Sunglass Hut

My coworker and I visited this store because my $ 200 sunglasses (from Sunglass Hut) broke while on vacation. The screw came out so the entire lens fell out. We managed to find a repair kit while on vacation and fix it one time. The same thing happened on the last day of the vacation and I nearly stepped on the lens when it dropped in a parking lot, but fortunately it didn’t break or scratch.
There were two young women working in the store. The first immediately told me that I could purchase a new pair for 50% off. I told her I’d first like to get them fixed vs. buying a new pair. The other staff person found a replacement screw and fixed them. I asked if this happened often. The staff person said that she’d recently seen about four other pairs of them come in for the same issue «if that tells me anything.» I asked if they had a repair kit I could buy. She said they didn’t and that I could find one at a drugstore. She said I could come in anytime to get them fixed.
For about ten minutes, my coworker was looking around at glasses with absolutely no one helping her. She was asking me how they looked and at one point had to squeeze past a cart one of the staff was using, but still no help. We saw a monitor with a self-​help program to pick glasses, but that wasn’t working.
I’m giving only two stores for the poor (nonexistent) customer service for my coworker and the less than enthusiastic service that I received. I got my glasses fixed, but it was apparent that neither of the staff wanted to be there.

Fantastic Staff Makes the Store
I actually purchased my sunglasses at Nordstrom’s. An hour later I walk into Sunglass Hut to see their selection. The selection was better, actually, but it was the store manager Dante who really left a positive impression on me.
Dante took the glasses I just purchased at a competitor, and heated/​formed them to fit my head. Nordstrom’s didn’t do this, but I wasn’t expecting it so I wasn’t disappointed.
That was ten months ago. I returned this last weekend and Dante again gladly took my sunglasses purchased at Nordstrom’s and re-​fitted them for me. He does it with a smile on his face, every time. This spring when I need a new set of sunglasses, I’m going to Sunglass Hut, no questions asked. The service alone makes the trip worth it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped me save some money. They could use one more person on staff to help everyone should they get busy. Fortunately I stopped in when the store was empty and got great personal service. Others had to wait a bit, though.

This little store has a big selection for the size. The staff is friendly and very helpful suggesting different glasses. The staff also has a great knowledge about their product ie. which ones are polarized, what is the advantage of one color lense verses another, which ones are hard to break etc.
Their glasses are pricey, but they are quality sunglasses and the service you receive is worth the price.
This store is found on the second floor of the Bellevue Square mall, also in the mall you can find an offshot of sunglass hut not sure how their glasses vary we found our pair of sunglasses in the first one so didn’t look in the second.

I love coming in here and looking at all the gorgeous sunglasses. This time my bf and I actually went in to get him a pair. He got a pair of really cool arnette’s that looked great on him, and they were a good price (around $ 100). The sales guys was really helpful too.

Purchased a pair of Persol in June and they came apart the other day. Stopped in the see what I needed to do. The manager Dante’ help and replaced them on the spot even thouigh I didn’t have my receipt. Shop her with confidence. PS look my Persol Sun Glasses.

If there was an option to post a zero star, that’s what I would rate this store as. Poor customer service. I went in to get my frames tighten, and I got the «if you come back in 30 minutes, I could maybe do it for you! I’m the only one in the store right now.» she might as well said I’m overwhelmed with the 3 customers I have in the store! I walked over to Market Optical and they took care of me there :). Thank you Market Optical! Sunglass Hut, it takes less than 10 seconds to tighten!

Got new pairs of Prada and Gucci shades for the upcoming summer. Staff was friendly, and didn’t seem to mind me trying on about 30 pairs of glasses before I found the ones I wanted.
I’m sure I’ll be back since I can’t seem to hold on to sunglasses for more then about two months until something happens to them…

Thanks for the new shades. They let you try on as many as you want and they polish up nice and shinny for you. They are knowledgeable about which shapes would compliment your face. These aren’t the flimsy $ 5 pair that you wear once and then are searching for the screw that fell out and now they are only secured on one side. These aren’t the pair that pinch the bridge of your nose during the day until you have a headache. These are not the type of sunglasses that you don’t care if someone accidentally sits on them because you left them in the front seat and they snapped them into two. No these are the one you will drive back over 100 miles to retrieve if you left them at a restaurant. Awesome style selection not so awesome prices but so worth it for the exact glass slipper like tailor shape for my face.
