassured us that if we were unhappy with how it looked after the repair, we would still be entitled to a full refund. Luckily, it came back looking great, they even overnight shipped it once it was ready. We have nothing but positive things to say about them and obviously they have a beautiful selection. Would highly recommend.

My fiancé and I found the most beautiful wedding set for me at EraGem! I created a Wish List on their website and scheduled an appointment the next day. I tried on several things and found the perfect set, within our price range. No high pressure sales, everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly. I can’t recommend them higher!

I have sold several pieces of jewelry through EraGem and have always been treated very well. A price is negotiated before the consignment sale, so you always know what you will receive. Other places will sell based on a percentage so it becomes a bit of a lottery. Michael and Maslow know their market and their products. The photos, cleaning and write-​ups will highlight and sell your piece. It may take a while to find the right buyer if the piece is like Cinerella’s slipper, but I wouldn’t sell my good pieces with anyone else. Several of mine sold within a month.
I can’t praise them enough. Their help and care is SO appreciated. I would give them 10 out 5 stars if I could!

One of my late night guilty pleasures is looking at the Eragem website. (I initially heard of them from ebay) Their stock is outta this world and is constantly changing to include new vintage and antique jewelry that is top of the line both in quality and uniqueness.
They resize for no added cost, which to me stellar customer service. They are sweet & easy to get a hold of.
If you live close by you are so lucky, go check them out!!!

I just bought another vintage piece from Eragem and it arrived this morning. I adore it!
My new 1920’s white gold and diamond bracelet has blue glass inlays and is the perfect piece for my «something blue» for my wedding next month. It fits like a glove and is in really great condition given that it’s a few years shy of being 100 years old.
If you are a vintage jewelry lover Eragem really does have the best out there and they have excellent customer service.

All I have to say is WOW! WOW to the service I received, WOW to the quality of the ring and WOW to the entire experience!
I was literally walking out of Tiffany after thinking I had found «the ring» when a friend recommended I take a look at Era Gem. I browsed their ring selection and 5 minutes later was on the phone with Mike talking about a particular ring that was screamed «i’m it!» Needless to say Mike walked me through the difference in modern cuts vs. antique cuts and by the time we were done I knew that if I wanted to express how much she means to me, then she had to have a ring that is as unique and loved as she is.
I deferred delivery of the ring for about a month, but when it was time to have it sent to me it was a simple email. The ring arrived the next day and by close of business Maslow was on the phone asking «Is there anything else we can do for you?». To be honest I didn’t know how to react because I was still in shock from the ring. It honestly surpassed any expectation I had in size, beauty and impression.
I could go on for at least another 15,000 words about my experience and my new found loyalty to Mike & Maslow for all things jewelry, but I won’t bore you :). Let me just say this;
If you want a very unique and special piece, if you want to be treated honestly by professionals who spend as much time educating as they do fulfilling a purchase, if you want to deal with people who truly value the service they provide you… you go to Era Gem.

Quite happy with my experience. I was able to purchase a one of a kind/​unique vintage engagement ring which I knew my girlfriend would prefer to a new edgy cut modern ring. The ring I wanted was a bit pricey, but they helped me out with a down payment and allowing me to pay the remainder a bit later and not lose out on the ring. They were very accommodating in letting me pick up the ring after hours, and provided good customer service. There are allowing us to re-​size the ring with them complimentary which is a very nice touch. Beyond all this, the ring was a big hit. She is hesitant to even give it up for a couple days for resizing :)
I online window shopped a lot of rings in the vintage arena, and these guys were the best selection. That paired with the customer service made for great experience, which I think could be stressful elsewhere.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about EraGem. Their rings are beautiful, incredibly unique, and of exceptional quality, and the prices for the quality are beyond reasonable. Michael, the owner, and his staff, are very knowledgeable about their rings and dedicated to helping you find the right ring for you, in a type of one-​on-​one conversation we’d never experienced before in a jewelry store.
My boyfriend and I have been working with them to find a vintage ring we both love (not all that easy!), and they even allowed us to pick a setting and stone separately from their collection to put together the perfect ring. And is it EVER the perfect ring.

We felt that the whole experience was personalized. What a pleasure working with this small business — couldn’t be happier. It’s so wonderful to have a piece that feels truly unique — I think being able to shop for vintage rings like these is a special opportunity. When looking for vintage rings you never quite know how the quality is going to be, and how worn they are going to look — all of these rings, even turn-​of-​the-​century pieces, are in beautiful condition.
On the business side: They are very fair about pricing, their website is easy to use, and there is ample on-​site parking. Hours are not technically by appointment only, but still good to call ahead.

I discovered EraGem through their wonderful website, and was so excited to see that this business is based locally in Bellevue. Their website is really easy to navigate and the high quality photographs give you a great look at the beautiful sapphire engagement rings in their collection. After viewing the collection online, I made an appointment to see the rings in person. Their store is easy to get to from 405, there is ample parking, and the store environment is lovely! It is a boutique environment, yet the jewelry pricing is quite reasonable. I highly recommend this business if you’re shopping for a sapphire engagement ring!
I also agree with other reviewers that Michael is great to work with!

Era Gem truly is as good as it gets.
I was searching for an engagement ring for my girlfriend who loves vintage jewelry when I came across the Era Gem website. Their site is easy to navigate with excellent pictures. Everything from the ring size, to clarity, to the year it is from is explained in detail for each piece. Very informative and easy.
I didn’t really realize that their store is by appointment only, but when I showed up, they accommodated me without one. It was very personal, just me and the jewelers. I didn’t feel pressure to buy, or like they were upselling me at ANY moment.
When I came back a week or so later, I was able to purchase the ring I wanted at a VERY reasonable price. They cleaned and boxed the ring beautifully.
My now fiancé came in to get the ring re-​sized a bit smaller, and they did this not only free of charge, but in a very reasonable amount of time. They even gave her a smaller band to wear for the weekend to make sure the size was right for her, before altering the ring.
All in all, during every visit to Era Gem, they exceeded my expectations in every way possible. A+ Service, beautiful ring options, and a convenient Bellevue location. I am a VERY happy customer, and will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a great jeweler. I will be back.

I am having to rewrite this review because for some reason the first one did not take. I hope I do not fail to recreate the enthusiasm I had for this jeweler.
I actually went to Weston to sell my wedding set. I searched around Unilocal a lot and saw many places to sell, but all of them had at least one or two horrible experiences. Weston did not have any reviews related to selling so I went to their website. The website was impressive and well organized and I really liked the items they had for sale. Thus, I called and made an appointment to have them look at my item.
I have to admit I was a little intimidate at the initial appearance of the showroom. Very nice and sophisticated. I am not wealthy and was worried that I would feel out of place. Once entering the showroom, the staff made me feel completely at ease. They treated me with kindness and respect I would expect if I were purchasing an item.
Needless to say, I would return whether I were buying or selling an item. They offer they gave me was respectable and the customer service was outstanding.
