Food was unbeatable, I’m sad to say. They were pretty decent when they first opened, but they’ve gone down hill since. Although the service did make the experience slightly less horrible. People do go to restaurants to eat food.

On our weekend day trip to Bellevue we went to Moksha for lunch. We heard it was a great place for Indian food and we were not disappointed! Here I got the Tandoori Chicken which was wonderful! On the menu it is stated that the Tandoori take s about fifteen minutes to prepare so don’t be in a rush. The Tandoori does have bones it so be aware, the wait staff informed me of this. Normally I am not a big fan of meat on bones but the chicken was so good it really didn’t matter. Steve got a kind of salad with eggplant with various dipping sauces which also was very delicious! If you have the Unilocal app on your phone and you do check ins be sure and check in here because they have a coupon for a free bottomless cup of chai which is fantastic!

I love indian food and this has been the first time I have been completely disappointed. Garlic naan was burned so only the edges were tasty and the I order a lamb rack and it wasn’t juicy by any means. I’m not sure how currys are but definitely not trying the here

Started with the cauliflower appetizer. This led to sharing Lamb vindaloo, chicken saag and mixed vegis. To accompany this fine mess we had garlic naan and a huge portion of rice. My mouth is still on fire. Shawn our server was attentive and helpful. Overall everything was outstanding. It isn’t cheap, but I wasn’t surprised by the price given the high rent location. Yum. Will definitely go back.

I came here from Baltimore with a friend that knew I loved Indian food and I was pleasantly surprised! From the outside the restaurant looked a little pricey so I questioned coming in the beginning. However, after viewing the menu the prices were comparable to mid-level restaurants for the same amount of food(including appetizers): around $ 9 — $ 21 depending on what you choose total. The food was DELICIOUS, the ambience was great, the wait was a tad longer than stated in the beginning but the meal was worth it. Left full and happy! If you get cold easily though have them seat you away from the door, as you can easily start to get cold.

Stumbled on this place whilst in Bellevue, having only discussed how much I missed a good curry since moving to Seattle. It had a sign outside proclaiming it served the best curry in Seattle, big claims! We walked in and it smelt amazing, I started to get excited! We ordered the samosa starter and some poppadoms, followed by the paneer saag… It was gorgeous it came with a naan bread too, it was gorgeous!!! And a taste of home!!! Thank you!!!

Stumbled into this place on Christmas eve dinner because all the other restaurants in the area were PACKED(’twas the last night for Snowflake Lane) with either a 2+ hour wait or taking reservations only. We were hungry and desperate! We were able to sit in less than 5 minutes. Their ambiance is very modern and cultural at the same time. The place felt clean and welcoming. The food though were mediocre and it took a loooong time before our orders were served. I ordered the lamb shish kebab which came on a sizzling plate, it was hot but not sizzling. We also ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken for the kids but the taste was really just very average. We’ve had better Indian food in the malls. I was able to get free chai tea by checking in at Unilocal and that was probably the only good thing we enjoyed! Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, our waiter though was a bit much. He took our chai tea away without asking if we’re done! And he took a lot of the utensils on the table and I ended up with no fork and had to ask him again for one. Funny but weird.

Came here on Christmas night before seeing a movie next door. The hostess greeted us very warmly and the space is lovely! The menu is very easy to navigate with lots of choices for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We started with chai tea — as is the norm chai tea at Indian restaurants is more of a bagged tea than a chai latte like you might be use to. It was good and kept us warm on a chilly holiday night. We started with the cauliflower appetizer(small plate)…it was delicious. Crispy and filling without being greasy. We also had the garlic naan with cucumber yogurt! Very tasty! For our main course we split the vegetable koruma and an additional side of plain naan… delicious! Overall it was a great meal with nice service in a lovely setting. What more could you want. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Moksha was ok. I’d give it a 3 star but«Meh. I’ve experienced better» is exactly how I feel about this restaurant. The food’s not bad. But, it’s a bit overpriced, and is kind of a white version of Indian food. They say everything is family style but I didn’t find portions to be much larger than something you’d get at any other restaurant. Our waiter was a bit pushy. If mediocre Indian food in a fancy atmosphere is what you’re looking for — this is the place for you. If you want good Indian food — there are better places in the area.

You order the food by selecting the protein and accompanying sauce. Yup. I don’t think I need to say any more than that, but Unilocal does, so I’ll keep typing until they are happy.

Perfect spot to drop in before or after Snowflake Lane this holiday season! They offer a wonderful selection of «thalis» — a main course of your choosing with rice and 5 side dishes. We loved the lamb saag and the butter chicken, garlic naan, and cauliflower. Save room to try the Chai Crème Brulee and a hot cup of authentic chai. Both perfect for the winter! Although some here have questioned the price, we think $ 14 – 16 for a full thali plate is really good in downtown Bellevue!

If I could give it a zero I would. The samosas were hot and ok but the rest of the food had no taste at all and came cold. The chicken tikka masala arrived about 20 minutes after all the other food was finished. It had no flavor of tikka masala at all. I have eaten lots of Indian food and never had some so bad with no taste at all. The waiter keep telling us the food would be coming and it took two times of him coming to appoligize for the food coming late. I would never return here again. I should have read the other reviews before I came as I would not have come.

Weird menu for Indian food. My normal go-to dishes weren’t served. The naan you have to order by the piece and was such a disappointment. They were out of green tea(for many weeks according to my server who was awesome!). There is nothing fantastic about this place, but it is convenient to my hotel, if I want Indian food.

Finally great Indian food. We got back from London a few months ago and have been searching unsuccessfully for good Indian cuisine, so I am finally happy to find a place almost if not just as good as the food in London. So we started off with the 7 spice shrimps, which was amazing, chicken tikka and lamb kurma. The tikka was exactly how it was in London and amazing flavor. The lamb kurma was very tender and spicy. Service was great but we were the only ones in there since they just opened. Anyhow will be back again!

This place seems to be really hit and miss. Last time we were in we got chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken(off the bone), our stand by order here, I wanted to send it back. Tonight everything is a little spicier, more flavorful and perfectly cooked. It’s a head scratcher! Tonight we also got an order of the side vegetables. But they were just lukewarm. Not piping hot. Again. Hit and miss. Also all of the prices have gone up and the menu changed three months ago.(Just in case you haven’t been in for some time.)

Overpriced and way below average indian food. They need a lesson in Indian cooking! The server was very rude and made it seem like he was doing us a favor. I usually don’t say anything bad at restaurants, but this server bothered me so much that i actually told him I didn’t like his attitude. We ordered 3 thalis — apparently they ran out of raita but neglected to tell us until we asked. The ‘chefs special dal’ was sad, the paneer sizzler was completely unseasoned. Never going back!

Have been here a couple of times, Have ordered the thali, butter chicken, paneer tikka sizzler, spinach malai kofta. with roti and naans. food is always average, always lacking in spices — even though order it 5⁄5. the roti was undercooked, part of the dough was raw. but the sauce is good. there are other places that are better, but its oki for if lazy or its there. but there are better places out there.

— Yeah, so I like the Butter Chicken… and that was pretty much it. - Food: 3 stars Price: 2 stars Ambiance: 2 stars Service: 3 stars Overall: 2.5 stars Food: I came here for«Dine Around Seattle» menu, and from that menu I ordered 7 Spice Fried Prawns, Spicy Karakudi Lamb, and Chai Crème Brulee. My husband ordered a Butter Chicken as well. The 7 Spice Fried Prawns was pretty good and spicy. The lamb is so-so and ordinary. The butter chicken has a good sauce, but I think it’s just a safe dish to order. The crème brûlée is weird since I don’t like chai as much. Price: I think the price of this restaurant is somewhat pricy, but then it is next to Bellevue Square Mall and it does have a pretty fancy decoration. I don’t really think the food is worth the price though. Ambiance: We came here around 6:30 pm in the afternoon, and it was somewhat empty with like 5 tables dining. The two guys next to us kept flirting with the waitress and she seemed like she was enjoying it(?). I don’t know if she actually went drinking with them that night, but the atmosphere was weird because I could hear everything that they’re saying since the tables are very close… Also it was strange since the manager guy came out and asked them how’s the food and everything. I guess it’s cuz they ordered a glass of wine in an Indian restaurant(???). Meh, I overheard that their bill is quite expensive. Service: The waitress refilled my water once, but she paid more attention to the table next to us. She suggested the chai crème brûlée which I didn’t like much, so… Overall: It’s nice to try fancy Indian restaurant, but I probably won’t come here again since the food isn’t impressive and the price is not very friendly ~

I’ve gone back to this place several times since my last review for their lunch specials(convenient since I work at the building across the street connected by a sky bridge) and it’s convenient to grab dinner takeout on my way home. Over time, my hubby and I nailed down our standard order: saag paneer, butter chicken, rice(included) and aloo naan. Before tonight, the last time we had grabbed takeout here was between Christmas and New Year. I remember since I had tried to convince hubby that I didn’t want to fight the holiday traffic but he convinced me to go, and I ended up hanging out in the parking lot across from Crate & Barrel while he picked up our order. Since then and tonight they must have changed ownership but if not, definitely the recipes. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed since I’ve had so many great meals there. The paneer instead of being rectangular it was square. The naan was a thicker than usual and under cooked. The cilantro chutney was overly salty. There are several great Indian restaurants in the area and I’m not sure I’ll go back here based on tonight’s experience, as I’m pretty sure that what I had tonight represented a change in recipes that in my opinion are not nearly as good as before.
