Don’t bother making a complaint with the 1^st operator you get, or the supervisor, or try headquarters. You will get the same information, only this time it is from a supervisor that can’t give more than a first name — and has no direct line. Who will also tell you that s/​he doesn’t know who to contact at headquarters, what the procedure is, and won’t have a number, anyway. Change carriers.
I got a call from a collection agency saying I owed over $ 1,000 dollars for equipment charges. I merged 5 lines into one account., didn’t get new phones at the time. «You didn’t give on-​line authorization. you didn’t answer the e-​mails we sent… we had to interrupt the (some sort of additional service), if you don’t make the payment, we’ll have to do it again.
I explained to the Rep. I did sign the on-​line authorization. I was told that I had 5 days, and I did it on the first although you have it down as the 5^th day: No regular or additional service on any of the 5 lines has ever been interrupted: All of the lines are on the singular bill we receive, meaning we no longer have a bill addressed to each of us separately: when I call I give my husbands last four, say that I am an authorized user and I am allowed to get or give information. Everything is handled as the one account — that you say doesn’t exist. (The merge was never authorized, so there are still two accounts, mine is a singular account, with two phones: Also, under the new merged account which didn’t happen — we have had at least 3 new telephone purchases, including one for the old accounts that has a hold because of the $ 1,000 owed. I asked the supervisor to quiet her talking, because she was spewing the same information as was her employee. I asked for yes or no, like: may I have your full name and number (no) can you clear the charges (no), do you know a procedure to have it done (no), do you know who I should contact (no) do you have a name at headquarters I can make a complaint with (no) do you have the number, I’ll call myself, (no). So why am I talking to you. and again — she rattles the information her employee gave, but added since it was transferred to collections, they don’t have any information???
As far as they are concerned I owe the money for old equipment switched for new when we merged accounts. I didn’t get new phones when the merge took place. As far as they are concerned. No one to check with — because that person doesn’t exist… Go Verizon, Sprint, anywhere else. They will all be one company in the next 5 years, but in the mean time — use metro

Yesterday we celebrated my girlfriends 24^th Birthday, And I wanted to surprise her with a phone, I have ordered a Samsung S 5 pre-​owned for her. And yes she was very happy with my purchase.
Unfortunately the happy smile faded fast as we discovered the certified pre-​owned phone had, a cracked screen, loose screen and the screen did not function.
So today we spent 1 hour at the Factoria corporate store, 1 hour at the corporate store in Bellevue square location, to try and exchange the phone.
As the phone was bought on a trip to Bellingham none of these locations could help, I was advised to drive the 1.5 to Bellingham to contact the local store. The Bellingham location did not actually have the phone I wanted when I bought the phone, the person ordered it for me online.
So here I am 1 hour in on a phone call to the T-​mobile customer service, who cannot help me either. I now have a broken phone out 410 usd + 25 usd for overnight shipping, and I have spent the main part of my Sunday on this.
This unfortunate situation, and my desperation has brought me to, Actually get a Unilocal account to writhe a review, posting this and I am now in the process of terminating my 2 year long commitment with T-​mobile.
I have never experienced something like this and I would advice anyone who is thinking about using any of t-​mobiles services to think twice, well I was a happy customer until now, but if you wanna upgrade or get a new phone ect. prepare for disaster, and have A LOT of patience.

T-​Mobile headquarters are officially in Germany as this is a company owned 65% by Deutsche Telekom AG. As such this is closest to USA corporate headquarters provided by Google search. Nothing against internationally traded companies besides their inaccessibility to consumer quality assurances. I have been their customer most recently since 2011, and only last month have I had a second major complaint, the first is over the mishandling of my voicemail, as often people calling me are completely unable to leave any message at all most often with no messages saved in my inbox, an issue they have never resolved despite my multiple efforts, not a great service for a business or «private» line. Second complaint was more recent, I received a text message informing I would be charged in 2days for my monthly automatic payment set up with a limited bank account to prevent any fraudulent activity, instead of being charged in two days as stated I was charged within 6 hours of the 2 day warning and overdraft of the bank account occurred, what was worse was the lousy phone based customer service representatives handling of my concerns. They were everything from patronizing, passing me from one department back to another and back again always with an excuse, that is not my department’s function or responsibility, placed on hold for 30 minutes until I called back on another phone then the first call was disconnected. I am a very patient person, but their insulting and egregiously antagonizing antics avoiding any logical explanation or accommodations was unconscionable and worst customer service ever! Again this month, I received a text message notice of fees charged to account as expected with confirmation #, then 12 hours later received an additional text stating in two more days I would be charged for the month again. I really hope they can get their crap together before I move on to another likely to big to care for customers service out of shear frustration. I hope this review helps someone, perhaps the peeps in the ivory cellphone tower.

This is the closest that I could come to T-​Mobile corporate. I have been lied to, defrauded out of over 350.00 dollars, never received email with a tracking number or confirmation of the order. We ordered on the 28^th of October with a promise that we would have our phones the next day. Well we cancelled on the 29^th because they had not even shipped out. We were not even due to get them until today (¹¹⁄₂). Now am being told that when they receive the package back we will get our money back. This company is the biggest fraud in wireless history. They charge you before they ship the phones and then won’t give it back even when you cancel the order. Avoid Thief-​Mobile at all costs (which it will). I would have posted this on facebook, but the page for facebook for Thief Mobile is down also.

Corporate office of T-​Mobile USA is about as close to here as it gets, so my review of T-​Mobile services… here we go. I’ve been a faithful T-​Mobile customer for the last four years and in that time, they have been consistent with billing and reasonable with service.
Their limited data footprint has left me data-​less at least twice. Alaska is part of the United States, isn’t it? How about West Virginia? Yep. In both spots when I visited, I found myself roaming. Do you know how much data you get when you’re roaming? 200 MB for the entire month.
But on the positive side, I was recently in Turkey where I had excellent coverage and free international roaming. Awesomeness, really.
I’ve noticed that there’s an interesting new hack that can be transmitted to an Android phones. It uses something called «Stagefright.» Google has apparently patched it, but the fix has to be bundled up by the carrier and sent over-​the-​air to devices. Meanwhile, my phone is vulnerable. Boooo!

I love this T-​Mobile store. The reps know what they are doing and they are quick. They have reps that speak many languages. I can call or email ahead to reserve a time. There’s plenty of parking out front. I have used them to bring my own phone to t-​mobile, purchase a new iphone, and get on the 2 Lines of unlimited 4G LTE data for $ 100 plan. Each transaction was quick (by mobile phone store standards) and painless.

Now with the new pricing plans this is the best carrier. They are offering family plans as cheap as $ 80-​$ 90 (previously paying $ 125) which I’m excited about. Also now that they bought Metro PCS, they will be even more competitive when it comes to pricing.

I had been a T-​Mobile customer for over 10 years and had also worked for the company for almost 4 years. In december 2012, my husband and I were so fed up with the poor coverage we were getting and the fact that the retail store staff universally seem to now have a gum chewing couldn’t care less attitude, that we made the decision to switch to AT&T and have lovely new iPhones with full coverage. Two months later we are experiencing great service, excellent coverage and stable phones with AT&T.
We knew that we would have to pay our way out of our T-​Mobile contract, we received a bill on January 26^th for $ 640 which included cancellation fees and the end of the «service» for that mnth. Instead of the bill havinga 30-​day cycle — the bill was due on February 2^nd — one week later. We actually apid the bill a few days late on february 6^th. despite the fact that we had a little over a week to pay the final bill, T-​Mobile sent the whole amount to collections on February 3^rd.
Thats what you get for 10 years loyal service! Appalling service — it is no wonder this company is slowly losing its customers and going out of business.

I’m assuming this is the headquarters for T-​Mobile USA, Inc. I have had repeated problems with this companies billing mistakes. It seems to me that the bills are incorrect at least once a year, when there is some change, and the mistake is always in their favor. It takes an hour or so each time I uncover one of these mistakes to explain what has happened and why T-​Mobile has been in error. In each argument, I have prevailed and the charges were dropped.
I am beginning to see a pattern where T-​Mobile USA, Inc. makes excessive billing errors and either expects customers to not review their bills (and pay it) or tire of the process of correcting their bills, giving up and paying it.
In either case, after this contract expires, I’m giving my business to T-Mobile’s main competitor’s cell phone service.

What’s the difference between talking on a T-​Mobile cell phone, and talking into a paper cup w/​no string? Not much, these days… either way, nobody can hear you on the other side!
I have been a loyal T-​Mobile customer for 10 years, have given them over $ 10,000 worth of business between me and my husband, and have always loved them (AND recommended them to friends and family)…till this year.
My apologies to Tmobile for not writing a review sooner. You had always been good to me, your customer service was EXCELLENT, and if I were to rate your service, year by year, I would have given you guys the following ratings:

My service has been TERRIBLE since I got my new 4G phone about 4 months ago. You’d think it’d be better than ever, since after all it is a 4G, and it’s the most expensive phone I’ve ever bought (a Tmobile LG MyTouch Android). With my old 3G phone, I used to be able to talk to people on the phone all the time, any time of day, from my office in the middle of my house. But now, people can’t hear me! I have to go outside and stand on the sidewalk to make calls to clients (my neighbor across the street said his friends with TMobile have to stand on their cars to get a signal).
I’ve heard more than one too many times, «I’m sorry I can’t hear you… um… I’m hanging up now…» Because people can’t even tell if I’m there. It is common place for me to look at my phone to see either no bars, or no bars AND a red X over the bars. And yes, I’ve tried connecting to the Wi-​Fi in our house. That’s not much better, and it’s a pain to keep switching when I leave. And yes, I’ve tried powering it on and off. Doesn’t do ****.
The fact is, I shouldn’t have to do all this, JUST to be able to get a connection and just be able to TALK TO PEOPLE. Isn’t the purpose of having a PHONE, to be able to COMMUNICATE with people over the phone? Doesn’t that mean being able to talk to people, AND have them hear you? Or… is that asking for a little too much? If that’s too much, tell me again why me and my husband are paying you $ 150 a month for «coverage»?? One rep talked me into not cancelling my service by saying they’d be getting more towers, but… I’ve yet to see it happen.
The other day I saw this commercial on TV, showing the 4G coverage Tmobile is providing to its customers (or should I say, NOT providing)… and it AAAAALLLLL became clear:
A few different reps tried to tell me that I could get a «signal booster,» if I just renewed my contract for another 2 years. In my opinion, this is COMPLETE BULLSHIT. I knew it wouldn’t be a big deal if I did it, since I’d just renewed my contract for two years when I got my new phone anyway. But to me, it was about the principle of the whole thing. I shouldn’t HAVE to renew my contract for two years, JUST to have the ability to TALK TO PEOPLE ON THE PHONE. If you can’t provide cell phone service for everyone who pays you nearly $ 150 per month for two lines, then you shouldn’t call yourself a cell phone service provider!
In my opinion, they should give those cell phone boosters to people for free. 3 different reps gave me the BS line about how it’s a $ 600 piece of equipment. I said «it can’t cost YOU guys $ 600» and they said yes it does. Oh, give me a f****** break. Don’t even TRY to tell me that made-​in-​China piece of plastic is costing you $ 600 when you can buy a signal booster at Walmart for under 50 bucks!
In my opinion, TMobile should give a discount to its customers who are not able to use the 4G network. Because they’re CHARGING ME FOR IT, even though I’m not able to use it. And it’s not cheap! I can’t look up a damn thing on the internet, on my phone. This is ridiculous.
I almost cancelled my service, but the thought of having to change cell phone providers sounds like such a huge pain in the a**, I would do just about anything to avoid doing that, so I finally caved and begrudgingly ordered the damn signal booster. No supervisor would just give it to me (for no charge). «The system is not set up that way.» Is what I was told, over and over. It was like talking to a wall. One of the reps told me that if for some reason it doesn’t work, I can return it. So I finally decided to just give this a try, but I still think it’s ridiculous and super manipulative for T-​Mobile to make its customers sign on for an extra two years, just in order to get NORMAL coverage. What a ****ing crock.
If that signal booster doesn’t work, I don’t care if it IS a pain in the butt to switch carriers. At that point I’ll be HAPPY to give Verizon my business for the next 10 years. Even if I have to pay them more. It’s better than throwing my money away on a service that doesn’t actually deliver. Like I said earlier… I might as well be talking into a paper cup

No Stars I was a loyal T-​Mobile customer for more than a decade. I wanted an I-​Phone, not available w T-​Mobile, so waited until the contracts on all four of our lines were up and canceled. That was in May, paid my final (I thought) bill. A month later I got a bill for more than 2x my usual monthly bill. I called customer service which had been so helpful in the past. No help, no explanation of why the additional fees. Went to the store. since i canceled my service they had no records available. Now I’m getting robo calls four times a day from T-​Mobile and calls from a collection agency. I’m willing to pay what I owe, but will not pay anything until the bill is satisfactorily explained. Any hints?

T-​mobile is very slow about sending out updates from phone o/​s companies and makers. As soon as US wireless carriers allow for faster updates. I will promptly switch to that carrier. On my last Android I got the Froya update over a year later. This is unacceptable.

I have not experienced mobile service better than T-​Mobile because I have only ever had T-​mobile. I give them three stars because their mobile service has never failed me. But their customer service, the first six months of my being with their company, was very very bad. I had a lot of hook up problems as well as bank errors and different stuff like that. Whenever I called I would first sit on hold for about 10 – 20 minutes, and then finally talk with somebody from India who most of the time had no clue what they were talking about or doing and barely spoke English. Most of the time, because their automated service was so bad I could hardly get to the right section to help. I would often call in and get the wrong section and have to wait an extra 10 minutes to talk with the right people. This can be very frustrating when you have things to do that day and you want your service fixed and running smoothly. After all, you are paying for it.
Several times I was told that the person helping me did stuff for me on my account, such as hook up a monthly payment plan, and fix my service and it never happened. I can imagine the person working the phone telling me they did something and then just NOT doing it and laughing about it. It happened at least four different times over a three month period in 2010 – 2011. Once I talked with a woman from America and she hung up on me. It was very frustrating. Granted I was probably upset after going through all the crap with the outsourced customer service. However you should never hang up on people who are paying your salary. It’s bad business. But I guess they thought because they are such a huge company that they can treat their customers however they want.
The customer service for T-​Mobile, in my experience is horrible.
But now I do no-​contract, monthly payments and that seems to be the ticket. I pay over the phone, and do it all automated and skip talking to a person in India.

I really like my T-​Mobile handset (a new HTC G2), as well as my T-​Mobile service.
The customer service people have been been very helpful and upbeat. This really helps any time you call with an issue.
