Formula 1 Fast Lube

Very quick and friendly. They did a quick vacuum and everything was great. They made recommendations for a radiator flush and some fuel injection scrub or something. I have never taken part in these flushes from. any shop as I feel they are not needed. I would give it 5 stars but they forgot to reset my oil light change indicator.

We have been a customer got over 10 years with numerous vehicles. We always receive fast, friendly service. Recently I returned after an oil change due to a leak I thought they caused. They identified a seal problem, washed the pan cover, vacuumed the mats and checked air in tires, all at no charge. Owner seems to have a lot of car knowledge.

Warning to anyone who gets their car serviced at Formula One Fast Lube in Factoria! My family has been lifetime customers at this location and I have to say I’m incredibly disappointed. I went today to get my oil changed and left feeling undervalued as a loyal customer and can promise you I will never go back. Before getting out of my car to be serviced I specifically put my Versace eye glasses case with the glasses inside into the pocket of the drivers door. I have never had an issue with my belonging being tampered with while at this location until now. When I got back into my car, I noticed my glasses case was partially open, part of my glasses hanging out with the glasses cloth and dirty finger prints all over the case. Not at all how I left them. I immediately approached the owner and asked whether or not the technicians would need to go into my side pocket for any reason throughout the oil change. He confirmed they would not and asked me why. I showed him my glasses case and that obviously someone went through my belongings and expressed how uncomfortable it made me. He didn’t seem to be phased nor care what I was telling him. He gave me an offhand excuse along the lines of «My guys wouldn’t be interested in women’s eye glasses» and «I’m sorry you feel that way». I explained that the case is clearly Versace and had they been sunglasses, they would have made a nice gift for a girlfriend/​wife or the could be sold online. I explained that it appears that whoever was riffling through my belongings probably thought they were something of value, until opening the case to find out they are prescription eyeglasses. He again didn’t seem to care and stated that they have never received a complaint like this before. After paying $ 100 for an oil change, one would think he would offer some sort of compensation (voucher for a car wash?) or least of all an apology. Upon getting home and looking at their Unilocal reviews, this most definitely isn’t the first time this has happened at this location. So beware! If you don’t want your personal items riffled through and your privacy invaded, do NOT go to this location. I will be finding somewhere else to have my car serviced that values their customers privacy and loyalty.

Went here for the first time today for an oil change. Staff was very professional, service was quick, and loved that they vacuumed the inside of my car as well. Definitely will return again in the future.

Never have had a full oil change there, they just added some fluids. Employees nice, and it is a clean place. If someone ask you to fix a crack in your windshield say no. My windshield looks worse. Now I have to get it replaced.

These guys are willing to lie to your face in order to sell anything. They tried telling me the filled cracks in my windshield needed filling or else they would spread. Bold faced lie. Not only that their work is generally sloppy as the front of my washed car had grease and hand prints all over it after the 40 minute oil change (which isn’t even that fast).

Not sure why this place has such low reviews. This is my usual oil change place.
The service is quick and standard in terms of the pricing. They always ask before replacing things (filters, etc.) so I don’t feel like they’re necessarily trying to upsell me.
I’m in and out within 30 mins and they vacuum. Its nothing fancy but they get the job done!

Very helpful didn’t try to screw me on add on’s. Knowledgeable and super fast and they gave me a free car wash. Highly recommend them

Inflated part prices e.g. Cabin air filter costs $ 8.99 on Amazon, cost me $ 29.99 here.

A bit overpriced 80 $for an oil change, did up sell for synthetic but then gave me a free wash across the street. They were very nice and super fast. Didn’t like they started working on my car before I said yes to the work.

I gave Formula 1 Fast Lube 2 stars because Unilocal’s rating system say 3 stars is «A — Okay,» which doesn’t necessarily match my experience with them.
Service is friendly and relatively quick for an oil change. I’ve had them do a transmission fluid change previously because it seemed justified by the mileage and the sample he showed me. This last trip they came and said I should get a new cabin filter and air filter. I couldn’t remember if I had it done last time or not but I know we discussed it. I just said Go Ahead. When I went to file my receipt, I saw I did have it done the last time, 7 months ago, 7k miles ago. I called and asked for an explanation and it’s the standard driving conditions, etc. No off roading in a Lexus and normal city driving here locally is what I told them. That was about the end of the discussion but I probably won’t go back.
Watch the upselling. They have all your records from the moment you pull up when they enter your license number. They could have saw it was recently done but instead decided to take my $ 50. Thinking about it, I know the guy looked at the record because when we were discussing the filters, he said you did your transmission fluid last time.
Rating going to a 1 star.

Complete bull$&*t …
Told my wife not to go there, but unfortunately, she went there. Low and behold tail lights are diagnosed as out… Alright, (whatever, replace them and I’m out $ 8? Go ahead…)
Same wife then gets pulled over by the cops. «What’s the problem?» Tail lights are out. I then take the car to a real shop (LBR Automotive) and they explain that the wrong bulbs were installed (by Formula 1) incorrectly.
LBR repairs the shorted piece (-$ 200). I take diagnostic/​receipt back to Formula 1. They deny any wrong doing, and swore that they replaced the previous incorrect bulbs with new incorrect bulbs, and that THOSE bulbs were the culprits, but offered a free oil change as remedy. No thanks. I’ll never return and instead will actively lobby against your business, so others don’t fall prey to your underhanded tactics.

I’ve been here a few times for an oil change. They are fast and quick. [and convenient, therefore I come back] Seems reliable for oil changes. But that’s all the service I have gotten from them. The workers there were extremely nice and friendly. Always good customer service for my few times here. +1 for service. But the cost is out the window. My car requires synthetic oil and I know that is more expensive but paying about $ 100 per oil change is a bit crazy!

Needed an Oil Change for my car. And they are fast and did a good job. Cleaned my windows and the wiped down by where they filled it up with oil.
Great Experience and they are reasonable.
Didnt try to upsell me on anything i didnt need.

These guys are incredible! I had to get my oil changed with two young children. I armed myself with candy and technology to pass the time. They had my oil changed in FIVE minutes!!! I was so surprised! Their response was that they saw I had two little ones so they had their ENTIRE staff work to get me in and out of there! I will be back! And all of my friends will be too bc I haven’t stopped raving about it!

I’ve gone here for years because they are close to the house and fast. They always seemed to do a decent job and I would have given them higher stars except I’m not going back. I am just so tired of the up-​selling. Each time I go in there they want to sell me additional services. When I say «no thank you but thanks for the information» they act like I’ve either hurt their feelings or «you’ll be sorry.» They did a windshield repair once and screwed it up (I found out later it was too cold to perform that kind of work), and even when I’ve told them walking in I don’t want additional services, just an oil change, they try to upsell me anyway. Hey guys, no really does mean no.
With so many places to go for an oil change it’s time for a change. I was on Unilocal today looking for a new place, so I’ll let you know what I find.
