I went into this location for brakes based upon the two reviews on this location. It was a great visit. As suggested, no hidden fees or gouging, good customer service, and finished when promised. I don’t love taking my car in and appreciate the honesty and treatment I received. I would recommend this location for brakes and other repairs.

I went to this Midas in Bellevue because I had a mailer coupon for a good deal on an oil change, which my car badly needed– we put on about 100+ miles a day.
I called and made an appointment on the phone and was pleasantly surprised that they were flexible with the appointment times. When I drove up, the manager talked to me about which kind of oil change I wanted and went straight to work! Ed, the manager, was really great about showing me my old oil that he took out (I like mechanics who show me what is being done and assuring me that work is actually being done.)
Ed told me about some other recommended services that my car needed, without any pressure. (I hate being pressured and up-​sold). Because of his approach and his patience in explaining in detail why the services were needed and what would happen eventually if they weren’t done (again he said this without any pressure or fear-​tactics), I decided on a few added services. I got my engine oil flushed and my power steering fluid changed. My car is almost 12 years old and these services had never been done so I knew it was about time anyway. Ed showed me the old fluids he took out after each service and what he was replacing them with, which made me feel comfortable that it was about time these services were done. Ed also found some $ 10 coupons for me for both services, so I saved money.
Ed’s approach was great! I felt like he was a friend, honestly telling me what should be done and what could wait to be done. He told me I could wait on my brakes for another 30k and that I had a good year left on my timing belt.
Good advice, service I could trust and I will definitely be going back to Ed at Midas instead of spending a ton of money at my Honda dealership for the same services.

I got my brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced last year from this location. At the time they provided a year warranty on the work (I don’t remember if it covered labor). I’ve had my car for 6 years without trouble and in under a year after brake replacement the brakes started squealing again! I took my car to them again and they said everything was «fine» and that perhaps the brake pads were a bit cracked. Since it was under warranty I asked them to replace the pads and was told that labor would be charged even if pads werent. I agreed to the amount quoted (about 73 dollars) only to be slapped with a 190 or so bill for resurfacing the rotors again. What’s the point of a warranty if I have to shell out this much for what can be best described as shady workmanship the first time around?
Avoid the Midas ‘touch’ to your car. Highly disappointed customer.

As I read the review below, I thought differently.
Saturday I had called this location asking for prices and quotations for transmission, brake and power steering flush work to be done on my car. Their manager, Alex Mark was VERY helpful and friendly. He quoted everything including taxes. When I thought I had called the Factoria location, he told me that he was the one in downtown Bellevue area next to Barrior Motors and I almost made the mistake of driving over to Factoria to get serviced. Thank goodness he pointed that out.
I had also called late in the day– around 4 pm and normally I would have to set an appointment to get work done. But Alex was kind enough to squeeze me in as the last car of the day to be worked on and they did a very quick and excellent job on my car! He quoted me to be out by 530 and I left the shop a little before.
The mechanic, John, who was working on my car, made sure my other fluids were at the correct level and they didn’t even charge me for it. They were VERY friendly, very efficient and I didn’t see anything wrong. They didn’t try to charge me hidden fees or anything– considering as I am a female, mechanics/​dealerships/​auto related people are notorious for upcharging the female species.
Since I have a few other problems that my car need servicing in future dates, I WILL go back to this location. They are THAT great!
Customer service there was very well delivered.

Hi Vicky — be careful with any Midas. As you can see by the reviews on the Factoria Midas, these guys are very careless with vehicles — especially brakes. And according to another reviewer, the same franchisee owns both Midas locations (plus a few more).
If you’re just having them replace lights and such that’s no big deal. But for brakes, Midas is the last shop that I’d trust.
They installed faulty calipers on my car, replaced brakes that didn’t need replacing, and their 45-​point brake inspection failed to find a cut in my brake line (or possibly caused the cut).
The Managers response when I brought this up to him: «Take a Walk.» Ironically, this is what you’ll be doing if you have your brakes serviced by Midas.

Great Service, Very knowledgeable staff, Fixed my Ford well in time and worked after hours to deliver my vehicle same day. Saved me a lot of money (more than half) in comparison to the Ford dealer’s estimate. This is the place I will go for my car servicing now onwards.
