All American Eyeglass Repair

I came here to get my mother’s eyeglasses repaired. I sent pictures to Alex first to confirm that he can repair before I drove there. All the other repair shops said it was unrepairable. Alex finished the job within 45 minutes. My mother was very pleased with his work and would recommend them to anyone needing repair. He essentially saved us over $ 500 by not having to get new eyeglasses thank you Alex we appreciate you.

Came in to get a spring hinge replacement, this is the place to get professional and precision jobs done well. Alex gave a number of options as to how he could fix my frames, including price points and their service guarantee for one year. Less than 30 minutes later, you’d never know my glasses were even broken! In the meantime, a few other customers came in with what sounded like unique jobs, but you could tell the store owner knew his craft well.

For a small shop in a big city, these guys were friendly and attentive. I didn’t mind waiting for a few minutes because I could tell they knew what they were doing. I had a pair of Ray Ban’s that needed a new lens. For some reason Ray Ban charges $ 100 plus for one lens. Rather than charging me that much, the associates said «I wouldn’t pay that much, you should just get a new pair». I appreciated that they gave me advice instead of just charging me. Thank you gentlemen. I’d recommend anyone come and visit you if needed.

This place is amazing. I had a bad break on my titanium frames and I thought they were done for. Super friendly staff and they fixed them perfectly for $ 50, only took 30 minutes! Didn’t know places like this existed, what a great surprise!

My glasses are 6 years old and pretty beat. I accidentally sat on my glasses and broke the arm hinges and twisted them pretty bad. They are plastic frames so I was worried they were shot. I dropped them off, went to play at the park with my son and two hours later I picked up glasses that fit like brand new for $ 58. The guys were really nice, their dog really is that sweet and I’d totally use them again. Can’t say enough good things about the service.

I was recommended here by several glasses shops after they said they would be unable to fix my glasses frames (the ear stem hinge snapped). One glasses shop actually claimed they were unfixable and I would need new frames. But these guys were able to fix my frames in about an hour and for $ 49. I can’t even tell where they were broken. I’d recommend these guys to anyone. They were very nice, quick, and great work.

Found this place on Unilocal and read a lot of good things. So I figured I’d bring my broken glasses in to get them fixed, so I made my way there yesterday.
The dude who assisted me with everything was very nice and knowledgeable about everything. He took my glasses to get them welded back together along with some other adjustments. It took about an hour or so to get them repaired and only costs 64 dollars! The place I went to in Downtown Seattle wanted at least 85+tax for repairs, that’s not even worth it!
I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed by the service, the kindness, everything! You also get a one year guarantee as well!

So far, so good.
This tiny shop, had a friendly staff of 1, who looked at my mangled metal frames and said ‘yes, we can save these’.
I have two pairs, identical, and I planned to wear them all my life so this is good news. The employee cheerily said that because they were wire, they could keep fixing them indefinitely.
They said they guarantee their welds for a year!
The cost was $ 49 dollars and a bit more, I will not know the final cost till I pick them up, but so far so good.
I will revise this review if I am not happy with my glasses
when I pick them up.
This shop is hard to find, but it is just to one side of BLAZING BAGELS, so if you can find that, and are facing that, just go to the left a ¼ of a block.
It is tucked back a bit, and hard to see right away.
Their business cards have a map on the back which is a very good idea.
FYI if you are nervous around dogs, there is a giant golden lab on the floor, who wags his tail when you say ‘good doggie’ but does not get up.
Not even when offered a dog biscuit (which I carry at all times). Does NOT look like an effective guard dog, but a total angel. Probably worth patronizing the shop if only to see the dog.

Needed to get a nose pad re-​welded to the frame and came to All American Eyeglass Repair. They were super friendly, the repair was quite reasonable ($ 49), it was done in 45 mins and is guaranteed for a year. They even have a parking spot for you, an increasingly-​rare benefit in DT Bellevue. I’d definitely use them again.

These guys are so awesome! I needed some darker sunglasses that are commonly available. I took in some frames and in less than a week I had some extra dark sunglasses. Highly recommended!

This place is the bomb. I have been avoiding getting my nice (but super bent due to a sitting on them accident) sunglasses repaired for about a year but obviously I won’t ever again because I brought them in and 30 minutes and $ 19 later they are back to new! Super cool guys working here and adorable sleeping pup in the corner, not what I expected for an eyeglass repair shop.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I dropped my glasses off and we went to do some Christmas shopping and had lunch. When I went back, the glasses were ready. The repair is solid and my glasses fit better than ever. On top of it, with tax, it only cost $ 53. Highly recommended.

I took two pairs of decades old eyeglasses that were falling to pieces to these folks. They were in such bad shape I didn’t expect they could do anything. Came back in an hour and a half and they had two pairs of glasses that looked brand new. How did they do it? No idea. Magic most likely. Go to these folks and you will not be disappointed

The people were very nice, however their communication and service was terrible. We brought our sunglasses here for a repair over 3 months ago. They advised the repair could take 1 – 3 weeks, 3 weeks being the longest depending on shipping on the lens. Over the past three months we have had to call them numerous times to get updates (along with countless unanswered calls because they rarely answered). They advised they had a problem receiving the necessary parts but would get them soon. We called a final time (after 3 months) to see what was going on. They apologized that they had forgotten to call & let us know they can’t get ray ban parts anymore. Later they called to say they could probably get the part. DONT GO HERE! They never call to update, and forget to tell you they can’t repair your glasses after all! Learn from our mistake and find somewhere else to go.

Top Class Business — they service a niche market and they do it really well.
My Guess frame weakened and the right lens popped out. Within 75 minutes of me walking through the door they scheduled a fix and had the glasses back to me. Solder was colored matched and finished glasses are solid.
You will not find a better walk in /​mail in eye glass repair specialist in WA state. And make sure you say hi to their dog :)

This is the second time that Samson saved my rear.
The first time I didn’t have a pair of spare and needed to go to work the very same night. He got me in and out in an hour and I still have those glasses with me as backup.
This time, my current pair of glasses decided to snap off right at metal arm that connects the side to the top of the frame. I stopped by All American again to ask for help. 60 bucks later, my glasses are good as new. They never cease to amaze me. Even though I’ll be moving back to Seattle, they have earned my business and I’ll always come back.

My experience here was awesome. Called in to get a quick estimate and I was given a range of 40 – 60 dollars for some expensive frames. Turned out to be within the range, great service, upfront and professional. If I ever bust a pair of glasses again, I now know where to go.

Amazing service! The screws on the side of my favorite glasses fell out, leaving one of my stems completely fallen off. I decided to head to All American to see if they could maybe do a quick fix.
I walked in, was greeted warmly, handed over my glasses, and was out of there in 40 minutes. The total cost? $ 20. It’s a walk-​in shop, so no appointment is required. Maybe I’ll have them fix all my other busted pairs of glasses, too. :)

I was in Bellevue and thought about going to Lenscrafters. Then I came across All American Eyeglass Repair thanks to our Unilocaler friends here ;) I decided to stop by and WOW… I was not disappointed.
A screw came off my eyeglass frame. The owner (I forgot to ask his name) inserted a new screw at no charge. I insisted on paying something and he told me to just spread good word of mouth for him :) Fortunately I had a few dollars on me and left them on the counter for him.

I managed to step on my glasses today… Man does that suck when you wear the kinda coke bottles I do. Brought my buster specs in at 3:30, and by 5 they were ship-​shape! And they were cheaper than the original quote too. Glad to be able to see again, that’s for sure!
If your not a fan of Bellevue… Like me… Then pop over to the library nearby or Barnes & noble, both are right close and a good way to knock off the time!
