Didn’t like the service at all, cashier was pretty rude. But if you get a Gyro with a side of fries. It’ll totally make up for it! Best thing is the price!

This place has become better with the new management. They serve Parathas after 1.30pm which are filling, freshly made and delicious. I have also tried muttor paneer curry which is yummy. They serve Indian chapati on request. There jalebi’s are good as well.

This place was awful. I went for lunch and beat the crowd and it took them 30 minutes to make me a falafel! Not to mention they got through the 10 orders that were after me before they called mine. The woman in front of me got a gyro and had the same experience. Once I got my 30 minute falafel, it tasted terrible! With how hungry I was, it should have been great regardless. But no, there was basically no sauce and the deep fried bit just tasted like char and oil. I’m never going here again!

Bad service and bland food. They wouldn’t let me use the restroom even though I ate inside. He told me to go next door. To the eye doctor? We had the curry chicken which was mediocre and the falafel salad which were like over fried rocks. Could not get my fork through them and had to add more sauce and hot sauce because the iceberg lettuce and falafel were so dry. Would not go back. Only good thing is there is 1 parking space right in front so parking is easy.

Tiny shop but quick service and delicious food! My last meal was a lamb gyro and I don’t know if it was the seasoning on the meat or the sauce they used but it was absolutely delightful! Yumm

Glad to have a gyro place close to work, right in the heart of the business district in Bellevue. Very average gyros, quick service, average prices. Not too much room to sit in the restaurant, but not an issue for me personally. Not wowed, but I was surprised by the selection available there. This is not just a gyros place, also some Indian dishes as well. Could I suggest to brown the meat a little bit? It would improve the flavor, and add a bit more tzaziki? Those two things would probably earn another star from me. :)

Excellent Indian vegetarian curry and sweets. The owner is a very friendly Sardarji. Must try Paneer Makhani, Malai kofta, Tarka dal, and Jalebi. Price is just right. Quantity is generous.

Great choices for vegetarians. Excellent spot for lunch, a quick bite, or takeout. The food overall is quite good, and at a low price point. I have always thought the service to be friendly and efficient. It just isn’t quite the right ambience for a relaxing fast casual sit down dinner. As for the food, which is after all what I care most about, here are the highlights from the vegetarian menu: Baba ghanoush — to die for! This is not usually one of my go-to dips, and yet the gyro express version is luscious, creamy and beautifully seasoned. Falafel– very good. Better if you can eat them on the spot, but still good. Spanikopita– good. Salad — the salad itself is standard, but the dressing is exceptional. Likewise the garlic yogurt sauce– they really do dressings and sauces well here. Just don’t plan to breathe on anyone who didn’t eat here with you! Dolmas — very good and even better the next day. If you love Mediterranean food and happen to be in the Crossroads area, Gyro Express is worth a visit.

Had the paneer roll here. It was very average and lacked flavor. The cashier found it very hard to communicate in English but I eventually managed to get my message through. Fries were good.

This was my first visit to grab some quick lunch. I ordered Paneer Masala. They very quickly prepared the take out box. Just when I was about to start, I realized it was chicken gravy and not paneer. I am vegetarian and this was a huge disappointment. I went back to return it and let them be aware of it. The guy at the counter asked me if I want something else to be prepared. I was skeptical and said ‘No’. However, he didn’t even care to ask if I want my money back. No way I am going again.

Salads aren’t great but that’s what I bought. I’m sure there other stuff is better.

We ordered chicken dish and a gyro plate. The food was delicious and good quantity for good price. The place is small but located right opposite to Bellevue transit center and I can definitely get regular here. The menu is not too big, but the choices are pretty good.

A good option for a quick lunch. Not my favorite place for Mediterranean, but good in a pinch. They have gyro sandwiches and Indian entrees as well. I’ve had their gyro sandwiches, their tikka masala, and their chicken biryani. Their Indian entrees are actually pretty good, and I usually have leftovers for the next day.

As someone who does not live here, when I see«Gyro Express» and I go in and see Indian dishes on the menu, it confuses me. But lucky for me, I checked Unilocal and was sort of expecting to see Indian dishes on the menu. What I was not expecting to see was a menu that is 90% Indian with a shawarma and gryo thrown in there for giggles. That said, I decided to indulge and got a chicken shawarma sandwich. The sandwich is good, it has plenty of chicken with onions, tomatoes, lettuce and combination of yogurt/hummus type sauce. It is a filling lunch for about $ 8. It is not the best shawarma sandwich, it is not the worst. For a place that is predominantly Indian, the chicken in the shawarma was pretty bland, it could use some spices/flavor, a missed opportunity there.

How I heard of this place: The Entertainment Book. Type of cuisine: Greek and Indian«Food Cuisine». Ambiance: More of a take-away joint, the actual inside setting is of one long booth along the side wall facing six tables with chairs on the opposite side. A counter at which to order and an open window space that allows customers to see the head of the chef in the back. Very casual. Sit down or take your gyro sandwich, sheesh kabab or tandoori mix grill to go. What I ordered: Due to time restraints and ease of order(and use of buy one get one free coupon) both my dining companion and I ordered the gyro — roasted meat slices, lettuce, tomato, onions and tzatziki sauce. What I loved: I did love that it was a quick and painless order. The gyro was small but satisfying and it had tzatziki sauce. Why I loved it: Simple. Efficient. Filling as a take-away early dinner and still leaving room for popcorn at the movies. Cost: Average($ 6 per gyro)

Although not the best Gyro out there by any means, it will do for Downtown Bellevue. The Gyro was served on wonderful pita bread, had a generous amount of veggies that were fresh and flavorful and had meat that was well seasoned. The portion of meat in comparison to the portion of veggies was rather small, which is disappointing. There was a light amount of sauce and a very light about of cheese served on the Gyro. The service inside was friendly and welcoming, but nothing that would not be expected from a great small business. All in all, if your looking for the best Gyro out there, this will not be the place(go to Ballard for that at Mr. Gyros), but if you want a nice quick lunch that is overall somewhat healthy(compared to other options out there of course), Gyro Express will serve your needs. Expect to spend at least $ 7 – 10 for your meal without a drink.
