Mmm. I ordered the ramen with light broth(chicken and pork), and from the first sip of soup I knew it would be great. The noodles are chewy, and the radish on top is wonderful! I’ve never had anything like it before, just a tad crispy and sour. There was a line during Sunday lunch, but we got in in about 15 to 20 minutes. So yes, it’s a wait, but worth it. My friend also ordered a pork burger, and he enjoyed it as well.

My favorite ramen place. Tonkotsu black with an extra egg and Brussels sprout tempura! The best!

My favorite restaurant in Seattle so far! Ramen tasted authentic and served really hot just as it’s suppose to. Pork was so tender it melts in my mouth(but only had 1 – 2 pcs. which is not enough), if there was a generous serving of the pork this would’ve been a 5 star! Customer service is great, very pleasant servers, the place is quite small though so be prepared to wait during rush hours.

Came here after a movie night with the wife… overall, a decent ramen place. We had the«Jinya No. 1&2» bowls. The pork broth was rich and tasted great. LOVE the egg in the soup! The staff seemed a little«cold» when we walked in, however, it was nothing too off-putting. Within tolerance. The location is convenient with lots of parking. Plus, Peaks Frozen Yogurt Bar is next door so you can get dessert too!!! We’ll definitely be coming back!

I came here with my family after a short hike up Rattlesnake Ridge. We were so hungry so the majority of us ordered our ramen with extra noodles! We also ordered a 15 piece of chicken on the side. This was my first time here, and so I wasn’t sure how big the portions were, but I was huuuungry. When my bowl came, I started eating it really fast. Out of the group of 6, including my older siblings and parents, only my husband and I finished our bowls with extra noodles without help from others! I ordered the No 1, which was the Tonkatsu. The broth was alright — nothing fancy. I was so by hungry I would eat anything in front of me. The chicken was pretty flavorful, especially with the sauce on the side!

It was just OK. I came in around 630 and the place was pretty empty. I don’t eat meat and I asked if instead of the pork I could just replace it with another egg… I hate when places say this… «Well, we normally don’t, but I’ll do it this one time»…Then guess what just say NO… don’t pretend like you are doing me this big solid… by giving me 1 extra egg rather than the pork(trust me the egg is cheaper and you aren’t losing any money). So it pretty much went downhill from there. I asked if I could make it spicier and the waitress pointed at the hot paste/sauce at the table… well it tastes different when it’s cooked in the soup… but oh well I guess pointing at a jar on the table so you can do the least amount of work is fine. Lazy. When it arrived at the table it was lukewarm. The tables are super sticky to almost dirty. I liked when places have a little rougher interior but this place is DIRTY. I love, love ramen… I could eat it everyday. But I only finished half and did not come back the rest of the time I was in Seattle. I’ll go back to NYC and go get some ramen there… or heck I’ll make it at my house which tastes batter than this place did. Pass…I am sure there are other ramen places in Seattle that are far superior than this chain wannabe Ramen joint.

Some of my favorite ramen in Seattle. The Cha Cha Cha ramen was about as close to my ideal bowl of ramen as it gets — so flavorful and delicious with really thick, chewy noodles. I also appreciated they had a great kids meal option — for $ 7 you get a ton of food and more than enough choices for the pickiest eater(rice, kiragi chicken, a small ramen, french fries, and fruit.

Place just keeps getting better! From a 2 to a 3 and now a solid 4 star. Definitely one of my to go to ramen places now in Bellevue :) Ramen and broth good. Egg, runny, good! Lots of deep friend veggie options, good! Thanks for always raising your standards and for self improvement! I could learn a lot from you ;)

This is the best Ramen I’ve had in the area. It can get busy during lunch, but worth the wait. Everything is amazing.

More of a Chinese flavor profile for ramen. Not a lot of toppings, mostly noodles. Noodles are the skinny type but broth is good. Curry is surprisingly good so I go for that. For Kids: This is where they earn my stars. — Kids utensils, cups, plates — Kids meal is big enough for my 3 and 7 year old to share. Salad, chicken, rice, fries, ramen, and dessert! — Kids love the taste and always leave happy

Jinya #1 ramen is so yummy. Garlic chicken ramen was also good. Good broth and charsu was super tender. Try the ramen with thicker noodle. Thicker egg noodle has more flavor. Wait during lunch and dinner rush can be super long. Also if you are seat at the counter by the dish bin it smells of trash. Area can be more cleaner.

Not a huge fan of ramen but this place is pretty good. Can be compared to ramen in Japan, sometimes even better. The service was what kept it from being 5 stars, the waitresses always seem so disorientAted when I come here, forgetting to bring water or tea. Cant remember the orders the customers made when putting down ramen, and puts in wrong place after we told them who ordered which. However, the ramen was better than other places around seattle. My favorite is the spicy tonkotsu, which is a spicy pork broth. Its quite salty here whichnis good for ramen, and there are choices of thick or thin noodles that sometimes taste like they are freshly made. Each ramen bowl varies on what is inside ranging from bamboo shoots, fungus, eggs, sprouts, which is usually rare at a ramen place. Overall, come eat here! Its literally like eating a bowl of ramen in Japan.

The broth and noodles were a bit on the bad side. When the ramen arrived after some time, the egg was still cold and the meat too? Like refrigerated kind of cold. Since the meats are placed on top of the noodles, perhaps they should think about how that all works out so we don’t get that frozen food feeling when eating at a restaurant. I usually eat extra noodles and then some. I made the mistake of ordering more noodles without first trying this place and regretted having more bad and dry noodles with my broth. I forced myself to eat as much as I could since I do love me some Ramen but, I was definitely not happy with this place. Overall, I do enjoy that there’s parking available via Crossroads and the place was clean overall.(The place is pretty new) but the service was a little slow and the layout of the place was a bit on the small side. The visit was a bit noisy because of one party of people which didn’t help the experience. I would definitely give more stars if the food was anywhere near good. Amongst the three of us that visited, none of us enjoyed our meal.

I’m just going to start off by saying, I’m not a ramen expert and I don’t usually crave ramen, but this place caught me by surprise. This ramen bar is beautiful on the inside and it’s spacious compared to other ramen restaurants. I walked in at 5PM(Just went it opens for dinner) and was surprised at the amount of people waiting at the door. I ordered the Assari Tonkotsu. This ramen was pork based and came with Pork Chashu, Kikurage, Green Onions, Season Egg, Spicy Bean Sprouts. This ramen was perfect because it was served with thick noodles and the broth wasn’t oily at all. The Pork Chashu and the season egg were the highlight of this dish. I wasn’t expecting the Chashu to be tender at all, it was savory and melted in my mouth. The season egg tasted like it was season with some sort of soy sauce. After my first bite of the egg, I refuse to finish it because I wanted to save it for last! And top that off with the green onion and spicy bean sprouts. You have the best ramen dish there is. I had a craving for their takoyaki and oddly ordered it as my dessert. The presentation for the takoyaki was awesome and it tasted great. It was cooked to perfection, however I don’t really understand why all the seasoning was on the bottom of the takoyaki, not on top. The takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise was on the bottom of the takoyaki so I found myself using it as a dip more. Overall, my first experience here was great. I’m totally coming back here to tryout more of the combos the ramen comes with!

JINYA Ramen Bar is definitely a Bellevue-worthy location. With a cozy and authentic atmosphere, it makes you forget that you came to a Crossroads mall that’s filled with stores nobody wants to go to. JINYA has pretty much everything your heart desires — pork, chicken, vegetarian, thin noodles, thick noodles. As a popular spot, this place usually gets packed. It does open at 11 am but by 11:05 expect a small crowd. Staff is nice and are always considerate of your conversations and the company that you have. They’re more than likely to suggest their favorite dish but either way, it’s a great place to eat. Casual but still chic, you won’t feel weird if you come in your 9 to 5 «Dress for Success» attire or your Lazy Wednesday attire — all goes! & people are so focused on their delicious ramen, they won’t even care ;)

Solid location in Bellevue Crossroads. It’s moderately sized, but feels fairly roomy. Service is pretty prompt and courteous. I appreciate that they have a variety of different interesting ramen dishes: pork broth, chicken broth, vegetable broth. Depending on the bowl it may have thin or thick noodles. And sadly only specific ones have(half of) a soft boiled egg. Of course you can always add additional toppings for some additional cash. Bowls range from $ 11-$ 13, which are on the pricey side. I really like how their noodles are done, especially the thick ones. They are soft and chewy. The broth is also creamy and packing lots of flavor. They also have a good variety of appetizers like edamame and chicken karaage. As well as some interesting ones like Brussels sprout tempura. It was crunchy and tasty. Overall delicious, but not slightly expensive. Portions are decent, but not completely filling.

I was seated right away at 6:30PM. The kitchen/bar area is towards the back of the restaurant. One large table with bench seating in the center of the room. Booths on the left and more smaller tables on the right. I suspect a quick turnaround is the idea behind wooden benches :) Servers wore cute plaid shirts. Service was quick and this place started filling up around 7PM, and the noise level picked up, but not unbearable at all. Tokyo Yatai Ramen: Chicken and pork clear broth: seared chicken chashu, Tokyo negi, green leaf, bamboo shoot, shredded red pepper, seasoned egg, fried onion, served with thin noodles. It must be just me, but I was wondering why this ramen dish is named Tokoyo Yatai. So I find Yatai is a mobile food stall in Japan that typically sells ramen or similar food and drinks such as beer and sake depending on the location. Tokyo style ramen consists of slightly thin, curly noodles served in a soy-flavoured chicken broth and true to form, the noodles were just that. The ramen portion was smaller than I’d expected. The broth was too salty for me and in a blindfold test, I wouldn’t be able to tell whether it was chicken or pork or both. They obliged when I asked for some broth to dilute that. The broth flavor was OK but it didn’t taste as if it had been cooked with much meat. Pieces of chicken weren’t seared at all, however they were good and not dry. I was disappointed though that I was only given half an egg. I happen to think the egg enhances any ramen dish and part of my ritual is cutting it open and having the yolk run into my broth. The broth was not steaming hot, so my ritual would have been cut short anyway. As far as the rest of the ingredients, the shredded red pepper added eye catching visual appeal but didn’t enhance the flavor. I did get one bamboo shoot so the menu was accurate :) I would return to try their other dishes since the service was great.

I’m not quite sure why I was against trying this place, but I’m really glad I finally convinced myself to walk in. I cannot get the thick pork chashu slices off my mind. The pork was cooked so perfectly that the fat melted in your mouth. Yummm! The broth was creamy and flavorful, which is what I expect when I’m ordering Tonkotsu ramen. Also the soft boiled egg… perfection! The food was delicious, but I do wish that the servers helped me and my friends out because it was our first time and we didn’t know what to try. We also asked for fresh garlic to go with our order, but never recieved it, which was disappointing.

This is my new favorite ramen place in Bellevue. Here’s why: 1. Multiple selections of different soups/broths(and types of noodles!!) many places dont let you choose your noodle thickness, and I LOVE that they include this choice. 2. «Souper» creamy and rich fatty broth —-yum. but not for the faint of heart/tongue 3. Garlic crushers FTW! You can crush garlic into your soup, to give yourself that delicious vampire-repelling flavor that makes ramen broth all the richer. 4. Soft boiled egg. This is one of my favorite parts of ramen. and I recently went to another favorite *cough* Santouka *cough* where I was disappointed that the soft boiled egg was HARD boiled!!! how dare they! No no, soft boiled with a rich, liquidy center is how the egg SHOULD be. Jinya does it right. My new go-to ramen haven!

New favorite ramen spot! Loved the garlic black tonkatsu, and would have preferred even more of this essence. Impressed to discover a spot that trumps Kukai for me, as ramen can otherwise be underwhelming in Seattle. Very rich and flavorful, and will be back to try Jinya’s other ramen preparations and appetizers. Service was friendly and fast. Wait can be long, as the restaurant fills up quickly during peak, esp on weekends so use common sense and come early or late, definitely not with a large group if nearing peak.
