Absolutely loved my meal! I got ‘the burger dip’ with a side of Mac n cheese with bacon! My boyfriend got ‘the real local burger’ with house fries. Both of our burgers were executed perfectly, but bring your appetite because the burgers are not small!!! They use locally sourced ingredients which is great but you’ll pay for it… about $ 60 after tip for two! Will still come back to try other things on the menu, but maybe not as often at that price point.

I actually very much enjoyed the few times that I’ve been to Local Burger. They have a great range of burgers that are all well made and delicious. I especially love coming here in the summer when you can actually sit outside and enjoy the sun.(90% of the time you can’t in Seattle.) I would say their salmon burger is especially good and they have a good variety of drinks as well. My only complaint is that the fries can be a little bit soggy when they come out. Personally prefer fries that are a little more crispy. But otherwise a great place to go for dinner or lunch! You’ll enjoy the ambiance a lot more in the summer or when it’s warm and sunny!

Exceptional! Easily one of the Seattle area’s best burger spots. Original variations and combinations, incredibly high-quality, and all from locally sourced ingredients. And don’t get me started on those damn dreamy burger buns! This impressive little gem of a burger joint also benefits from affable, attentive owners and staff, burger alternatives that can hold their weight against the prized main attraction, and a stand-out beer program. The kale salad, for example, would hold a spot on any restaurant’s menu. The space is also ingeniously designed so families with children can congregate near the front windows in a dining room, effectively separated from the bar. While the bar maintains its sense of purpose with long beer hall style booth tables and a spacious counter to accommodate the game-time crowd or the weeknight happy hour, juice running down your arms, solid beer-buzz-having demographic. This is the burger joint Bellevue desperately needed. This is the burger you need in your life.

Best burgers! And when they say they’re local burgers, they mean it. Loved their service, food, their locally made low calorie soda. And my husband loved their ale! I’d definitely come back and would recommend this place ! Kudos to the staff, chef!

My wife and I came in just after noon on a Sunday, expecting a menu full of burgers to choose from, but instead found a Sunday brunch menu. There was great brunch selection but only a few burger options. We both chose the breakfast burger and smoked deviled eggs for a starter. The breakfast burger would have been good, however the biscuit it was served on was very hard and not possible to eat without chopping thru it with a fork and knife. The breakfast potatoes were the best part of the meal. They were crunchy and well seasoned. The deviled eggs were just okay as well. The whites were a bit rubbery. While the food was underwhelming, the service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well. We probably won’t go back just based on the mediocre food.

Fresh and juicy burgers, cooked to perfection. Did not want to eat it all, but the burger was too good to put down.

We met the in-laws here and had a wonderful meal. We started with some fried pickles which were really tasty(and I do not even like pickles!). The star of the meal was the local burger. I ordered mine medium rare, no house sauce and it was fantastic, every bite the perfect mix of burger, bacon, and onion. They also have top notch fries. My wife ordered a pork belly said and that was also delicious. They also have a very nice beer selection. We did not have dessert because we were too full. Definitely worth a trip!

Came here awhile back when it first opened and thought the food was very mediocre. But I try not to judge a place based on one visit, so this low stars review is based in my second visit for a Sunday brunch. At first, everything seemed great, friendly and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, brunch menu with a good selection. We ordered a southern eggs Benedict and a breakfast burger, both are classics with a small twist. What came out was utterly disappointing. The potato hash was not only completely burnt and dry, it was lukewarm and stale. The pork shoulder in the eggs Benedict was also dry and low quality. The worst part was actually the English muffin of the breakfast burger; it was extremely stale, texture of old cardboard, it must have been expired for weeks! It’s been hours since we ate and our stomaches have not yet recovered. The reason this review still has any stars is the great service. We told the waitress about the burnt hash and she kindly gave us some regular fries as replacement. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that we will return again. The quality is simply unacceptable for a place that charges and markets itself as quality gourmet burger joint.

Just became my number burger place. Try the local burger it is huge, but the bone marrow butter and fried onions made it incredible, plus it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. If you like burgers and don’t stop in, in Bellevue you are missing something incredible. Keep it up guys!

Great place with really nice and professional staff. But the $ 21 cost of their Local Burger is outrageous. It’s pretty good, but no way is it worth the money. I’ve had better burgers for half the cost, so what exactly are we paying extra for here? Local shouldn’t mean«let’s charge more because it’s the hip thing to do». Set a different trend yeah? Anyway, their pumpkim seeds were tasty, a bit sweet, a bit spicy. Fried pickles were promising but the batter falls right off so you’re really just eating a hot pickle. The dip was an odd choice of mustard? I don’t know but flavors didn’t meld well. And their fries were okay I guess. But what’s with this other trend of frying the $#@! out of the potatoes? A plate of dark brown isn’t visually appealing to me. I may return someday, but again… the cost really is a bummer. Consider another place to eat unless you feel like splurging just for the hell of it.

My boyfriend and I like to come here because our dog is able to sit with us on the patio and is near the Bellevue Downtown Park where we frequent. And as of lately the staff has started to remember our dog, and has even given her a plate of complimentary bacon! Such a nice gesture. I’m a huge fan of burgers, and for anyone who is particular about their meat and/or where their food comes from then you will appreciate the mission of Local Burger, as most of their ingredients comes from a 360-mile radius. Local products make better food. And that is the case with Local Burger. I’ve been telling myself to try a different burger, but always seem to be drawn by the Classic Burger with Cheese, just because it’s a sure win. It’s always so juicy and delectable, that I can never finish it in one sitting. I always take the other half home, which makes for awesome leftovers. The fries are hand-cut and not too crispy nor are they wilted. But if you don’t mind splurging for an extra two bucks, get the beet salad as a side. They use red and golden beets with arugula and blue cheese. It’s by far my favorite beet salad around town. The happy hour is a good deal, as you can get a basic cheeseburger and fries for five bucks. The beers are also a dollar off during then, which is awesome because the long list of beers on draft are all local. Duh.

I wish I could fit Local Burger in my pocket and bring it out to Madison, a city full of foodies that I’m sure would dig the farm to table menu and the deliciousness of everything it has to offer. I think it’d be really appreciated, plus I’d then be able to eat there everyday. Which I would do. Because it’s great. We came an hour til close, but we’re seated without hesitation. Our server, Shelby, was also working as hostess and busser, but was extremely attentive and sweet. We enjoyed her banter and friendly conversation. Seriously, she deserves some recognition for a job well done. I ordered the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. Bacon was crispy, burger cooked to my specifications, and the peanut butter was an extremely quirky but nice touch. In fact, all of their burgers have a little crazy twist to them. Only wish I could of tried more while I was there.

I don’t think there’s anything special about this place at all. I ordered their soup of the day which was the cheeseburger soup, and had the kale Caesar salad. The soup was just thick and bland… it wasn’t served hot either. I liked the salad, but the chicken was dry. We also ordered the hillbilly burger, and I did not like their bbq sauce on it. The last thing was the chocolate ganache and peanut butter cake; it was so dry!

I would not say that this is the«best» burger in town. I definitely have had better, and probably enjoy five guys better. But you come to local burger, because its locally situated in the midst of old town bellevue. It has a cute atmosphere, and I would definitely love to check it out during a beautiful summer day to take advantage of the cute out door seating area. Husband’s Ramen burger was too overly sweet. It took away too much of the burger that he wasn’t able to finish it. Fries are the thin, not overly crispy fries. so I didn’t finish my fries. What was amazing? THEIRONIONRINGS! The batter and crisp levels were amazing! Wish they gave you more than 3 – 4 large rings per order tho. That is close to $ 1 per ring! Overall, we still enjoyed trying out the place, and people watching. The place is super tiny, so come in smaller groups. Walk around downtown bellevue, or after. to get the full effect of «local» burger :)

This review is just for their weekend brunch. They offer brunch from 9AM-3PM on the weekends! I love that brunch time is extended here. I ordered the Benedict Biscuit. Now, I’ve never had Eggs Benedict before. The hollandaise sauce was a bit too much-I had to scrap some of it off because it was just too much sauce. But otherwise than that, it tasted really good. I love the biscuits-next time, I will order extra biscuits. They were just so fluffy and soft. It also came with a side of seasoned potatoes, which tasted good also. I also ordered a non alcoholic ginger beer to go with my food. I love the fact that almost all of their food is sourced locally and from organic and humane farms. Even the ginger beer that I ordered was made in Port Angeles, WA! That goes to show that they really care about supporting our local farmers/suppliers and making the freshest and healthiest food possible! Overall, the brunch food was good. The waitress gave good customer service. I would like to come back and try their specialty, the burger!

This is a nice little burger place in «Old» Bellevue downtown. I went here for a late lunch on a Saturday with a group of Unilocalers, and we got to try many different items. I liked the Grindhouse Burger which had an aioli dressing that was great. The Blue burger with the blue cheese was good too. The Mongolian Burger had some crunchy noodles on it and I found the dressing too sweet for my liking. The onion rings were big and crunchy. The ingredients were all good and fresh. The bartender also crafted a cucumber based cocktail that was very refreshing and well made. It is fairly reasonably priced for Bellevue downtown area. The parking is pretty sparse and you’ll probably have to find street parking. If you can get the booths near the bar that is nicer seating or there is a main area too. A good place to get burgers in Bellevue.

I first discovered Local Burger through a Unilocal event, which I enjoyed so much that I came back again with the teen. We thought it would be fun to sit outside, then discovered outside was a little too chilly, and were quickly moved back inside — no problem. The interior of the restaurant has a «refined rustic» vibe, with lots of woods, dark-painted walls, and cool bulb pendant lamps. I liked the display of apothecary-type alcohol bottles above the windows. The food was good. We started with hush puppies which were well-seasoned and beautifully presented. I’d previously had the deviled eggs which had a nice, unexpected horseradish kick. I had the Mongolian burger, which has a crispy noodle topping and delicious sauce, but mostly I love the grassfed beef — so delicious. I went with a Brussels sprout side, made roasted with big chunks of bacon — you can’t go wrong with bacon, right? It’s probably the only time I’ve ever ordered Brussels sprouts with a burger and possibly the only place I ever would. The kid had a house burger, stripped down to the essentials — burger, cheese and a bun — and liked it. Her fries were fabulous. She also ordered a side of mac and cheese which also included bacon — because, you know, bacon. I liked the interesting assortment of sides, which elevated the experience from burgers to dinner. I loved the diet soda — whatever it was — it was a small craft brand and so, so delicious. The server was pleasant and his suggestions were spot-on. I appreciate a business that is ethical about its sourcing, and makes it transparent to the customer: There’s a board in the dining room that lists the sources for the various meats and ingredients used. The kid and I agreed, it’s a great burger, and we look forward to our next visit.

3.5 stars I preferred the brunch to dinner, probably because bottomless mimosas were involved. The chicken & waffle dish I had was really good though it wasn’t as pretty as others I’ve had. The chicken pieces were small and the fried shell was pretty dark and thin. The syrup that accompanied it had chunks of fat on the top layer. That being said it was all delicious, including the waffle which was cooked perfectly and had a great buttery flavor on its own. Bottomless mimosas were so refreshing and had the right proportions of juice and champagne. Such a bargain at $ 15/person. We had four carafes between the two of us. When I went for dinner I had the pepper burger with fries and an IPA. I was impressed with their beer selection and they have build-your-own beer taster trays. The cocktail menu was also on-point. I’m pretty selective when it comes to burgers and this one was pretty average as well as the fries. We did have the peanut butter bon bons for dessert and they were yummy! Came with freezer jam and a milk shooter. The location is ideal for us since we live a few blocks away and can walk. Otherwise there’s street parking up and down Main Street. Service wasn’t bad but both servers I had didn’t seem that knowledgeable about the menu and nice enough but seemed inexperienced. Since it’s in my ‘hood, I’ll definitely be returning for brunch and post-dinner cocktails and dessert.

Dare I say it? The Eastside is catching up to Seattle and fast! Gone are the days that I dread crossing 520. Not because of the toll, but because if I’m there more than a few hours I’ll want to grab a meal or a bite. Just a few years ago options felt limited to places like Johnny Rockets or the Cheesecake Factory. Now you can find a lot of great businesses to support that are locally based. Local Burger lands high on that list. Apart from doing cool things like hosting trivia nights and other local events, these folks are making the best burgers in town, hands down. Sourced from local farms, nearly all of the ingredients are from WA or the PNW, too. This means beer, liquor, veggies, fruits, meat, grains, you name it! I was really impressed with the space, the layout, and more importantly, the food. I tried a beet salad, fries and some sliders and everything was outstanding. This is definitely on my top places to eat/drink when on the Eastside.
