Accutint Bellevue

I’ve gone to Accutint Bellevue a few times now. The first time was to get a clear bra installed on my new Forester. They did a great job, I can barely see the lines and I expect it to stand the test of time.
The second time was to have my engine cleaned out after I found a dead rat and a small nest in there. I brought it in, they took a quick look to see how bad it was and they were able to take care of me on the spot. They got it into a bay and in an hour they had cleaned it out, steam cleaned it, and I was back on the road.
I’ll be back and I’d recommend it to my friends and family.

A few years have gone by since I had three cars tinted at #AccutintBellevue. A move to #Miami and three years later, the tint on all three cars still looks like new. No peeling or bubbling. Very pleased. Thanks Jay!

I contacted Accutint based on the good reviews. They quickly got back to me with a quote and we scheduled a time. They have a nice large waiting room and you’ll usually see some really nice cars in to get work on… always a good sign! The folks there are very easy to talk to and their service was promptly delivered and on time. During install there was an OEM label on the inside of the glass that was removed which had not been discussed previously. We discussed this and they offered to replace the label, they ordered it in and I picked up from them. Great folks, great company and I would definitely recommend them or use them again when I need a car tinted.

So I’ve had my windows done at the Seattle acutint when they were still the same business. After a couple years of me hitting my drivers window with my seat belt, it needed to be replaced. It was all my fault that it needed to be replaced. I took it to the Bellevue, they told me since it was done at Seattle they were not going to touch it cause Seattle had done it. Just because you had a falling out with the other owner, you don’t want to make money and replace it. Makes Sense.
The Service is horrible. They are way over priced, I can find better deals, and have my car back in the same day. The Owner is full of himself. He’s way to money hungry, and your Porsche isn’t that cool, Sorry. Maybe take this and have better customer service.

I took my 2015 Lexus IS here for a tint and opticoat for the car and wheels. They did a great job and was able to do it with a turnaround time of 24 hours.
The car is shiny and tint looking great. The people here are really friendly and open to answering any questions. They do a ton of high end cars here so I trusted them over the competitors. They charge much less than Metropolitan Detail.

Craig is my go-​to guy when it comes to anything concerning detail work for my ’09 328i. His attention to detail and passion for what he does really makes the difference.
I also had my car tinted the same day using 35% tint, and it couldn’t have turned out any better. This is my 4^th car that I have had tinted and will continuing that in the future.
When I went to pickup the car, the front receptionist and owner were very respectful of my time, and the paper work was ready to go when they said. Craig also finished with reviewing what he did with the car in terms of detailing, and showed me every little detail he and his assistant Fong put into it. Superb.

I recently won a window tint from Accutint in Bellevue as a door prize at a car club event. Prior to the install I visited the shop to find out exactly what I had won and get a recommendation on how much of a tint I should get. The sales personnel were very helpful with the tint selection, explaining the procedure and giving me a time estimate. They even voluntered to take my car over to the Porsche Dealership when the it was finished for some service work. It’s been over a month since the install and the windows look great. I’m very pleased with the service and highly recommend Accutint based on my experience.

Amazing job! Very, very detailed and high quality window tint + Xpel full front paint protection installation on my Audi RS5. I have dealt with a number of shops over the years and quite frankly the quality of Accutint’s work was much higher than previous shops in the same price range. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend their services.

I had done a headlight restoration with Accutint about 2 weeks ago — a few days after, I noticed there was still some noticeable haze on both lenses and especially on the drivers side. I drive by to inquire about what can be done (if anything) and they said they’d redo the drivers side as it looks like it could be worked on more.
Accutint was able to work on it again today and I must say, Craig went above and beyond and not only cleared the haze on the drivers side, he went back and worked on the passenger lens too and cleared that lens perfectly.
I was beyond happy and impressed that Accutint stands by their reputation and work. I will be back — Thank you!

After being recommended by Lexus of Bellevue, I called, and was able to bring my car in the next morning. I couldn’t be happier. The owners are true professionals, and service is top of the line. Very reasonable. Lots of very hign-​end vehicles in the shop, and my 6 year old Lexus was treated with the same care as those. Real pros.

Brought in my new, black 2013 Volkswagen CC VR6 for window tinting. I was well informed by the staff on the various tinting options and percentages available. They called a day early to remind me of my appointment. Dropped my car off at 11AM and one of the staff was kind enough to drop me off and pick me up from Bellevue Square while I waited for my windows to be tinted. The car was done at 4PM, as promised.
The tinting looks great and the quality of workmanship is excellent… very clean edges, no bubbles — they look like OEM factory installed tinted windows! I am very happy and satisfied with the service and work done on my car and would highly recommended Accutint.

Just had my car detailed here last week — and it was a wreck, considering I worked as a family assistant. Really happy with the carpet and fabric protector that was put on.

If you want to find the best care for your car, go to where the most expensive cars get their work done. The fact that these guys had two $ 80K+ cars in their shop when I walked in definitely gave me the confidence that they know what they’re doing.
I took my Jeep in to have the windows tinted. Loved how they took the time to educate me on what they do, how they do it and ensured the tint I got was the best for my money. I happened to catch the owner when he was in the office and we got to chatting a bit about his Porsche (which he races) and his two Rottweilers. Super friendly guy. I had him add a detail to my jeep as well.
The tint is awesome with a perfect edge to each window. Having done it myself years ago I can appreciate the attention to detail that takes.

Ya so I just called Accutint to get some info on getting my car windows tinted. And spoke to Cindy, WOW! That was the rudest person I have ever spoke to! So my advice is to NOT CALL ACCUTINT OF BELLEVUE! Wow can’t even imagine how they are still in business they was they talk to potential clients. Good Luck!

Just had paint protection put on my shiny new Veloster Turbo. Since it’s a 2013, they needed to manually cut all the pieces for it apparently but they didn’t even try to push a «premium» for it, just very politely advised it may take slightly longer.
Sydney at the desk was especially helpful trying to figure out which option to get and didn’t push to try to sell me the highest option, just honestly laid out what option was what which I appreciated. I dropped my car off at 1PM and it was ready by mid-​morning, very quick! Not only quick, but very well-​done. I could hardly even tell there was anything on it! I will definitely be a returning customer should the need arise!

I had my windows tinted here on 2÷24÷2012. When I called Accutint to inquire about getting my windows tinted on my Acura TSX, they were very nice. They guaranteed a lifetime warranty, 100 percent satisfaction on their work, and that their work was OEM quality. The receptionist was very persistent in winning my business and kept telling me that they provide work for the local Porsche dealership because of the quality of their work.
After my windows were tinted, I drove the car home assuming everything was fine. I’ve had the windows tinted on all of my cars in the past, so I am not new to window tinting. After one day I began to notice bubbles in the tint. This is normal and I thought that they would go away. After 8 days, the bubbles remained and I also noticed that on one of the rear windows, it looked like the film was not cut properly. I also finally rolled down the window and noticed that there was a definite window gap on my two front windows. They claimed that their workmanship was OEM quality, this looked like a sloppy job and who ever cut the window film did not cut it right.
When I took the car in, the sales manager told me that «the window gap and the uneven film cut on the side of the rear windows was a result of Acura windows, because they shift, as they roll up.» I didn’t think this was right so I went home and did my own research on a couple forums and what he told me was completely wrong. Keep in mind that when I went to see them the second time, I was wearing a sweater, cap, and jeans. So I went back a third time in my work clothing (I am a small business banker) and you know what happened, that same sales manager apologized to me and told me he was sorry and didn’t notice how bad it was. Sure, I know what really happened and it is sad to say but image means a lot. There is a difference in the level of service you receive if you walk in wearing a suit versus baseball cap, jeans, and a sweater. You would hope that this was not the case but in my experience with Accutint, it sadly was true.
They fixed the issue and the sales manager guaranteed me that he made sure everything was satisfactory. Meaning, there was no window gap or bubbles in the tint. Well, I waited 3 weeks later to roll down my window and you got it, there was still window gap in the driver side front window. In addition, my rear window still had bubbles. It looks like there was some dust that got into the film or the person doing the work did not prep it correctly.
I am never bringing my car back to Accutint. First of all, they charge more for window tinting then other places in the Eastside. I thought that since they were expensive, I would be paying for the quality of the workmanship. instead I am paying for the lack of quality and the time I wasted bringing my car back to get things corrected. This is my first post in Unilocal and probably my last. I am a pretty reasonable individual but because of my negative experience with this company, I felt that I was obligated to let anyone else know what to expect if they decide to get work done at this place. I also recommend going through the car forums when choosing places to tint your car or get other work done on it. You will also see more negative experiences that other local car owners have had with Accutint.
I could have gone back a fourth time to get my windows tinted again. However considering how much I paid for the job versus the time I would lose from work with my clients, it was not worth it. You can only give a company so many chances to make up for their mistakes. I am sure if I was the owner of the Porsche dealership my experience would have been different.

I just got my black BMW detailed, and Accutint team did a great job. Prompt service, and free wifi while you wait. Recommended.

I had my SUV recently hand washed and waxed at Accutint Bellevue, and I couldn’t be happier. Yes the regular price is a little expensive, but the end result is well worth the price. I’ve spent much more for detailing that didn’t have as good of results. I’ll be back.

I had a VW GTI tinted here after hearing amazing reviews. Unfortunately, the customer service was very poor. The tint itself came out nice but my window didn’t roll up correctly and I had to take it back in for them to align it. I had my next car tinted elsewhere.

Had both my vehicles tinted here. The first time was a success without any issue. It’s been over 5 years and still no peeling.
Second time there was some mis-​communication and they tinted my car pitch black. I don’t know anything about the percentages… that’s their job. I just tell them what I want and they are supposed to figure out the rest. My second vehicle already had a factory tint on the back windows, and I told them I wanted the second car to be the same tint as my first. I couldn’t see a darn thing out the window driving the car home that night — basically I got a limo tint! The guy I initially spoke with was nice, but he was a newbie. They’re called professionals for a reason; otherwise, I might as well try to do it myself.
At the end of the day, everything was taken care of. No harm done. All I lost was some time of having to go back to their shop. They fixed the tint for me at no cost so I was happy.
I just wanted to keep the sun out and the car cool, not look like a pimp!
