Been going for 10 months now– I feel like i’m getting stronger, and have yet to get tired of it! such a good break from the work week, and helps get back in tune with body.

Malia is absolutely great! I’m pretty new to Pilates and my wife talked me into doing some duet sessions with her last year at another studio. I didn’t quite get the hang of it as I’ve always lifted weights and did more gym-style exercises. We started seeing Malia last summer and the instruction is awesome. Pilates is an excercise of precision and concentration and it’s hard to learn the proper form. She’s very«hands on» and shows us exactly where our bodies need to be and how they need to move in order to do the exercise correctly. She’s got such an extensive background in training that she has a large toolbox. I like lifting weights and circuit training and my wife likes more traditional Pilates. Malia is able to blend the two together so that we both can enjoy the workout while doing the same exercises. Every once in awhile one of us will have some sort of ache or pain and Malia is able to work around it. She always emphasizes that the hour is ours and is very flexible and listens to our needs. Looking forward to more workouts with her!

Malia is a great instructor and can tailor the workouts around my injuries. I always feel challenged and encouraged and I really look forward to workouts with her. She knows her stuff, she is fun to work with, and I recommend her to everyone I know who wants to try Pilates.
