I’ll preface this by saying that my husband and I like to wear Disney and other nerd culture T-shirts, we are not fancy people. We were drawn into the store because of the amazing looking succulent selection outside on the patio. But we soon realized that we had been sized up by the woman behind the counter who didn’t bother to even speak a word to us the entire time we were in the store. It was very awkward, and she obviously was purposely ignoring us, not wanting to waste her time on someone she assumed would not buy something. That’s fine, we left the store without her ever speaking to us and walked down to Rebecca’s flower shop, where I spent $ 45 on various plants. Perhaps you should not base whether or not you’ll give good customer service to people on their appearance and attire.

My hubby and I were attracted to this cute store by the enticing storefront and the sculptural crows perched outside, as well as the attached«patio» area with adorable garden items that just called our names. When we entered the store, it smelled SO good from the candles and plants within. We loved the succulents and prettily potted cacti. What we weren’t so impressed with was the lady who sat behind the counter and chatted on the phone(personal call) the entire time we were in the store. Never once did she look up, say hi, ask if she could help us find anything, or acknowledge us in any way, shape or form. It was as if we weren’t there, or were invisible. Non-entities. It was demeaning in a way, as we were the only ones there, in this small space, and surely she saw and/or heard us. Oh well, not the most personable feeling. Luckily all the other shops in Fairhaven were so awesome, they made up for this impersonal encounter.

I received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. The arrangement was amazing and the flowers were so fresh the bouquet was picture perfect for a week.

Once in a while you come upon a shop that not only offers inspirational items for the home but also some unusual ways to use them. A Lot Of Flowers outdoor area invited me in with a come hither. I stood staring at the front of this shop, which is like a secret garden of it’s own and it called to me; «Sit on my beautiful bench and ponder your thoughts» it said. And so I did. I sat on the surprisingly comfortable bench made of sturdy sticks and looked forward at the smiling Buddha and wished this was my space. This bright corner shop was bathed in the late afternoon sun. It must be a joy to work in such a bright space. Stepping inside, my eyes darted all over. Lots of great items! *New location*

An adorable flower shop. I’m sad that they’ve moved from their small store to a new one, but their staff is just as nice and their product just as sweet smelling. Go here!

I love coming through this unassuming little flower shop to browse their garden statues and cut flower selections. It being winter, their plant selection is minimal and not healthy looking. They had a whole row of unhealthy looking plants for discount in the back, which, someone with the know how to nurse them back to health would probably love. They also have a small selection of gift type items. The cut flowers all look incredibly healthy, as well. I saw they carried some dahlias, too. :-)

Excellent shop and wonderful staff. I purchased flowers and gift certificates for my fiancée who loves the shop! Fairhaven district in Bellingham, Washington is a very nice small village.

I pass through the Fairhaven district in Bellingham a couple times a year, and each time I make it a point to go to this shop. Lots of flowers, but also many other cool gifts for friends and things to go in the garden. It is a must see if you are in the area.

I adore this little shop. It is in a lovely spot on the corner(in town… Fairhaven neighborhood)… in my new favorite locale, Bellingham WA. What a discovery! It is full of beautiful, clever gems, things like orange honey soap and smiling garden gargoyles, stones that say things like«be kind», great local art, hot pink geraniums, and so much light and sun. Today it was so beautiful… the prices were not too expensive… go there on a sunny morning after breakfast two doors down. Enjoy!

This is the coolest flower shop ever! It also has great gifts and nick nacks. There’s a garden out back too with pottery and lots more cool stuff. I make sure to stop by here each time I visit Bellingham. Also if you buy flower here, they’ll arrange them and wrap them beautifully!

I adore this flower shop. Not only do they have a beautiful garden set up, where you walk through the open-air store into a garden in the back, but they have the coolest glass/hanging art in the area. It is locally made and beautiful. They sell candles, prayer flags, pottery, sculptures of the Buddha, goddess figures, gargoyles, half of heads… it’s just a really eccentric and cool place. The flowers are gorgeous and they will arrange you bouquets at your request as well as boxes of flowers. Go here to find a gift for someone else — they will be more than grateful!
