Oodles Noodles occupies a really odd space that was previously a Mexican restaurant. I love noodle soups and rarely see yen ta foo on the menu. When I saw that this place has both crispy pork belly and yen ta foo, I knew I had to try it! Once there, I was torn on whether I wanted crispy pork belly or a noodle soup for the entrée. I ended up trying the yen ta foo, which was tasty but not the best I’ve had. We also ordered the roti with peanut sauce(surprising to see this on the menu since I thought that was more of a Malaysian and Indian dish?). The roti was really greasy and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great service and delicious Thai noodle and rice dishes nom. nom The Adventurous section is wildly tasty! I’m excited to try them all out. It’s hard to navigate the menu with all the Thai dishes names. Wish they have an English name for each dish to save you some time reading the descriptions(pictures would be good too) It is a little pricey for Thai restaurant, around $ 12 – 16 per dish, but given the location(next to Bellevue transit Center and City Center) and food quality here, it’s well worth it Happy hour from 3 – 6 with discounted appetizers !

Oodles of noodles, oodles of people! I’ve been to this space when it was a Mexican place. I’ve also been to the thai place next door and the one far down. All in all, thai food does well in this area with so many offices and business. Lunch rush is a big deal. You gotta come ready for it! They don’t do special lunch or dinner menu but they have one set menu. Which makes it easier and more efficient I’d assume. My first time, I tried their boat noodle soup! On a cold day, this rich dark, thick soup was exactly what the doctor ordered! No really. I came here for lunch with my doctor! Lol yea we are cool like that. And we ordered the same things! :D Now second time around, it was a little more chaotic. We came for happy hour! Well more like late lunch but ran into happy hour so we had happy hour instead. I didn’t drink since I had another meeting after but we shared some stuffs! And did another lunch here today. it was a ok! Food~ Moo Yang ~ pork skewers with their special jaw sauce(aka isaan style dipping sauce) Roti ~ indian bread with peanut sauce(a little weird for my taste) fried fish balls with tamarind sauce. Som tom ~(non happy hour) pretty ok! Boat noodles ~ my favorite dish I’ve had here. Khaw man gai ~ tried this today! And it is disappointingly average. I’m a huge fan of chicken and rice! I go to pdx often just for this dish. And everywhere I’ve tried it, its pretty tasty. This version was made with not so steamed chicken. They use dark meat. Not tasty at all. Rice was good but really, this dish was a whole was disappointing! Thai ice tea/ice coffee ~ comes in a carafe! Pretty large. I like the ice coffee better. Tea was too sweet for me. Overall, its good for east side. Parking lot is free for 2 hours in the back. Service was rather fast, not friendly. A little chaotic even. I guess stick to their noodles since it seems to be their specialty. 4 stars minus 1.5 for for that horrible Khaw man gai version and slow service. But since I cant do 2 ½ stars, I’m giving it a 3!

All in all, it was okay, but unless you have crows eyes expect to be thoroughly ignored when asking for spicy food. This is the case with most Asian restaurants in Bellevue.

Oodles is located across from the Bellevue Transit Center, and is a great addition to the area. My first visit was during lunch hour(to-go). Now if you’re looking for the usual pad thai or pad see ew, go elsewhere. Oodles focuses on Thai street food so you’ll find dishes that you won’t see at your usual Thai restaurant. Anyways, I ordered the khao soi. This is a curry noodle soup with egg noodles, veggies and your choice of protein(I went with beef). I like that they pack this very neatly with the noodles separated from the soup. It’s a good and filling soup that’s perfect for your typical PNW day. The second time I came here was near the end of happy hour. It was confusing when I walked in, since nobody was at the entrance. I eventually figured out that everyone was at the bar on the left hand side and was quickly seated. This time, I ordered #30: marinated beef served with jaw(dipping sauces), rice of your choice and a salad. The beef was packed with so much flavor and the jaws complimented it nicely. The salad was a green salad with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce is what made that salad. And I went with sticky rice, which I really like. There aren’t many places I will go out of my way for in Bellevue but I will make an exception for Oodles.

I ordered take out Roti & #43 with tofu. AMAZING. I cannot wait to go here again. Without a doubt, my new favorite place in Bellevue! I typically like to try different dishes when I return to restaurants, but I will be ordering exactly the same next time. The roti was warm and buttery and the peanut sauce was perfect! #43 has such a great curry flavor and I asked for #2 spice level and it’s just right. Finally a place that’s not afraid to put in the spice! Love this place & can’t wait to go back! I will be bringing all of my friends here!

My husband and I really enjoyed their noodle soups. It’s nice to have a authentic noodle soup + Thai restaurant in the neighborhood! :-)

Had a bad experience with the food. Service was great but the value was not worth it. I had the boat noodle and the consistency was too thick. I had wide rice noodle that were too over cooked so it fell apart every time I tried to eat it. The pork was also too chewy. There were crunchy stuff in the soup that hurt to bite into. Overall I don’t think I would come back here for the noodle soups.

Wow, what a great find! 4 stars for the food, an extra star for reasonable pricing and great service. We needed a quick meal while our daughter was at swim practice, and didn’t want a burger or anything fried. I checked Unilocal and saw this listing, only a couple blocks away. There’s parking in the back of the building with an entry along the north wall. We’re very picky about Thai food and usually don’t like the typical Seattle fare. When we opened the menus we were impressed by the variety of interesting offerings and it was hard to choose a dish — finally, my husband ordered the sukiyaki and I ordered the khao soi(yellow curry noodles). The server was great with our indecision and very pleasant, checking in on us just enough, and keeping an eye out for the«closed menus» signal — then the food came out quickly once our order was in. It was delicious. The sukiyaki was a Thai take on the classic dish and I’d definitely order it — I loved the balance of flavors and the glass noodles were cooked well. My khao soi was delicious — though I might look elsewhere next time since it was very rich with coconut milk. No stinting on quality ingredients — we both had ample chicken pieces in our bowls and the bowls themselves are quite big. The sauces tasted freshly prepared. The fresh vegetables garnish were a nice touch. We both appreciated the caddy of four different spicy condiments — chile paste, chile flakes, jalapenos, and green chiles in vinegar. The server came by to check if we wanted dessert, but we were too full! Another time, though, it would be great to try. All in all, I’m excited to add another place to my list of restaurants to hit in Bellevue. We had two very different dishes, both delicious, and speedy service — for $ 33 including my beer. Extra bonus — happy hour runs 3-close. We’re already planning to browse the HH small plates menu next time(then maybe we’ll have room for dessert!)

I went to Oodles for the happy hour food and drinks and it was a great experience! Oodles opened recently but the staff was really friendly and knew the menu well. The happy hour selection is really good, and happy hour runs from 3pm til close! Food: I ordered a roti appetizer and a chicken noodle soup off the happy hour menu and both were great! The roti really reminded me of the parathas my mom used to make(granted they are Indian styled vs the Thai style rotis offered at Oodles). The noodle soups are pretty authentic: the #43 yellow curry noodle dish that a friend ordered really stood out. Drinks: I might come back here just for the drink specials. I ordered a Lychee Martini(yeah) which came with a real lychee in it! It was something that I was not at all expecting and really hit the spot, all for $ 6! The happy hour drink specials really make this place shine.

[Dine-In Experience] Before you read this review, please know that I do not feel I ordered the best dish on the menu. Therefore, as a 3-star rating, I would definitely come back to this place and happily try a dish other than wonton soup. The wonton soup was great and comforting but it is hard to «wow». I was happily satisfied with a simple wonton soup and felt that it was done well. In terms of service, it was average. A friend and I went during lunch hour and because the place was packed, we seated at the bar and experienced inconsistent service. Our waiters changed about 3 times during our meal but interestingly enough, when I mentioned I was not familiar with how the menu worked when we ordered, our waitress rolled her eyes and quickly pressed for what spice level I wanted. Unfortunately this was not the experience I wanted as a first-timer and would have liked a little more opportunity to learn the menu or get some recommendations. Not a great impression from a service perspective. Dishes ordered: Wonton soup, pork broth, egg noodles

Since my trips to Thailand, I’ve been on the constant lookout for a traditional Thai restaurant — I have finally found my place! The first time I came here, I ordered the pad kra pao and was immediately taken back to a hot summer day in Bangkok. Not only is the flavor there, but the presentation is similar to what you would get in Thailand(minus the metal plates). I have been here multiple times and I have never left disappointed. From their pad kra pao, to their khao soi, the food here is as traditional as it gets. This restaurant is my Thailand, away from Thailand.

Dinner here for the first time… I had #43 yellow curry noodles with chicken. Very tasty and a huge bowl. easily two meals worth of food for me. Husband ordered #38 pork belly with rice and fried egg and liked it a lot. Overall, we enjoyed the food. Service was very prompt, friendly, and attentive. The waitress took the time to ask us how our meals were and if the spiciness level was appropriate. The restaurant is attached to a bar which was pretty loud when we were there. The lighting was quite low but it’s definitely not a romantic place. It had more of a bar feel to it with TV screens around.

Finally checked out Oodles for lunch. The restaurant is quite big so there wasn’t a wait. They have a lot of great noodle soup options, perfect for the cold weather. I tried the sukiyaki which was a Japanese/Thai style noodle soup. It was loaded with vegetables, tofu & seafood with rice noodles, much more than I can eat in one sitting. The broth was very flavorful, slightly sweet with a Thai style sweet and sour. Cons for this restaurant — the restaurant was cold inside so I wore my coat the entire time, service was quick to start, then they completely forgot about us & we had to flag someone down for the bill. I love noodle soup though, so I’ll come back to try the other dishes.

My coworker and I have been looking up the menu and pictures on Unilocal for this place and was finally able to go try it. I ordered the Kra Prou Moo Groub Kai Down and she ordered the Guay Juap. I really enjoyed my food, even though I felt some of the pork belly pieces were a little too dry and overcooked. My coworker’s soup looked pretty good. I tried some of her broth, and it had really good flavor. Would like to come back and try this soup one day. My food came with a good amount of rice, and actually didn’t finish all my rice. A lot of other places give you just a little thing of rice, and you end up not having enough for your entrée, or the food doesn’t even come with rice at all! The food is a little pricier, compared to most other Thai restaurants(at least not the ones in Bellevue).

Service: 1.5 stars I came in at 1 pm after the lunch time rush. Once a server saw me, she promptly sat me and brought me a water. First thought for a new restaurant: off to a good start. However, minute after minute went by and no one came to take my order. I began looking around but none of the servers were coming to the area where I was sat. Finally a server got close enough for me to flag down and I asked«can I order? «he said«ok.» Then I told him how I had been waiting to order for 20 minutes but again his answer was«ok.» His inconsiderate response caught me off guard as I had actually wanted to ask questions about the noodle soups. But due to his attitude, I was taken aback and just ordered the BBQ Pork noodle soup with egg noodles, 2 star. Food came out promptly, but no one checked on me after my food was dropped off. Had to flag someone down again to pay. Food: 5 stars(based on one noodle soup dish) The BBQ pork and the broth was so flavorful. On a cold day like today, the piping hot soup just hit the spot. 2 stars for spiciness was plenty for me but it was definitely the right amount. There could have been more veggies, but I’m not complaining. Serving size was quite large and I definitely had enough soup for dinner — so two meals worth. Overall: 3.5 stars I’m bummed that I had a bad experience with the service because I really wanted to like this place since it’s new and so close to my work. I think I’ll give it another shot since I liked my food so much. Will update when I do!

I have eaten lunch here twice and both times I have ordered the same thing, #43. Yellow curry sauce with egg noodles, and some other stuff. I was tempted to get something with duck the second time but the spicy curry was calling to me. It was how I remembered it from the first time, delicious. There are a number of interesting options on the menu, most of which I have never heard of but look worth trying. Maybe next time.

I’m not going to attempt to remember the real name of these dishes, cause I will definitely butcher them. Authentic street Thai food for reals! I think northern Thai? Not your typical Phad Thai, Phad seeiuw. Got the oodles noodles with egg noodles to share. The soup is a bit on the plain side at first, but the flavor then kicks in nicely. The portion is big, but is totally doable for one. But better to share. So you can ump up on the appies like I did. Fried fish balls, fried pumpkins and tofu, and spicy wings. The deep fried batter in the fried pumpkin and tofu really transports you back to Asia. If you’ve had fried food in the streets before. You’ll know what I mean ;) All in all… Very good and flavorful food. Their menu is intense, and we barely touched it. Will be back to try out more goodies. Even their sauces are legit and seems made in house. Oh and Thai ice tea? $ 3.50 for this jumbo size? Yes please! The have their own parking lot too! Woot :) win win win! Let’s work on having this place here to stay!

I’ve been going here a number of times. There are so many interesting things on the menu to try! There’s even an «adventurous» section(just like at La Bu La) but the inspiration for the food is Thai Street Food. I’m progressing through the menu searching for the best item. I haven’t had anything stand-out yet but I’m also thinking some of this may be due to soft-launch issues. The soup stock has been criticized as being inauthentic and laden with MSG. Today I had a Thai version of Hainan Chicken Rice and while the Rice was somewhat good, the chicken was absolutely dry and stringy. A noodle house is just what we need so I hope they can get their operational act together and really put themselves on the map.

Finally, a totally legit and authentic Thai restaurant in Seattle(well, Bellevue, specifically… bonus!) My husband and I have been Thai food snobs ever since we returned from our amazing trip to Thailand and have been seeking a place that will satisfy our particular cravings. Mission now accomplished! Oodles Noodles has a array of menu choices that encompasses many Thai favorites that are difficult to find here locally. The flavors are bold, complex, and full of spices, of course. We thoroughly savored every bite and plan to return again to try all their other dishes, especially the familiar ones in the«Adventurous Street Food» section. Brings back delicious memories from our visit. The owner, Nan(sp.?), is super friendly and sweet. She and her boyfriend continuously checked in on us and the other patrons to make sure we were enjoying our meal and welcomed feedback for the kitchen staff. You can tell she is truly passionate about her restaurant, it’s standard of quality and values her customers opinions/suggestions. Well, she definitely has our vote and support!
