Great authentic Thai food here. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will always come back when in Bellevue.

Nibbana is a local thai restaurant in Bellevue downtown serving mainly the office crowd. We ended up here because or original choice was shut. It is located in a standalone building with some parking outside it. The restaurant is pretty large from the inside, and can fit a lot of people. The décor is surprisingly very dark. They have made an effort to decorate it, but it’s nothing special. Enough for lunch during a work-week, but not for special occasions. The service here is very slow, though friendly. It took a very long time for the food to come out, even when there were only 3 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. The food that came out was lukewarm, and we had to ask the server to reheat our food. I believe it was because one of us ordered a specialty dish, which might have taken much longer than the others. The food itself was decent, but not special. We got the panang curry, the green curry, phad see iew, and kaplau gai kai dao(the speciality dish) The panang curry was pretty good and well spiced. It lacked veggies though. The green curry and phad see iew were alright, but not very good. My friend said the speciality dish was really good. The food is well priced for the restaurant, with entrees around $ 11 – 15. I had an enjoyable experience, but the food and service were lackluster. This is just another neighborhood thai place, good option if you work in the area, but not work going there for it.

Pretty good prices for lunch. We were seated promptly and served a small salad. The dressing on that salad was delicious! I would go back just for their free salad. The meal I got was good. Perfect portion, not too much and just enough. The meat was tender and there were lots of veggies too. I definitely want to try more of their food. Other dishes look promising.

Slow service, ordinary menu and an overly salty tom yum soup that I could not even eat. Nibbana has a lot of potential due to its location but need to up their game. On the positive note, I did a $ 2 add on shrimps and they added a lot of them to the soup.

Hungry on a Sunday afternoon and found this place was open. It was a little dark decoration but red on the chairs but lots of light coming in through the windows. My husband and I ordered the beef pad thai and chicken larb salad. Food came pretty quick. Beef with carrots and cabbage, the usual pad thai. My husband thought it was pretty good but I think it was a little more on the sweet side and not my cup of tea. I had the ground chicken larb. I like the portion of chicken and combination iceberg lettuce and romaine lettuce. I ordred it medium spice and it turned out great. Due to the acidity and spiciness, I ordered a bowl of rice to go with it. I only ate ½ a cup of the rice. Wish the larb comes with a little bit of rice so I don’t have to pay an extra $ 2 for the rice i’m not eating. Oh well. Overall it was a good meal that I will definitely come back to.

This place is excellent, great food and great service every time. The curry dishes are fresh and tasty as well as the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Nice and relaxing atmosphere dining in or waiting for take-out.

I found myself in this mediocre Thai place because, apparently, I have this impeccable ability to hand-pick men who seem to be professionals in the major leagues of being a shitlord. My date picked Nibbana, and as soon as he said that, I nearly felt obligated to end the date before it even started. It’s an excellent restaurant if you want to live your life on the edge of hypertension. It’s as though they take their chicken and slaughter it on a salt block and then rub salt into it prior to flavoring it with more salt. We ordered the chicken curry but instead of curry, it just felt like I was licking sweat off a pig’s back. The portion size of the curry, for $ 13, was alarmingly pathetic. Carrots and potatoes took up a substantial amount of room with a couple pieces of chicken scattered. I could continue to exist without having this again. Thai food is one of three things, alongside plastic surgery and blonde foils, the suburbs get right on a consistent basis. There’s no shortage of Thai around here, so I was genuinely surprised how Nibbana was so unremarkable and unimaginative. Moral of the story: don’t go on dates with crazy dbags just for the stories to tell your friends later. It may seem amusing at the time and your friends may start crowning at their anuses from uncontrollably laughing at your plight, but it’s not worth the bloating and time, people!

Walked in at 11:55, ordered takeout at 11:56. Waited around for 30 minutes. Canceled order at 12:26, four minutes before my lunch break ended. Food hadn’t even been started in back and I arrived before the lunch rush filled the venue. Great way to waste my time off.

This place is really good for thai. Ordered crispy garlic chicken and chicken wings. Chicken wings were exceptional.

I love this place! The food is excellent. When you need something left out they truly leave it out. They vary the dishes to your taste in spiciness. Take out is delicious. Best crab fried rice anywhere, sum tum is perfect! Crispy garlic chicken and a crispy beef I got were not favorites and the soup is excellent. YUMMY.

Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Bellevue. These are my go-to’s: — Emerald Garlic Chicken — Pad Thai — Spicy Eggplant with Tofu(the tofu is fried by default but I always asked for steamed tofu) — Coconut Ice Cream(they have the BEST coconut ice cream) I recommend Nibbana to all my friends and family. Good customer service, very clean, classy, good food… all great.

Awful food, avoid the lunch crowd if you have to come here. The chicken satay was super dry and tasteless, I’d call it chicken jerky. The papaya salad was just bland, but may be the best dish out of three. The pad tai was TERRIBLE… Extremely sweet and saucy and gross. We ordered it with pork, but I’m sure we got chicken. The service was too slow to send it back. Just eat somewhere else… Yuck.

Great location. Lovely lighting & ambiance. Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered their signature dish Pad Thai(pork) Over powered with FISH sauce, lots of sugar & over cooked noodles. If you cannot make Pad Thai you should not own a Thai food restaurant. My friend ordered cashew chicken, 2 stars. It was extremely chili hot. She’s a tough gal, so ate the pile of fire but it was not enjoyable. She brought this up to the waitress. No response. Cocktails were flavourless and they might have forgotten to add the alcohol. At $ 8.00 I expect a decent cocktail. Never again.

This is more like three-and-a-half stars but while I think their food is certainly OK, somehow it doesn’t quite thrill me. I have eaten lunch here now and then, and had takeout several times, and I think I like their Panang curry the best. It’s a nice touch that they have brown rice(though so do many others these days). The space is basic but not off-putting. The lunch staff is very down to business: here’s the menu while you wait for your table(so you can order faster).

This is some of the best Thai food in town. Friday evening dinner for us included Tom Thai(coconut milk) soup, Pad Thai, Pad see Uw, and emerald chicken(with garlic and vegs). Each dish was amazing: flavor, light sauces(not gloppy like some Thai places), perfectly cooked and fresh vegs stirred to perfection. The place is lovely and on a Friday, I would have expected it to be packed, but it wasn’t. I chalk that up to poor service and the funky parking. As other reviews point out, service is sub-par. Staff were friendly, but vanished after serving food. We could have used more water and would probably have ordered a bit more wine(nice selection, reasonably priced). As we left, we pointed out that the women’s rest room was so dark we couldn’t use it(obviously someone needed to change a bulb). Parking: The lot out front only has a few spots and they were all taken. There’s plenty of parking if you take the ramp down on the south end of the building. But, seeing the front lot filled may give passerby the impression the place was packed. Again, the food is wonderful and the interior is lovely and I’d expect a place like this to be packed on a Friday evening. Nice, large and inviting bar and they had some nice drink specials on the menu. I hope the management reads these reviews and ups the game on the service(maybe add a sign pointing to additional parking). We plan to return and would love great service to go along with their great food.

LOVE coming here during my lunch break. I usually get the Panang Curry which is $ 10.95. It’s a delicious bowl of chicken(well cooked) and large pieces of red and green peppers sitting in a sauce of some coconut curry stuff and boy is it GOOD! Comes with white or brown rice. The service is fast and the waitresses are always very kind. I like this place at lunch because it’s never crowded and it’s a perfect place to eat in peace and read in a calm environment.

Such a bad experience here. We were seated at a table within ten feet of both restrooms and the kitchen. I could smell the bathroom from my seat. I asked if we could move to one of the three booths open nearby, and the waitress said that booths are reserved for parties of 4 or more. Not ten minutes later, a party of 2 was sat in the booth. The server brought out two of the complementary salads, that looked like it came out of those cheap Dole packages, that had no dressing. After 20 minutes of no service after that, I got up and left. Will not be returning.

Walked around the area on my lunch trying to decide what to eat. Finally decided on Thai again(just had Thai for two lunches this week). I knew they had basil fried rice, and had to try it; I like to try basil fried rice at every Thai restaurant. I ordered Basil Fried Rice with chicken to-go. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly; had a little conversation with me even though it was busy in there for lunch. Got my order in about 10 minutes like she said. And the rice was tasty. Good flavor, good texture, chicken wasn’t too dry, and not bland at all. Would definitely want to order their basil fried rice again.

Not my favorite Thai restaurant, but not bad either. The server was really attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the som tum, miang khum, and spring rolls. I loved the som tum, but not the spring rolls. I thought their spring rolls were just bland, and not crispy enough. Miang khum was alright, but the cha-plu leaves were not fresh. Isarn thai soul kitchen had fresher leaves. However, the sauce for the miang khum was good. Overall, it’s a lot better than other Thai places I’ve been to, but not my favorite.

INTERIORSANDAMBIENCE: The interiors are pretty especially at night. I like their art work with the bamboo and wood that’s part of their wall art and their chandelier is very pretty and quite unique. The servers are mostly dressed in black. They have a full bar and a nice seating area. It is not congested and you can easily come here with your date or with your team. SERVICE: At times their service isn’t spot on and as such you might have to walk to them to ask for something. However the staff is polite and most of the times they are quite attentive. I woulf rate their service a 3 star at most. FOOD and PRICES: Their food gets a 4 star if not 5 and it is quite delicious. Their chicken satay is delicious. For the money and location their quantity and quality is a 5 star. They serve a cup or a bowl of soup and the cup is actually pretty filling for a single person. For 5 bucks it is a great deal. All their prices are pretty reasonable and you can have a good dinner for lesser than 15 bucks per head if not 10. They also have a good selectiom of lunch combinations and if you order from regular menu during lunch they will serve it with soup or salad and brown or white rice OVERALL: If you like thai food then you will find yourself coming here time and again.
