Rekha’s Threading Salon

I decided to try this place because of it’s close location to my house and the nice reviews on here. The place was easy to locate and the inside was nice and clean.
When I went in, there was only one person working and she was pretty nice and polite. I asked for an eyebrow threading and she was quick and painless. However, she left a couple hairs in place so I’m going to have to go back to my regular place. Also, in the middle of the threading, she left to answer the phone. I don’t know why she couldn’t have just left it for the answering machine.
I would recommend this place only as a last resort.

I was in and out of Rekha’s threading salon within 10 minutes, with one red, hot, and swollen face plus uneven eyebrows.
The good thing about this place is plenty of free parking, the salon is clean, well lit, well priced (they even offer coupons on their website), and the ladies were friendly. The waiting area is pretty comfortable with lots of gossip magazines — but there was hardly any wait. I was pretty bummed that the salon lady called me up so soon… I missed out on the chance to catch up on celebs gossips.
As soon as I sat on the salon chair, she told me to lay down. I was like, «whoa… shouldn’t we talk about what style I like — shape and how much to trim?» She said, «I know. You like (the eyebrows) thick.» I just nodded.
She threaded one side so fast (and so painful), she asked me if that was OK. While my head was dealing with the pain, I briefly checked the threaded brow and I thought it looked OK so I nodded again. She then proceed to thread my other eyebrow, then my lips. I was in so much pain, I could barely open my eyes because I was too busy holding back the tears. I felt that my face was just assaulted and I was in survival mode — I just wanted to get out of there. About 20 minutes later, my face was still raging red, but now at least I could see better. I noticed that my eyebrows were totally uneven — I almost cried again. Not only that, I noticed tiny blisters by my lip because my skin was so irritated.
I don’t do threading that often, but this is definitely not my first time or even first 5 times. This experience was by far the most painful threading I’ve ever had.

I’ve been here twice and both times the threader had apparently just left to go to their other location. The first time It was around 6 pm on a Friday & when I asked what the threaders hours were, the stylist there said she had no set hours but to try earlier in the day. The second time I arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and again no one was there. I don’t know why they call themselves a threading salon of there’s not a threader in at reasonable hours during the day. I’ll be looking for another location.

When I’ve come here in past months, the service was friendly, near painless, and quick. I was overjoyed. However, recently I’ve found that no one has been available to thread the past three times I’ve stopped by.
On Tuesday (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, their website states that they offer a $ 1 discount on threading), I stopped by after work and was turned away. I asked when the threader would would l be in and was told Thursdays through Saturdays (I was also told that the other days of the week, she’s at the other location in Artesia). I was disappointed since this was the second time I’ve been turned away for threading and I wouldn’t be getting the Tuesday discount, but glad that I had found out when my brows could finally get some much-​needed servicing.
Today (Thursday), I went back after work and was told that the threader had just left to go to the Artesia location. Though the Bellflower and Artesia locations aren’t too far from each other, I wish they would be clearer (on their website or at least put a sign in the storefront) about their limited threading services at their Bellflower salon. Or even assign another threader in Bellflower that can pick up the slack.
In one word: disappointed. My relationship with this place started off with 5 stars and quickly fell. If I get over my dismay, I may try out the Artesia location but for now, I’ll go to a more reliable threading business.

Good eyebrows! The woman who threads them isn’t rough & is extremely friendly/​patient

I came here the other day to get my eyebrows done. I checked in using my Unilocal app and the service was free! Eyebrow threading normally cost $ 6. I walked in with no appointment and I was immediately attended to. My eyebrows were cleaned up like how I wanted and the service was quick too!

I was visiting in the area and decided to get my eyebrows done as I had never done threading before. She did a great job and it didn’t hurt at all!!! Whenever I am back in the area, I will definitely come back! :)

Rekah’s Threading Salon is absolutely the best threading place in the area. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. We started talking as though we have known each other for years. I see my gal, Pooja, every 2 weeks and she takes care of all threading needs. Not only am I 100% happy with the salon, service and staff, but also with the price. Hands down best price in town. I love that they always have time to see me and never make me wait a ridiculous amount of time to get my eyebrows done. The salon also has a hair service for cuts and so forth for your convenience. They also have a frequent customer stamp card that earns you a free threading after 8 visits. I’m excited that I now have my permanent threading place. Check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

Love this place! Pooja is amazing, come here to get my eyebrow and upper lip done. No lines or wait time, that’s probably my favorite thing about this place, other than Pooja. Also very reasonably priced. Clean, well kept place, they also have a girl who cuts hair. Definitely recommend coming here and avoiding the rush on Pioneer or Artesia.

I have finally found the perfect place to get my eyebrows threaded. For years I had been getting my eyebrows threaded at a local chain threading salon. There I had to wait at least 15 – 25 minutes in an overcrowded lobby. I always felt like they were in a rush and never took the time to shape my brows. Once I heard of Rekha’s Salon, I tried it out and was hooked! The prices are very reasonable, it’s very clean, and best of all I can walk in and be greeted with a smile. I love that Pooja is very sociable and takes her time, making sure that my eyebrows are shaped perfectly. I’m glad I found this place! I have been to the salon on South St., but I choose to come to this one because it’s closer to home. I recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you!

I just moved back in the area and was happy to see there was a new threading salon in the area. This establishment is very well kept, very clean, and the employees are very nice and personable. I always get great service and my eyebrows are always exactly how I want them hands down. I would definetly recommend going here.

I figured since the other Rekha Salon is amazing I would try this one out too! I walked in today, got a haircut and while I was there I thought I would try out the threading technique! 3 words! AH-​MAY-​ZING! I love the friendly staff, the great quality and just the atmosphere! Any place that can strike up a conversation, make me laugh, and to top it off with great work! Brilliant! Isn’t that what we all want in a great Salon?! Quality, fun and just an incredible experience?! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I’m taking my mom there next week… and shes a picky woman! 2 thumbs way up!

I LOVE Rekha’s! I have had a hard time finding someone who knows how to do my eyebrows perfectly… but, Pooja has done just that! She is great! They are always so friendly and able to take me as a walk in. Most importantly, they are clean! I have found my threading salon and will NOT go anywhere else! Thank you Rekha’s :)

I have been to several places to get my eyebrow threaded, but every place I went to always misshaped my eyebrows. I was fed up of getting my eyebrows threaded wrong. I was very unhappy with the way my eyebrows came out until, one day, I stopped at a ⁷⁄₁₁ and noticed a threading salon next door. I walked in there expecting my eyebrows to be done wrong, but boy how I was wrong. This Indian girl that works there did my eyebrows perfect! For the first time, I was pleased by the shape of my eyebrows. Even my girlfriend liked them. Also, for the first time, it did not hurt my eyebrows while it was being threaded. Now i go there every week. Nothing but good vibes and good people. They also played good music.

I heard about this threading salon through a friend. I decided to go check it out as it is close to my house. I went to go get my eyebrows done. I get super nervous anytime I go to a new person in case they mess up my eyebrows. The lady there could tell I was a little nervous but she assured me she was the best. Once she was done, I was absolutely amazed. My eyebrows were picture perfect! I’ve gotten tons of compliments on my eyebrows after that day. I’ve been going there for a few months now and absolutely love it. I’m so glad there’s a place by my house that’s absolute perfection!
I recently got my hair cut there as well. The lady seemed to know exactly what she was doing. My hair looked gorgeous. She is so fast, its unbelievable! I liked her so much that I brought my mom to get her hair cut there as well. My mom doesn’t do any fancy haircuts, she always just gets a normal trim — boring I know. This time, I asked the lady what she can do to still have my mom’s hair long but look amazing. She gave my mom layers and it looked stunning! My mom looked so much younger and the expression on my mom’s face was priceless! She was sooooo happy. She got tons of compliments at work as well.
The people here are also so friendly, it makes you keep wanting to go back there. Thank you ladies for working your magic on my mom and I!!!
