Drove all the way from Vancouver for their monster donuts and was not disappointed. The monster donuts do run out though so if you are planning on going later in the day just give them a call and they will happily set some aside for you!

All I can say is — AHMAYZING. No joke, some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Especially the cream filled chocolate ones. I even had a Chai and something filled donut that was super good as well. The seating arrangements are more than sufficient and super cute and unique. I loved eating there. Super atmosphere and employers. :)

As doughnut shops go, this one is absolutely iconic. Center of Fairhaven– all free parking around the building(which also hosts Fat Pie Pizza behind, yum) and fun seating options. The doughnuts are so rad– you can purchase a cake sized one even! I personally had the gluten free doughnut and was very impressed. No grainy texture, and deliciously chocolate-y. Great with a cup of coffee, which they also serve. Don’t forget about the ICECREAM, which is rich and really flavorful. Good variation in flavor too. This place isn’t incredibly dairy friendly everywhere, but you would definitely be able to find something! Everyone is kind– mostly student age staff– and helpful in nature. They ingredient checked a couple things for us without any problem.

Stopped in here during a not-so-stellar morning hoping to self medicate with a cinnamon twist. I want to love these donuts, I really do, but to me they are just so-so. Not as light or fluffy or fresh as Krispy Kreme. Minimal cinnamon and dry, cracking glaze. It leaves me wondering if the donuts are made the night before? The young ladies working the counter are always friendly and always seem to be just standing around. Shop is clean, so that’s a bonus.

I would have given this a 3-star since I don’t really care for it much one way or the other, but my dad loves this place and would totally give it a 5-star, so I met in the middle! I again don’t care about it too much, but it is my dads favorite place in Bellingham to get some coffee and a delicious donut!

Cronuts were awesome but a bit overpriced $ 3.95 each and limited to Nutella or raspberry. Free 20 minute parking and super chill environment. We would come back!

I’m not here for the doughnuts, just the ice cream. And what ice cream! I haven’t tasted anything so creamy since hanging out at the frozen custard shacks in Rhode Island. Still, I think Acme makes creamier ice cream than anything I sampled in the Ocean State. Wonderful flavors, especially the variety of chocolates and Zabaglione. A trip to Bellingham is never complete for us without a scoop or two of Acme ice cream at Rocket Donuts.

The Bismarck donut and a cup of iced coffee to start a Friday right. Both excellent. Service prompt and respectful. Will be returning.

I’m not sure what the«real» cronut at Dominique Ansel’s bakery in NYC tastes like. In the pictures, it looks fantastic. When my girlfriend and I were visiting Bellingham last weekend, I noticed a sign at Rocket Donuts advertising their«croinut». Given that it could be a year or two before I visit NYC again, I decided to give this version a try. The croinut was three layers with raspberry jelly between each layer, and a generous amount of powdered sugar on top. The center of the croinut was filled with even more raspberry jelly. Was this croinut the best of both worlds? Did it have the buttery, flakiness of a croissant with the soft, chewiness of a donut? To be honest, while it was still a tasty pastry, I would have rather had either a donut or a croissant. While it had a slightly buttery taste, texturally it just seemed like an overcooked croissant. Other than the shape, it didn’t really resemble a donut at all. Also, the raspberry jelly was a little too sweet, even for jelly that goes in a donut. I’m not sure how the other donuts taste, but I wasn’t super impressed by their attempt at a cronut. On the plus side, they had good service and the restaurant was clean. I’d probably go back another time and try one of their regular donuts.

Not super dense, not too sweet. Just right! This is the«three bears» of donut places. Maple bars were topped with the perfect amount of maple glaze. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because it also had cute tables to read at while munching but not nearly enough outlets for devices.

What I like about this place are the friendly staff. Otherwise it’s a good sugar rush and donut shop.

I was hesitant to order an Americano here, because I figured the coffee would be secondary to their [amazingly delicious] donuts. Guess who was wrong?! Those babies are STRONG, just the way I like them. Straight jolt and powerful. Seriously, I don’t let things ruin my day, but watered down coffee makes. me. so. angry. Glad I don’t have to worry about that here! Each time they’ve been consistent, no matter who is making them. Service is friendly. The 15% discount deal from Fat Pie receipt is awesome. Apple and blueberry fritters are great, and the cinnamon sugared ones melt in your mouth. But that $ 3.99 monster donut? I’m coming for you next time.

How I heard of this place: Every new culinary location in Bellingham is cause for excitement, celebration and a bittersweet memory of what it replaced. This Harris Street donut/coffee/ice cream shop was a very prominent place of transition a couple of years ago as the construction and window coverings were removed to reveal the new gustatory, sweet sojourn. Type of cuisine: Donuts. Freshly baked, daily at the downtown location, creative and unique flavors dispersed among the more typical and ultimate favorites. Also served: house-made ice creams and rocket blend coffee/espresso beverages. Ambiance: A brightly windowed corner spot allows for mucho natural lighting among the 50s-esque music, sci-fi movie posters and 60s-ish memorabilia surrounding the walls of this donut shop. «Since the golden era of Doughnuts was in the 1950’s &60’s we also serve up a bit of nostalgia in our downtown bakery café. Music, Sci-fi movie trailers and original movie posters from those days transport you to a simpler time.» Complete with a mini rocketship and intergalactic mural, this space age locale one that attracts everybody! What I ordered: At the recommendation of the young lady behind the counter, I went for the most famous, most-ordered Buttermilk Bar($ 1.64), warmed, of course. My husband chose the Bacon Maple Bar($ 2.29), and we would have expected nothing less once it was spotted. My cousins ordered all things blueberry! The Blueberry Fritter($ 1.99), and a dozen lightly glazed Blueberry Donut Holes($ 1.50). We were also highly tempted by Acme Ice Cream and I sampled three flavors: Espresso, Dark Chocolate, and Chocolate Raspberry. What I loved: I loved the blueberry options in our midst! The warm fritter a true winner among winners! However, the surprising buttery, flaky, biscuit-like buttermilk bar’s hint of glazed sweetness made for the perfect combination with any espresso beverage or a tall glass of milk(even though we settled for ice water.) Why I loved it: Relatively inexpensive, quirky setting with daily fresh donuts, each with a surprising twist on the norm. Cost: Low to average($ 1.50 to $ 2.29 per donut/bar/fritter)

Fun atmosphere. I liked the donuts but they run out so fast, it’s hard to find all the ones I want. Besides standard donuts, they also sell cinnamon rolls, cronuts, ice cream, shakes and malts. Both stores are in a great location.

There’s a little jewel in Fairhaven called«Rocket Donuts» and I highly recommend you come by for a little dessert and check out their fun space-themed décor. From the incredible cronuts they are now serving to their cinnamon buns and filled donuts, there has never been one that has not been fresh, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. On a bleary morning, I once tried their maple donut with bacon on the top. Yumm! I always bring my visitors here after dinner, and there is always something for everyone.

Spectacular. Donuts are good, ice cream is magical. Place overall is a complete winner. Fairhaven is beautiful and worth a visit, but this place really seals the deal. Ice Cream is more similar to Sahlep(Turkish Ice Cream) than regular American Ice Cream. The strawberry rhubarb and the apple pie are magical.

Easily the best doughnuts we have ever had. Had a krueller and a blackberry cake with berries on top. Amazing! Also the shop and service are just top notch. The coffee is also really good.

Situated in the heart of the Fairhaven historical district, Rocket Donuts is the perfect place to stop for a sweet treat and a hit of caffeine. Not only do they have great coffee, they have a vast selection of donuts from the monster donut to little donut holes. The apple fritter has a delicious doughy texture that is packed with apples and cinnamon. I also loved the blueberry donut holes, which were surprisingly cake donuts rather than fried! The fact that they tasted more like a pastry than fried dough was extremely appealing to me. No matter what, there is a donut for you, so don’t hesitate to stop in to splurge!

Ok, to some, a donut is just a lump of fried dough. To me, a donut peace, joy and happiness, as well as a way to calm my ever present stomach acid. Great selection here, including a maple bar with three slices of bacon. I am adverse to porcine products, so I can not vouch for it. I can tell you the classic cake donut with chocolate frosting is great. Also available are espresso and coffee. Really, buy your donut here but walk across the street to Tony’s for coffee.
